I've supported Chef Rene at a few of the locations she's been at around the metroplex - happy her newest one is near the Dallas Farmer's market as I frequent it pretty often. Ordering is online, you'll receive notifications as your order is prepared. When you arrive, you ring the doorbell and your order is handed to you. The food is amazing! Definitely can't get vegan "chicken" like it! I also appreciate that she uses enoki mushroom instead of mock meat. No shade to the mock eat, I enjoy it but try to only have it on occasion. The "chicken" is always hot and fresh with a super nice crunch. Now, that smoked cheddar mac? All I can say is wow! I thought the jalapeño havarti mac and cheese was my favorite but the smoked cheddar mac blew me away. You can truly taste the smoke - not liquid smoke - but that smoke you can only get on the smoker. I need a pan of it! Hehe. read more

Everything was on point the owners and food was just right hot to go plates my family lives in frisco and this was my first time in DFW and my family knew this how I been eating for 25yrs and I'll be going back almost every other day when I move to the area. I had the chicken and waffle plate with some type of coconut syrup and dammnnnnnn I wanted another plate but it's a lil expensive but worth every dime read more

Delicious! I really want to try the "chicken" biscuit. I really enjoyed the ube "chicken" and waffles.

UBE. UBE. UUUUUBE!!! Listen... I'm not vegan, but don't let that fool you--I KNOW good food when I taste it. I ordered the 2-piece signature Chick'n meal with Jalapeño Havarti Mac and baby... this plate did NOT come to play. Now let's talk about the purple waffle. I was side-eyeing it HARD like, "Why is it purple??" But the owner let me try a sample and WOW. Baby let me tell you that waffle is A spiritual experience. I'm already planning my return for the ube waffle chick'n sandwich because clearly I've found my new obsession. 10/10. No notes. Take my money. read more

My husband and I patronized this restaurant more than once and in my opinion the menu is limited. The food is spicy so if you're sensitive or don't like spicy food, this may not be the restaurant for you. I got the chicken sandwich and when I bit into it, the batter was not cooked all the way through. I don't know if it was a mushroom or cauliflower, but it ended up being kind of doughy and soggy like, because the faux meat was too thick. REVISED : The baked potato review was an error had banked beans they were sweet but with a good flavor. I didn't taste the BBQ sandwich. I'm not sure if I would these particular items again, however I would come back and try the Alfredo and crab cakes when I catch it on the menu... I hate that I can't find my other receipt for the second experience. read more

Lemon pepper flavor was great and I absolutely loved the pickles. Will come back to try waffles and meatloaf read more

The food I ordered was amazing! I had the chick'n basket that came with bread, pickles and peppers. I also had the spicy chick'n Rasta pasta and the meatloaf with jerk rice. Everything was well seasoned to perfection! You wouldn't know it was vegan. The service was above and beyond, I received a text when my order was ready which isn't what they normally do! The restaurant is order online and pickup only, no seating. Very casual spot in East Dallas with a reasonable amount of parking to pick up your order then leave. Highly recommended because the food is amazing and the customer service is A-1. Definitely worth checking out even if you're not vegan! read more

Vegan Heat Review - A Must-Try Spot in Fairview, TX! I recently visited Vegan Heat, located inside the Revolving Kitchen in Fairview, TX, and let me tell you--it did NOT disappoint! I had the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Empanadas, and Jalapeño Havarti Mac n Cheese, and every bite was packed with flavor. I split everything in half, enjoying it for dinner and lunch the next day, and it was just as good the second time around! It was SO good that I had to order it again the next day for dinner--but this time, I switched it up with the Cajun Potato Salad. And once again, Vegan Heat delivered with bold, delicious flavors! If you're looking for top-tier vegan comfort food that hits the spot every time, this is the place to be. My Overall Meal was a 10/10. Overall Experience 10/10. My recommendations is Goooooo!!! I was so excited when I heard about this spot, it reminded me of a restaurant in South Dallas called the munchies which recently closed down a few years ago. This is truly a hole in the wall vegan chicken shack and unfortunately, the hype is not true. I ordered the vegan chicken, which is just mushrooms and they gave me a large serving, but there was no excitement. I could've made these myself and done a better job. I ordered a watermelon juice thinking that it was authentic homemade and it's just juice in a can. The fried mushrooms are a little salty the dipping sauce on the side. It is pretty good, but these are not healthy full of grease. The one positive is the customer service. The staff were friendly. The online ordering process was efficient and they were willing to respond back to text messages about the order. Because this is establishment, is without seating the food is taken go. read more

