First time here and had a great experience with getting my daughters nose pierced. Very professional and informative. They walked her through everything. Love this place! read more

I love this place they are very professional and informative! The employees take their time and pierce you with love . I will say the piercings are pretty expensive I got my nose pierced and I paid $250 for everything . It's worth it because it has life time warranty but just know it'll be high in pricing. Overall it's a vibe here read more

I feel they are more worried about upselling you on their jewelry than anything else. The place is clean, but the experience I felt was lacking, mostly because they are so adamant on you getting a more expensive piece of jewelry. read more

Informative and friendly staff. Very ethical and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them.

Customer service: 5/5 Variety of jewelry: 3/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Adrianna was wonderful. Highly recommend read more

My first trip was to accompany a friend getting another piercing from Vaughn. The staff were incredibly friendly as I asked so many questions and thanks to their jewelry collection, I walked away with a piercing. As a person who hates needles, the process was very pleasant. I have since returned for additional piercings. I highly recommend. read more

Extremely clean and sanitary. Pretty expensive but I'd choose quality over quantity. No infection and clean facility.

Staff are incredibly nice, the place has a professional yet calming layout and their jewelry is gorgeous. Everything is sterilized and every step of the piercing process is explained to you so there's no surprises. Piercer is very knowledgeable, patiently listens and addresses any questions you have. They've totally elevated my expiernce and standards for getting any sort of piercing done, jewlery replaced or piercing removed/replaced. I've found my go to piercer and won't be going anywhere else personally. read more

I got my belly pierced here at the beginning of June. It's currently mid October and it is fully healed, has never had any issues, and I've changed the jewelry out too. I could not recommend this place more. I've gotten my rook (2 years ago) and conch (3 1/2 years ago) done as well and they both healed perfectly without any issues. If you want to get pierced at a place with very friendly and caring employees, definitely come here! I will say it can get a little pricey depending on the jewelry and individual piercing, but trust me it is soooo worth it, coming from someone who's gotten cartilage piercings at Claire's, in the long run Vaughn Body arts is more affordable, better quality, and safe read more

Vaughn is the goat you can tell he's very knowledgeable and enjoys his profession. He asked me where I got my piercing done and since I got it done all the way in sf I wasn't thinking he'd know the shops there but he totally did, I immediately knew he was a trustworthy piercer. He helped me out with my tongue piercing and alleviated my worries about the possibility of my piercing embedding. Everytime my swelling fluctuated i'd just think "Vaughn said it's okay." and my worries dissapeared . Now my tongue looks way better after he suggested switching to larger balls so the piercing wouldn't keep sinking into my tongue. Fantastic customer service like I got at Vaughn Body Arts is rare so I'm excited to return. Totally check out their website as well. read more

Staff was supper friendly and kind, they show you the whole sterilization process, and give you all the after care information you need. I don't remember the piercers name but I remember my eyes started tearing up and she told me "don't cry, life is beautiful" and I loved that, she was amazing! read more

Just had another fantastic experience at Vaughn Body Arts. My 17 year old daughter wanted second ear piercings and Cody was kind and efficient to put her at ease. Of course, they came out perfect and just how she wanted them. The level of expertise and after care instruction is phenomenal. If you are a parent of a teen wanting to get pierced please consider going with this very professional, clean, and knowledgeable shop, you will not be disappointed! read more

This place is $$$$$ but super worth it especially if you're piercing sensitive areas (.)(.) and want a clean place with knowledgeable staff and a great selection. read more

My first time ever being pierced was last month at Vaughn's, and I couldn't have dreamed of a more safe and welcoming experience. Even without an appointment, when I knocked on the door one day they were super happy to let me in to look at jewelry - thankfully, they had some pretty basic stuff that suited me (not just the higher-end gold on their website!). The person at the jewelry counter was so friendly and happy to chat and answer all my silly nervous first-timer questions, and sat me down and explained all the very basic ins and outs of what it meant to care for a piercing. They made sure I knew how everything was a freshly sterilized one-time use needle, and that the studs were made of a special safe piercing-grade metal. Later, for the actual piercing, my piercer was super lovely also. Highly recommend this place especially for my queer friends - my partner and I were always addressed as "friend" rather than with gendered terms, which is always a bright green flag for me :) If I ever get pierced again, I 100% intend to come back to Vaughn's for the safe feeling and lack of judgment. read more

I needed my belly ring re-pierced after a difficult surgery and everyone at Vaughn's was so kind and helpful! Got some new cute jewelry and I had my belly button blinged back up like nothing ever happened! read more

