I passed by this place all the time and we finally tried it. It was only ok. Slow service. We got the "favorites" set menu. The Korean fried cauliflower was pretty good, but the tomato "nigiri" was not interesting and the rice was dry and didn't hold together. Gyoza was bland as well; the rare dumpling that I didn't want more of after having one. The miso aubergine was good but the rice was dry. It's definitely not great to mess up the basics like steamed rice at an Asian restaurant.
The best part of the meal was the surprisingly good dessert. The steamed date cake was sweet and salty, and the coco panna cotta was surprisingly good and textured. They hinted at us to add tip to our bill, which isn't common at Dutch restaurants and felt a bit strange.
I'd possibly come back for the dessert but not dinner. read more
