At least I didn't swallow it, but I knew that the only way to fix it would have to be a trip to the dentist. It ended up being a blessing in disguise! 〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 You see every time I have been to see the dentist, I spend probably 10 minutes apologizing to the dental assistant for not flossing enough. When the dentist comes in, our conversation goes something like: (Dentist) "So, Renee, Mrs. Carlson, tell me, when was the last time you went to see the dentist?" (Me) "Bless me, Holy Master of the Tooth. It's been 12 years since my last visit." Then I would prepare to accept my penance of a long speech and a mouth full of torture devices... 〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰〰 Well today is a new day! I've been saved, I suppose you could say . I'm so happy to have finally found a Dentistry where they take customer service seriously. I even made my next appointment to have my teeth cleaned for next week, on Tuesday! I showed up for a routine cleaning and was denied care because I declined X-rays--despite having them two years ago and knowing they're not required by MA law for a cleaning. I explained that I pay out of pocket and couldn't afford unnecessary extras, but the dentist brushed me off and told me to find another office. When I said I'd leave a review, another dentist arrogantly replied that he would just remove it. The issue wasn't just the policy--it was the blatant disrespect and lack of professionalism. And he said that I needed to have tons of dental work done for my own good even though they were not giving me any problem. He touched every corner of my teeth. He removed all the previously treated filling and replaced it with new fillings. The teeth felt sharp and it hurt for a long time after the procedure. He wanted to sell me very expensive mouth guard. Cash money of almost $800. After some appointment mishaps, he was very angry with me. Said a lot of inappropriate and personal things to me while he had his sharp dental instruments in his hand and me in the chair, "are you gonna buy the dental guard now or your gonna continue to procrastinate?" Don't go to this guy. He will fix what's not broken to take your money. And he will turn on you when he realize you are not the best cash cow in his spa like decor all so nice dental office.

I had a lot of anxiety going into getting fillings done (due to prior fillings at other dental offices I had horrible experiences). They were great! They turned on the TV to help distract me, talked me through the steps, gave me topical numbing medication, and then gave me novocaine. I couldn't even feel the novocaine injection. And then next thing I knew it was done! The dentist and assistant were wonderful. Now I don't fear the dentist anymore. Happily recommend to everyone!