If you've never been pierced and are looking for a lovely first experience, please consider Vaughn Body Arts. As a first timer, I was recommended here. I'm so glad I followed through! Everything about my experience was lovely. From the time they greeted me at the door, to when I checked out. Their staff is heavily trained in customer service skills and it shows. I was actually shocked at how nice they were. Their staff lets you know what you're getting into, by explaining the steps along the way. The piercer themself was pleasant. I let them know it was my first time getting pierced (apart from my baby self who got her ears pierced, lol) and they were so kind about it! It made the experience less scary as an anxious individual who does not like needles. They even checked if I was happy about the piercing location. They also provided excellent education about after care. This place cares about your piercing healing well. They encourage you to come back for a check up and to make adjustments to the bolt size if needed. Prices vary depending on what you are looking for. They do have some lower end pricing, but most of their beautiful jewelry is expensive due to the quality (gold, titanium, real gemstones etc.). Make sure you plan accordingly. I actually got two piercings done here and I might go back for a third. This is purely a piercing shop, therefore they are meticulous about what they offer. I have read negative reviews on other piercing shops and you won't get a negative experience here. I highly recommend them, you won't regret it. read more

We had a great experience here! My little is very sensitive so I worried when she said she wanted to get her ears pierced. They did such a beautiful job making her (and me!) feel comfortable. Amazing experience. Very nice staff. Everything is super clean. I would definitely recommend to a friend

Went there for my first time today. Everything is really clean and the people are really nice and professional. They sterilized the jewelry and used implant grade titanium, which is a must, specially for healing piercings! And the guy who switched it out for me was really reassuring that my rook is healing ok! I think I've found my piercers! I probably won't go anywhere else unless I absolutely have to read more

The service was phenomenal. I went in June of 23 (I believe) to get a belly button piercing. After a few weeks (maybe days) I went back for a follow up because I was concerned the piercing was too small and it was digging into my skin. I was told it was normal. 8 months later and I'm finally removing it because it was still digging into my skin and didn't heal properly. I was consistent with the cleaning and products used. I'm really disappointed because I am convinced it was too small and I went back and said something and here we are months later. I gave 3 stars because staff was great and I guess I could have gone back and requested a bigger size but I am new to the body piercing game and trusted the piercing pro's judgement. Anyway. I do recommend this place for piercings, just maybe not that lady for navel piercings. Can't remember her name so this probably isn't that useful. Tip: if you think it looks crooked, it is. Your piercing pro might be looking at it from an angle and it's your body so speak up. (My piercing was also off center) Tip #2: go back and pay for the consultation if you feel something is wrong. You can't redo a hole but you could avoid being in my shoes 8 months later. read more

Cody is hands DOWN one of the best piercers I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Everything from the consultation so picking out jewelry (which is difficult because he has so many beautiful choices) was super smooth, and the piercing itself didn't even hurt. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. read more

Wonderful experience for both my friend and I today at Vaughns Body Arts! Atmosphere is relaxing and the entire process is thorough and well explained. A+ Highly recommend coming here for your piercings or just the beautiful jewelry! read more

I took my daughter to get her ears pierced. She was really eager but nervous and Cody and his staff were kind and knowledgeable. From appointment setting, to the piercing itself and after care, they ensured my daughter and I had the materials and instructions to care for her ears. The follow up appointment to swap the end pieces to a smaller size was efficient and my daughter had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this facility for piercings. read more

Overall, such a great experience! I decided to get a double nostril piercing and they were very helpful with choosing the best jewelry that would pair well together. Shay was great and I appreciated that they went over the sterilization process too. Very comfortable studio and I would definitely come back for any other piercings! read more

Vaughn's is truly a wonderful place to get a piercing! I was recommended this place by a few coworkers, as I was looking to get second piercings on my lobes. The second I stepped inside their establishment, I was warmly greeted by the incredibly informative and friendly staff. Not only are they impeccably clean (even showing you a test strip of their sterilizing machine...I'm not sure the specific name for it) but take their time while piercing. I love how the staff was extremely patient and dedicated to their craft. They clearly illustrated the aftercare process, even sending me a file with written instructions in case I forgot. They have a wide array of jewelry to choose from. They also made sure I was confident in the placement of my piercings, which I appreciated. My piercer (I believe her name is Adriana...I will edit and give her credit if I got her name wrong) was super sweet and made sure I was comfortable. The person who greeted me at the register and was going after care details (I apologize, I forgot their name) [edit: Carter] was equally polite and extremely knowledgeable. Overall, a great experience run by equally great people! I will definitely recommend this establishment if I know of anyone else looking to get a piercing. Thank you to everyone here for doing such a wonderful job. :) read more

They did it again! Amazing service smooth process this crew REALLY knows their stuff. Carter is so knowledgeable and made me feel like I was in the right hands. Cody pierced my lobe twice in one go and I couldn't be happier with the placement and visit as a whole. What a great business. Yay! Thank you!!!! read more

