Even if Dr…read more Roberts made a mistake, there is NO way he would have not apologized and do his best to make it right! I kept going there because he was honest, considerate and worked to do the right thing for all his patients, not just the most expensive option.

DO NOT RISK YOUR LIFE!…read more I have been a patient at Gentle Dental for over 10 years, previously under the care of Dr. Roberts, who is no longer with the practice. Earlier this week, I underwent a routine wisdom tooth extraction that turned into a traumatic experience. I had initially canceled this appointment because, during a prior cleaning, I met the new dentist and felt uneasy about his confidence and competency. As someone with experience in the medical field, I now regret not trusting my instincts. The extraction was performed by Dr. Andrew Bejian, who I later learned graduated from dental school only one year ago. Midway through the procedure, I had to stop him due to unbearable pain and the extraction equipment resting on my lips. He struggled significantly, and I could feel cracking sensations, which I initially assumed was the tooth. When the tooth finally came out, a large portion of the surrounding bone came with it, leading to profuse bleeding that has continued for four days. Upon returning home, I removed the saturated gauze and discovered that air was escaping from the extraction site. It turns out that the bone loss created a communication with my sinus cavity--a condition that will now require surgical repair. I had asked Dr. Bejian to suture the site, but he declined. Both my primary care physician and the oral surgeon I have since seen were surprised that no sutures were placed. Unfortunately, due to the severity of the pain and swelling, stitches cannot be done at this time. Currently, the swelling on the left side of my face is so severe that my eye is swollen shut. I've been unable to sleep, missed an entire week of work, and remain in significant distress. I am exploring all available options but felt it necessary to share this experience to warn others: do not risk your health or your life--avoid this practice. I will never return.

RUN. No, seriously. I sincerely hope Dr. Carabatsos is no longer in business. Where do I begin?…read more All of the equipment looks like it is circa 1974. The tiny waiting room was absolutely plastered with crazy drawings from his young daughter -- during a particularly long wait I counted over 25 doodles. Similar drawings decorate the walls in all of the cleaning/exam rooms. Twice I went for regular cleanings and they were "out" of x-ray film. Seriously? Twice? As a result, when they finally x-rayed my teeth, I had a hidden cavity that was so bad I needed a root canal and eventually lost the tooth. My older brother and I had tooth pain at the same time and he prescribed medication to him and told me to take it as well. Apparently writing two prescriptions was just too damn hard. While having a cavity filled, the novocaine began to wear off and I cried out in pain and signalled that my tooth hurt. He told me "That's the sound an animal makes" and kept drilling because he was close to finishing. I know this sounds far-fetched, but it is the honest-to-goodness truth. I'm several years removed from coming here, but I can't believe no one else has reviewed this hellhole. My oldest brother arrived on time for the "first appointment of the day" and waited for 15 minutes for the receptionist to arrive, then an additional 15 minutes for the dentist to arrive. All of this occurred in just 2-3 years while we had particularly bad dental insurance and couldn't go elsewhere...

I have found the Best Dentist i have ever had...and I am no spring chicken. I don't like needles in the mouth at all...but Dr. Honda with precision, prepares you for every moment..her caring touch works wonders. She explains and because she is an expert, she moves with speed and because she does . It's over and she has move to the next patient. She told me I would feel pressure pulling five teeth, I didn't. No pain whatsoever. Just a smile and comfort is what you get. Next day no pain . Amazing to me.Her team from receptionist to finance and in between, classy and genuine yet all business...they care about the patient. We are not customers...I LOVE THAT !!! So, if you are scared of the Dentist, I was blessed to find Dr. Hooda . I have my smile back. Thank You Dr.Hooda , I didn't need a knee in the chest while you removed the teeth. I'm sorry but this place is VERY unprofessional and I would neverrrrrrr recommend anyone to go there!!! Quality of care?? Nonetheless, the actions of Manager Delfina Fonseca are troubling. The event today 05/19/26 was unparalleled. Ms. Fonseca's treatment of non-English speaking Haitians was discouraging. When a patient arrived for her appointment and struggled with the paperwork, Ms. Fonseca told a staff member that the patient was taking too long to complete it. She seemed to believe that the patient's language barrier should have resulted in the cancellation of the appointment. This viewpoint is unacceptable. Fair care requires patients to receive help in their native language, regardless of English. Language should not prevent access to essential services.

My original dentist is on Cape Cod, but I needed a root canal and the Cape was booked out so I chose to go to Vagenas in Brockton (red flag 1 because nothing good ever comes out of Brockton). Anyway, I went and had my root canal and despite my judgement it went really well! I had to schedule another root canal for a second tooth. I went into the office, he numbed me, began work and I could still feel it so he numbed me again, ( he didn't even wait a few mins before starting again for the numbing to begin working), then I could still feel it. The minute I complained he ripped everything out of my mouth (literally) and told his assistant to reschedule me. ( which was confusing to me because I was already majority numb, and for my first canal he numbed me as much as I needed). He then told me next appointment do not drink coffee, don't smoke marijuana, or take any drugs (none of which I did).. so I'm just confused as to WHY you would treat a patient like that & what's the difference between today and next time? If he numbs me next time and it's not enough is he just going to send me home again? So now I took a morning off work, didn't get any work done, with a half numb face, & root canal that STILL needs to be done. Beyond unprofessional. & then the front office is a deer in headlights when I'm expressing my frustration, speechless, no apology, no explanation, no nothing. & this brings me to my initial comment- nothing good ever comes out of Brockton! Ghetto! I'd rather WAIT for my dental work on Cape where it's PROFESSIONAL. Shame because I actually recommended his work to two of my friends, I'll definitely be letting them know to look elsewhere