Vegan Heat - Vegan Near Me - Dallas, Texas

Some of the best tasting vegetarian food I've had... quick preparation and large servings. Very friendly staff

First I want to start by saying Vegan Heat makes FRESH FOOD NOT FAST FOOD!!!! Trust me there is a HUGE difference, and the proof is in the food. Those who are new to Vegan food, or Vegan restaurants in general should understand that a lot of Vegan food has to be prepared right before it's cooked to maintain freshness and flavor. So please take this into consideration if your order takes a couple of minutes longer than you were quoted. Chef Renee works hard and is ONE person. Chef Renee is HUGE on communication, customer service and thanks everyone with the same gratitude and positive energy when picking up their order. They also welcome any and all feedback which is why I'm here typing this out today!! Vegan heat offers a rotating menu daily so follow them on IG or peep the website for what's on deck for the day https://veganheat.square.site/?item=377#29 When you order. I would suggest inputting your phone number so you get a text when your order is ready (or just make it easy on yourself and use Apple Pay ). Upon arrival if your order is ready (meaning you received a text that your order is ready for pick up) all you have to do is wait in-front of the door, and someone will walk out shortly and ask for your order name. Be patient, sometimes it takes a minute or two cause they are cranking out this Vegan goodness!! Now on to the food. The first day I had the Stuffed fried chicken with the Alfredo pasta. I drove 25 minutes back home and the breading was still crunchy and far from soggy even sitting on that delicious pasta. The Alfredo pasta was creamy and cooked to perfection. It comes with two pieces of "chicken", and a slice of bread to sop up that bomb ass sauce!! If this is on the menu. DONT SLEEP!!! I'm going to circle back around to the exceptional customer service Chef Renee is about real quick!! There was a small wait on Wednesday, and to make it right she put a little something extra in my bag. I got the special opportunity to try the Fried Collard Greens and Jollof rice, and DAMN was it fire. I was soo full from my entree, but I wasn't about to hit the snooze button on this wonderful heartfelt surprise, and I'm glad I didnt, cause DAMN was it DANK!!! The next day I absolutely had to double back for that Fried Fish basket, and let me tell you IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! If you grew up in the south or had fried fish in the past. This is a basket you for sure want to get your hands on ASAP like rocky. It comes with signature "destiny" sauce and a big slice of bread. The Destiny sauce was so good and a packed with a plethora of flavor that will have you scarping the container. For the last "fillet" I kept it old school. I wrapped that bad boy in my bread and drizzled hot sauce on it. This brought tears to my eyes. Not because of the hot sauce, but the nostalgia this meal brought to me. 10 out of 10 in all areas!! Chef Renee you did your thing and I'm thankful I was able to try such spectacular dishes that spoke directly to my heart and soul. I hope I did this review justice. I wish you all the success and blessings the future has in store for you. I can't wait to try it ALL!! Until next time peace and love . To anyone reading this if you gotten this far. Please support this wonderful soul and her exquisite creations. Your future self will be thankful. Thanks for reading. read more

I am new to vegan food. I have not fully transitioned but make small changes but those that know me, know I love me a good piece of fried chicken and the seasoning. My FRIEND ordered for us and we drove to pick it up and eat it at home, lets say food didn't make it out the venue. I had the two piece fried chicken and mac and cheese. It sure did not look like a mushroom as it appeared I was tearing pieces of chicken. The seasoning was perfect and spicy. We will definitely go again! read more

