At first, I thought it was like a factory, with so many offices, dental hygienists and 2 other dentists. Then, they said I needed some work done. Well, I thought I had the best dentist ever, and didn't feel comfortable that I really needed this work. I kept going, though, and realized my first impressions were unfounded. The doctors, hygienists and office staff are very helpful, friendly and competent. My teeth are great, and I haven't had any serious work on my teeth since I had a root canal. They are very knowledgeable about dental insurance plans, and check that and tell you whether there is any extra expenses beyond the insurance coverage. I am as pleased with the service and friendliness as anyone could be.

At one appointment he told me he was okay with it as long as I didn't hold him responsible for some catastrophic dental issue that might arise from my lack of X-rays, but the following appointment 6 months later, he became very aggressive and told me I could not come back unless I agreed to his X-ray requirements. So obviously I did not return. And the fact that at first he was okay with very limited X-rays and then the next appointment he wasn't and was much more aggressive... tells me it was more about the money and not really that something could go horribly and inexplicably wrong without X-rays. I always found him a bit aggressive... maybe short-man complex... but, in fairness, he was a good dentist otherwise. Good luck.

I went in for the first time on Monday, as I moved from CT and needed to find a new dentist. Dr. Tutin had such good reviews I figured I would give them a shot. I am really picky about my teeth and I am SO glad I decided to come here! I was warmly greeted by both the receptionist and the office manager when I walked in at 9am. They are both very sweet ladies. I sat down for less than 10 seconds before I was brought to the room with Emily, who was another very sweet woman. (I have never NOT had to wait at a doctor's office- so this was already a good sign for me.) She cleaned my teeth the best out of anyone who has in the past. How do I know this? My teeth were still sore 36 hours later. It wasn't a bad sore- it was one of those good sores when you know they really did a good job! Now here's where the fun comes in.. after Emily was finished, she brought in Dr. Tutin, who was extremely nice and seemed genuinely interested when asking me questions about my life as well as my past dental history (obviously). He also noticed on my chart that in a couple days I would be celebrating my birthday... and not only did I get a sweet new toothbrush.. but Dr. Tutin gave me another gift for my birthday- tickets to my favorite sports team and favorite place on this planet. WOW! He is honestly my favorite man! I have recommended his office to everyone I have come in contact with the past 2 days and I am recommending him to you! If you're looking for a new dentist in the Framingham area- this guy is your guy!!! Their office is right off of the pike and very easy to find and they are very kind, approachable, and will work hard. They also stressed to me that they will never do something that my insurance doesn't cover without running it by me first.. even if it was $0.55.. they still won't do anything without telling me. Offices always close early on Christmas Eve so I thought there be no chance, but I was desperate. To my surprise she came back and said, "How soon can you get here?" OMG, right away!! I couldn't believe it!! Dr. Fessler is a Saint for seeing me and relieving my pain so I could enjoy Christmas!! Not only did he see me when most offices would have said no, but he alleviated my pain. Never in my life was I more grateful. Such an incredibly kind and empathetic person. Later that week, Dr. Huh who is as equally kind, gently removed the tooth. He is the kind of dentist who explains the entire process from beginning to end which makes a potentially scary procedure pain free and anxiety free!! Rami is also a very kind a patient person at check out who will take his time to go over any of the procedures and answer question if/when you have a billing question. I highly recommend this office. I can't say enough good words for Dr. Seligman and his practice…read more It might be because I come from a family of dentists back in my home country, but before Dr. Seligman, I had had multiple dentists in three different states (VA, NC, and MA) just because I wasn't happy with the providers and their services (i.e. sloppy, unsatisfactory dental work, overcharging, etc.) I am so happy that I found Dr. Seligman and his team. Dr. Seligman is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain thoroughly any existent problems and the solutions to these problems. He always makes sure that the patient is comfortable with the procedure that is to take place. In addition, unlike some dentists, he treats only what is necessary and doesn't try to find additional problems or recommend unnecessary procedures just to make some extra $. You can also be sure that you will only find top-of-the-line technology and treatments at Dr. Seligman's office. I have had a crown done, and the whole process took less than 2 hours from start to finish! It was painless, quick and now no one can tell that the crown is not my actual tooth. Additionally, I have received two meticulously done dental cleanings from two different dental hygienists (Diane and Alina), and as strange as it may sound, but I am looking forward to my next cleanings. If you need a reliable dental practice with true professionals, Dr. Seligman's office is THE ONE!

Disappointed that the doctor would not adjust the quantity, but the worst was that Jean charted the notes: "Terry has called multiple times to get a refill...". This is blatantly false; a lie. Anyone with sense knows exactly what she was implying and she knew, too. It was not a typo. I advised correcting it to the truth, which they did. The ADA may also be interested. Falsely stating a patient is calling repeatedly for pain medication is very serious. I'll never return to the practice, but this is to warn potential and existing patients that facts aren't a priority with Nankin Dental. This wasn't the only inaccuracy, but it was the most serious and deserves further attention.

Relying entirely on this representation, I paid their hefty upfront fee under the understanding that my insurance would reimburse the claim in full. They assured me I could contact their office if I had any issues with this claim. For the record, I have never had even a copay at other dental practices. My routine cleanings and X-rays have always been fully covered elsewhere. To my great surprise, my insurance only covered a portion of their fee. I reached out to their office over the phone and spoke with Ashley, who informed me that this was routine and to be expected. Helen sent me a follow up email reiterating that I was entirely at fault and would not be reimbursed for their misleading mistake. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone based on their deceptive practice of attempting to gain clients by not being upfront about costs. It left me with an icky feeling and sadness that although this is a small town, there are businesses here that would remain successful despite operating in such a dishonest manner. You are best served by taking your business elsewhere.

The day beforehand the appointment I received 4 or 5 calls/texts about the new patient forms and a new date while I was at work. Followed by a voicemail that they were cancelling my appointment as I had not responded (I'm at work) . I called at the end of day and I was told they just moved my appointment as the Dr was unavailable. I rescheduled again but was told I would have to come in for a separate time again for the actual cleaning. The office was just chaotic and jerking me around on times. I'll go elsewhere

The staff is extremely friendly and I feel like they appreciate you being a patient there. I tend to always re-schedule my appointments and they never get upset about it. I have been a patient here since they were in their old office on West Squantum Street which as someone mentioned was small but inviting. The New office is spacious, beautifully decorated, and yet still very inviting and warm. They did a great job opening their new space which Dr. Competiello was very excited about and he even gave me a tour of all of their new state of the art equipment. It is nice to know that small medical practices still exist that put the patient first and invest in the latest medical technology. I plan on being a patient here for a long time and highly recommend Dr. Competiello and dental hygienist Stephanie!