I took my 10 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced. It was an awesome experience. Everybody was super friendly and good with kids. Anyone looking to pierce their child's ears, I highly recommend Vaughn Body Arts. My wife and I had the privilege of taking our 5 year old daughter to pierce her ears. Every employee that we dealt with did a phenomenal job making the experience all about our daughter. Any questions and/or explanations went to her. The employees were extremely patient and won't do the piercing unless your child is ready, which we loved. After the first piercing our daughter was obviously traumatized. They allowed her to destress, comforted her, and proceeded with the next piercing when she was ready. Overall great experience and I thank Vaughn Body Art for the professionalism and time. read more

Go, Just go. Even if you decide not to get what you wanted. Go. Because they will educate you, they are keen on perspectives, with finely tuned observation skills, and are the sweetest people. I cannot tell you enough the fear I had for asking too many questions, recommendations, pricing, etc. I never felt as if I was burdensome. My high masking tendencies were lowered and I felt seen. I felt respected. Go, you will not regret it. PS- They even read the notes in my profile about my name change! COME ON Y'ALL! Talk about hearts of BVLA GOLD & NATURAL GEMSTONES! read more

I can't believe I haven't left a review sooner! Vaughn body arts is the best of the best! I had both my philtrum and second lobes pierced by Cody years ago and it was the best piercing experience I've ever had. Cody is super informative, extremely sanitary and very gentle. All 3 piercings healed extremely well with no issues. I just went in yesterday to get the 3rd hole in my lobes pierced and they were done by Shay who was just as awesome! Extremely friendly and easy to talk to, again as sanitary as possible and made the whole process relaxing and easy! They also have an excellent selection of jewelry, I've been wanting new jewelry for my philtrum but have struggled to find something threaded and in rose gold... as soon as I walked in I found exactly what I was looking for! They aren't doing jewelry changeouts for lip piercings, but the person helping me pick out jewelry (totally forgot their name!) talked me through how to change it and it was super easy. They also made sure to go over the cost of everything before even starting the piercing which is awesome so there are no surprises at the end. Overall I highly recommend coming here for all your piercing needs! I drive from San Jose and it is absolutely worth it. read more

Super clean, and professional/kind/helpful staff. Lovely jewelry to choose from. Will certainly visit again when I'm in the area.

Experienced professionals who pierce with integrity- what more can I ask for? I came in wanting either re-pierce or stretch a previously pierced septum. I was treated with kindness, and offered all of the information I needed to make fully informed decisions. For me, it matters who pierced me. A piercing is a trauma and should be done with intention and perhaps a little love. Shea (maybe a spelling issue here) offered me her very best, and I left pain-free and happy. If these professionals won't "give you what you want" it's because what you want falls short of their exceptional standards- listen to them. Trust them. And enjoy. read more

I went to Vaughn Body Arts back in September for my birthday and had a great experience. Now 7 months later my ear lobe piercings are totally healed and I haven't had any infections (I had bad experiences of ear peircing infections from getting them done at Claire's as a kid). But I followed the after care instructions and I've had no problems. Everyone including the front staff was very helpful and kind. Cody was great and kept my nerves at ease as I got my peircings done. I also liked how he talked me through the jewelry sanitizing process. I will definitely go back for my second round of piercings. read more

This place is seriously next level.. have never been to a Piercing Shop this professional and clean. The small hassle to try and get an appointment is well worth it. When you get there, every worker on the floor is dedicated to only you. The process is extremely smooth, they first examine your anatomy, then go over different types of jewelry, aftercare, and payment. The piercing itself was almost painless. Will definitely be coming back! thanks Cody! read more

We just got our 8 year old daughter's ears pierced and had a wonderful experience. Cody Vaughn is professional and will walk you (the parents) and your child through the preparation, execution and cleaning process. They did it twice which was helpful to drive home the requirements to care for your child's new piercings. Even when it came time to do the piercing Cody walked our child through the execution of piercing before doing the actual piercing and said there would be no surprises and that if she wanted to stop the process at anytime then that was perfectly fine. There is no charge if you choose to not go through with the piercing. He was patient and very genuine in all interactions. I highly recommend Vaughn Body Arts to anyone. Thanks again Cody and team! read more

I had an amazing experience! The staff were amazing and I felt informed and cared for through the whole process. I was pierced by Shay and I really enjoyed how she walked me through everything and communicated every step of the way. I also loved the person who helped me pick out jewelry, whose name is escaping me right now but also so kind and was super helpful and patient as well as communicated everything very well. I am a little bit of an anxious person so I tend to be a deer in head lights when people talk to me so this experience made me feel very comfortable! Like is deer in low beam lights! All in all I definitely am thinking of what to pierce next. Thank you so much! read more