So I've been seeing this place for a while and have been meaning to try it but it always would slip my mind. And honestly I was a little leery. But I decided that I was going to get a plate today! I am so happy that I did. While trying to be vegan or vegetarian it can be a little hard sometimes because a lot of places don't offer the options, especially out this way. Well today I tried a vegan rib for the first time. It is so good! I have not actually had a rib since 2014 and if I remember correctly this actually tastes like a rib. It did have a little kick to it but that didn't take from the goodness. Everything was seasoned very well. And I will be trying some of her other plates. Customer service was great! She asked for my honest opinion and she was very pleasant. read more

First, I can understand the mass confusion of new customers to this business. It's a "closed kitchen", meaning there is no walk in location. There are other confusing elements about this unique business as well, so let me break it down for all the newbies out there before any more awful reviews come out. For whatever reason, this isn't all explained anywhere which leads to the confusion. ORDERING You order from her website. Period. It's not a walk in place. https://veganheat.square.site/ Also, the menu changes every day (so you need to check the website although she shows you in advance what she's making on Instagram every day). She's not open 7 days a week. AND, you don't order until you're ready. This is not a place where you place an order in advance and then pick it up at a specified time hours later. You need to order ~20-30 mins in advance of when you want it (or just look at the pickup time drop-down to see the next available pick up time) and then go and pick up your food ASAP. PICKING UP YOUR FOOD Drive to the location. She'll most likely have called you already to tell you she's working on your order. Call her back at the same number to let her know when you're there. Someone will come out and give it to you. Your food will have napkins and cutlery already. There may also be an Uber Eats/Doordash option instead of pickup but I'm not familiar with food delivery services. THE FOOD It's amazing! You won't even believe it's vegan. Everything tasted unbelievable and there was so much! Just take it easy--the food is full of oil, salt, and sugar. So for anyone on a WFPB diet, this place ain't for you. THE STAFF Everyone is really sweet. Sometimes it's hard to tell because you're only talking to someone over the phone and not seeing them in person. But I promise, if you think there's any rudeness, you're wrong and you're misinterpreting. The folks here are nice as all get out and the owner will bend over backwards for you! VEGANS: you need to go here for the food. You'll thank me later. read more

It blows my mind how freaking incredible the fried mushroom tastes. I've been vegan 12 years and this is by far the best fried mushroom I've had and it ain't even close. Renee!!! These plates were fiyah ‼ I am a true food snob. That bbq sammich was THE BEST VEGAN BBQ I've EVER had. The guy that said it was better than something he had outta oak cliff ain't tell no lies about that!! I wish there was some bbq sauce on the side. I like my food saucy/wet. Those greens were among the best vegan greens I've had outside of my own. I'm glad I asked for the extra gravy. It got soaked up by the rice. I liked the Mac more as it cooled down. Vegan Mac is often hit or miss. I don't usually like when beans are cooked with the oxtails but it was good and flavorful. My absolute favorite things were unequivocally the bbq sammich and the greens. The portions were good. I'm a 1st timer that will without a doubt become a repeat customer!! It's definitely worth the drive to grab plates. I usually don't stray too far from home during rush hour traffic. It was worth every minute in traffic. I'll be back back!! **Arnold Schwarzenegger voice** read more

I have been dreading making this post because I absolutely love the food here. I know it weird to start a one star review with a complement but in complete honesty the food is amazing when I can place an order that isn't instantly cancelled. This is the fifth time I've tired to order through door dash and in Person where I've placed my order only to have it accepted and then immediately canceled. I frankly have given up. I crave this place when I'm having a bad day or don't feel good because the food has that perfect crunch and salty spicy goodness I want, but this is the fifth bad day made worse I've had Just trying to order from doordash or in person at the revolving kitchen. So be wary if you decide to treat yourself to honest to god amazing food here, because If your luck is as rotten as mine they'll likely cancel every order you put in without explanation. read more

Everything I've tried so far is amazing. The meatloaf is my favorite followed by the bbq sandwich.
