I am writing to formally complain about a deeply troubling experience during my mother's appointment today. My mother is 85 years old, handicapped, and has significant difficulty walking even with a walker. She was scheduled for a denture adjustment appointment at 12:50 PM. At approximately 11:00 AM, I received both a text message and a phone call from your office instructing me to bring my mother through the back entrance so she would not have to walk a long distance. When we arrived, the back door was locked. There was no bell, no signage, and no way to alert staff. It was extremely cold and windy. I attempted to call the main office line multiple times, but no one answered. We waited outside for over five minutes, during which time I could not safely leave my mother standing, as she was at risk of falling. Eventually, a staff member named Melissa opened the door while taking out the trash. She refused to let us enter and repeatedly told us to go to the front entrance, stating that staff "do not work in the back." I calmly and respectfully explained multiple times that your front desk had specifically instructed us to use the back entrance and showed her the text message confirming this. Despite this, she refused to assist us, refused to contact the front desk, and continued questioning me in a confrontational manner rather than helping an elderly disabled patient out of the cold. After several minutes of unnecessary argument, I stated I would take my mother back to the car and go to the front desk myself. Only then did Melissa say my mother could come inside and sit in the waiting area. Shortly afterward, another staff member, Holly, became involved. Instead of addressing the situation or acknowledging the failure in handling a disabled patient, she immediately defended Melissa. At no point did either staff member acknowledge that my mother's safety and comfort should have been the priority. This situation reflects a serious failure in basic customer service, communication, and care for elderly and handicapped patients. At minimum, my mother should have been immediately allowed inside and seated while staff clarified any internal confusion. I expect better treatment for vulnerable patients and hope this matter is taken seriously, and not question patients like some legal experts! I AM TOTALLY SHOCKED THAT I GOT A LETTER FROM CHRISTINE THE OFFICE MANAGER THAT THEY WILL NOT BE PROVIDING SERVICES TO ME ANYMORE, EVEN THOUGH THEY MISTREATED ME AND MY HANDICAP MOTHER, ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE! I have written a review for Lux Smile before and need to do it again because I just had another wonderful experience there. I had cracked a tooth and knew I would need a new crown. Got an appointment in no time and Dr.Sarah and her assistant Jackie began their magic! Believe it or not I went in at 9:40AM and walked out a few hours later with my crown all done and feeling perfect! I am so impressed with this dental office. Dental care was good and office is modern, abut--and I'd say this about ANY dental office--know your dental insurance benefits and whether or not your plan has a deductible. I had provided Luxesmile's office with complete dental insurance info. for my elderly mother a couple days before her appt. Then, when we arrived, she was told that her insurance had a $100 deductible and payment was due up-front. I said there must be a mistake because her insurance does NOT have a deductible. The receptionist said they had contacted the insurance co. and $100 was due, and she was firm that nothing was happening until she collected $100. After a bit more back-and-forth, the practice's billing person got involved. I asked her to please call the insurance co. for clarification; she did and, sure enough, there wasn't a $100 deductible on the plan and no money was due, so my mum was then able to go forward with her appointment less stressed. read more

I went to Luxe Dental to inquire about implants for my top teeth. After being greeted by his staff, I went off to X-ray. Dr. Will came in and explained the implant procedure to me in plain English that I could understand. Told me the price. I loved his enthusiasm about my case. I went ahead and had the procedure done. Paige was instrumental in helping me get financing. They make the whole process so stress free. I would highly recommend Luxe in Marshfield for any dental needs. My recent urgent visit to Luxe Smile in Marshfield is typical of the service I have come to not only expect but appreciate from this excellent office. A call for an appointment is responded to quickly and efficiently. Dr Sarah and her assistant Darnell were attentive to my needs, spent time discussing options and took care that all impressions made were done with perfection so the lab would not have a problem . Danell made sure front desk knew I needed to return the next day and Holly at the front desk had already researched insurance coverage which to my pleasant surprise covered most of the cost. I had a consultation today for 6 month smile/veneers with Dr. Burghardt. He is very knowledgeable and answered my many questions I had regarding cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Burghardt is patient and takes the time to go over all your options with you. He was also honest about what I did and did not need done. And in what order things should be done. The women that works in the financial department at the office is also great she spent quite a bit of time going over all my finance options and I was easily approved for the procedure through care credit and already have my appointment set up to move forward. I have heard great things about Dr. Burghardt and have wanted to schedule a consultation for some time but like many people have a slight dental phobia. I'm so happy with the way the consultation turned out and know from seeing other people's results that have gone to him that my smile will come out beautiful! My only regret is not doing it sooner! read more

I was a patient here fir the last few years and recently decided to switch. The dentist I saw at luxesmile told me I needed a crown and 3 fillings at my most recent check up I was sort of surprised but was planning on scheduling it. I decided to switch dentist due to the long long waiting times to be seen even with an appointment. Went to a new dentist today with the written recommendations from luxe and the new dentist disagreed and saw no need for any of this work. I had a lot done by this facility and now wonder if any of if it was necessary. The dentist are young that could be why. Or they just are hungry for money. I had a bad experience there, they are more interested in getting there money than treating u like a customer. They called me many times for my insurance card and I sent them info and picture. They had called previous to my appointment and found that it was cancelled. So instead of calling me back to tell me so I could call and find out why, they just let me come in. The insurance company was now closed for me at this time to straighten out matter, so I couldn't have my appointment. I left work early and lost pay. They could have at least called me with this information before I came in. Turned out to be computer glitch and corrected right away. Will not go back. read more

I personally couldn't say enough about Dr. Will. Last year right before Christmas my tooth broke. I walked in to aspen dental hoping just to get a quick fix and walked out almost in tears holding a $15,000 treatment plan. No that comma is not in the wrong place. It was the worst experience of my life. My wife had meet Dr Will at a party he threw for his clients. When she got home she strongly encouraged me to go see him. After my experience with Aspen dental I didn't see much reason to go. "He's just gonna tell me the same thing they did!" I protested. She made the appointment anyways and I couldn't have been more wrong!!! The entire luxe smile office is pleasant, up front, and most important, caring. I love everyone at LuxeSmile. I have always had an irrational fear of the dentist but Dr. Will made me feel so at ease. The equipment is top of the line and they have done everything possible to make you comfortable, from choosing the music they play to the comfortable chair to the sunglasses they give you so the lights don't blind you. They made an experience that I usually dread one that I actually look forward to. I recently took my young children there as well and the hygienist, Amy, was amazing with them. She was calm and patient and went slow whenever they were nervous. She also took the time to show them how to take care of their teeth and brush properly. Ok, I'm a new patient with tons of guilt about not having been to the dentist in a long time. I need considerable work to be done. I hate the generic dentist and many specific ones. Not Dr. Will. His staff was very welcoming and no problem seems too big. Dr. Will fully explained the immediate and long-term plan and sensibly helped me prioritize our next steps. No drama or price shock. He fully explained his areas of competency which are much broader than a general dentist which means no referral out to another dentist (odds are good I would hate that dentist). Very bright, passionate and amusing guy. The guy even has a bobble-head of himself. His staff were very friendly with no attitudes. (I also hate medical or dental staff with attitudes). Even the money/insurance person was nice and walked me through on how to maximize my benefits. Next appointment for me is May 30 and I am not dreading it. I am surprised I am writing this review.
