After one big strike out at another practice, I came here and Dr. Park and her team took excellent care of me! She is so kind and gentle. I had some fillings done, and she is really quick and has a fun banter with her assistant which helps me not think about getting my teeth drilled. I also recently had a cleaning with Hayley, and she was great too- super friendly! She was patient with me and it was a pretty painless and stress free cleaning. I need a lot of dental work. During my visit I received more information about how to best take care of my teeth and the series of procedures I require to bring my teeth back to health. Everything (everything!) was explained in great detail. Not just what I need but exactly why and how. I'm not looking forward to the oral gauntlet I'm going to be travelling but I'm going in with the upmost confidence that the results will be well worth it and much appreciated. These folks are great. She was belligerent, rude, kept cutting me off and acted like I was bothering her. If you don't know the answers and can't be civil, find someone in the office who can. It reflects poorly on the business. I went elsewhere, and they scheduled me the next day and were welcoming upon arrival. They more than met expectations, as a business should that relies on customers!

And yet he attempted to scare tactic me into future serious procedures (due to age)...when a simple look into research would reveal that much simpler and cheaper procedures may be better options IF needed. In talking with my husband he also experienced the same thing with him. Tried to seek him on over $18000 worth of work. In reality, another very good dentist gave better and more helpful solutions for less than $2000. Simply put. I will never schedule another appt with him. I may see another dentist in the practice as I'm told others are reasonable and not salesmen out to make a killing on you. But bottom line. A dentist who doesn't even look at my mouth and the demeans my smile because he is more focused on cosmetics is not a good dentist who actually cares about your health. I don't trust him.

They have modern tools to accurately measure the new tooth instead of them using the old way of jamming dental floss into the gums for an impression. They didn't even have to shave any of the tooth down, it fit perfectly the first time. Laura, one of the dental assistants, is also wonderful to work with. I will be a lifetime patient of this practice!

However, my final experience here was awful. The hygienist got tons of floss stuck in my tooth, which has never happened to me before in all my years of dental care. It made me a little nervous. When I expressed my concern, she yelled at me to "just stay calm". She was clearly stressed and taking it out on me which was very unprofessional. She could have just calmly said, "don't worry, I got you". After my cleaning, I noticed that the issue of things getting stuck in that tooth was much worse, so I reached out to the doctor about it. She was very rude and dismissive And said we already talked about it and that she didn't feel comfortable answering my questions about foods to support overall dental health and that I could look it up myself. A day later, I received a letter in the mail saying that "due to a breakdown in doctor patient care, they would no longer be willing to be my dentist." I was absolutely shocked at this aggressive, melodramatic reaction to something so petty. I asked very normal and appropriate questions and behaved completely normally in the office. I can assure you that the "breakdown" was because of their lack of patient care, compassion, and social skills and not because of anything I said or did as a patient. I was extremely cooperative and asked very normal questions. I find this to be a really unethical move because they told me I needed additional dental care, yet, it is next to impossible to find a dentist that takes my insurance and it took me forever to get reestablisbed with this office.

I wasted insurance money from other dentists because they couldn't fix my issue. After doing alot of research, I finally decided to call Allen Dental Braintree. Thanks to the front desk (Gina) who was very patient with me, explained and assured me that the dentists there can and will fix my issue. The dental hygienist Nicole also had a very friendly attitude and because of this, I felt less nervous. Other things I've noticed: I did feel my appt with the dentist was rushed. The place is roomy but there was some unpleasant smell in the waiting area. I got a sore throat a couple days later after the appt and I do think it was from this dentist office. I did not have any work done at this place so I cannot say about their work. But their referral specialist did fix my issue that had been bothering me for years. What has happened to Weymouth Dental Associates?…read more I used to be a patient at Weymouth Dental Associates years ago when I lived in Weymouth, and I remember having a very different experience. Because my mom lives nearby, I recommended this practice to her, so I was extremely disappointed to hear about her recent experience. From the moment she arrived, she was met with what she described as a very cold reception from the front desk. If you work in a healthcare setting, greeting patients with kindness and professionalism should be the bare minimum. Going to the dentist can already be an anxiety-inducing experience, and patients should feel welcomed and comfortable and not like they are an inconvenience. Unfortunately, her experience with Dr. Lin was no better. She felt that the bedside manner was lacking and that she was made uncomfortable during her visit. I understand that people come from different cultural backgrounds and may have different communication styles, but when you work in healthcare, you have a responsibility to make your patients feel respected, heard, and at ease. It took everything in me not to walk into the office after my mom told me about her experience. I recommended this practice based on my own positive experiences years ago, and I regret that my recommendation resulted in my mom having such a negative experience. Please do better. Patients have choices when it comes to their healthcare, and there are many other dental practices that understand the importance of treating patients with kindness, respect, and compassion. Especially elderly patience. Never forget that the way you treat people can determine whether they choose to return.
