But if you blindfolded me, I don't know if I could confidently tell you it was Wagyu. It tasted very similar to a really good smash burger, so unless you're trying to impress your taste buds (or your wallet), I'd probably just order the original smash burger next time. One thing to keep in mind: there was only one guy running the whole operation when I visited. He was taking orders, cooking, and doing everything short of cloning himself. So if the place gets busy, expect a little wait. Honestly, respect to him for keeping it all together. Parking is a bit of a treasure hunt since there are only a few stalls. I got lucky and snagged the last spot, but street parking may be your backup plan. The inside was clean, spacious, and a comfortable place to enjoy your meal. If an order is given a pickup time, it should ideally be ready or close to ready by then. That was definitely the biggest downside of the experience. The burger itself was good, though not quite worth the 40-45 minute wait overall. I ordered the Umami Wagyu Cheeseburger. It had good flavor, but it was pretty messy, and honestly, I couldn't really tell much of a difference from regular beef. I'm not sure the "wagyu" aspect added much for me personally. I'm usually a very patient person, but this experience left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. I can only imagine how long the dine-in customers were waiting.
