After doing a little bit of research, I decided upon this place to get my second lobe piercings done as it had good reviews but wasn't ridiculously expensive. (I paid $75 for the piercing and jewelry.) I was a little nervous as I don't remember getting my first piercings done since I was a kid at the time. Lisa (and the other gal who was there, wasn't able to catch her name) were both super nice and funny. Lisa guided me to breathe as she was doing the piercings and I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. She made sure to line them up in a way that would look good since my first piercings are the tiniest bit lopsided. In truth, I don't have a lot of experience with piercing studios but I had to get a new hole, since my one from college days closed up. After 18 years my wife finally got me an earring to commemorate our wedding (I work around electricity too much to wear a ring). She commissioned an artist friend in Alaska to create it. We tried another studio, but they weren't wheelchair friendly. Studio 13 had a ramp out back, the folks were very considerate of her and we got to be together the ring was put in. Lisa and Lisa helped her be involved in the process and made sure I was well informed about the process and post-care. Lisa was great! She was fast and kind and if I wasn't such a chicken, I'd get more piercings! I just had a 2nd lobe piercing in both ears and it was about $20, plus tip. She sat me down, marked my ears, asked me to check it out in the mirror so I could see the placement for myself and then she free-handily pushed the needle through (no pierce gun). She has you take a deep breath and doesn't go until she knows your breath is right. A couple tips: 1. Screw back earrings hurt going in because of the threading. 2. Be prepared with your own earrings because you'll want to make sure they stay in the new piercing for a couple months as the piercing heals. 3. Call ahead even though walk-ins are welcome so they can tell you if Lisa is currently there and available. They'll also tell you a good time to swing by. read more

i came here a few months ago to get my septum pierced and decided on a whim to get my belly done as well. the piercer is so sweet and easy to talk to, and she is the FASTEST piercer ever! it's over before you know it. neither hurt, probably because she's so quick and precise, or maybe i have a high tolerance, i'm really not sure. both of the piercings healed quickly and well. i love this piercer so much that i went back yesterday and got my nose and daith pierced by her! just as quick and efficient as the first time, no pain, and she was still as easy to talk to as before. i will never recommend another piercer! she is it. she's the queen of piercing. read more
