In truth, I don't have a lot of experience with piercing studios but I had to get a new hole, since my one from college days closed up. After 18 years my wife finally got me an earring to commemorate our wedding (I work around electricity too much to wear a ring). She commissioned an artist friend in Alaska to create it. We tried another studio, but they weren't wheelchair friendly. Studio 13 had a ramp out back, the folks were very considerate of her and we got to be together the ring was put in. Lisa and Lisa helped her be involved in the process and made sure I was well informed about the process and post-care. After doing a little bit of research, I decided upon this place to get my second lobe piercings done as it had good reviews but wasn't ridiculously expensive. (I paid $75 for the piercing and jewelry.) I was a little nervous as I don't remember getting my first piercings done since I was a kid at the time. Lisa (and the other gal who was there, wasn't able to catch her name) were both super nice and funny. Lisa guided me to breathe as she was doing the piercings and I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. She made sure to line them up in a way that would look good since my first piercings are the tiniest bit lopsided. I got a piercing here on nov 1st I don't use my debit card other than to pay my credit cards & car note. On the 1st, I used my debit card to pay for my piercing. First official purchase after a year It's nov 3rd & I got a notification from my bank that someone was buying things using my debit card. Which leads me to have a big suspicion on this place. called in before coming and asked if there was time for a walk in & they said yes, only thing is there could be zero to a few people before your spot .. doesn't take long for a piercing and I probably waited about 20 minutes with my friend lisa is the piercer there and I ended up getting both of my daith pierced, and i love it ! it costs $45 for one daith & the jewelry I picked out was $20 (jewelry price varies) it is a little pricier here, but there are spots you can get done cheaper for two piercings including the jewelry & mine healed all perfect fine .. here, they charge by one piercing, don't get me wrong, just a heads up ! but lisa did a good job, my friend & i also tipped her (: I would recommend asking how to clean the piercings, how long it would take to heal, & solution if they don't bring it up because it is important if it is your first time getting any piercing .. for me, it wasn't a big deal because I know how to take care of my piercings p.s. its a small shop with small parking in the back read more

Lisa was great! She was fast and kind and if I wasn't such a chicken, I'd get more piercings! I just had a 2nd lobe piercing in both ears and it was about $20, plus tip. She sat me down, marked my ears, asked me to check it out in the mirror so I could see the placement for myself and then she free-handily pushed the needle through (no pierce gun). She has you take a deep breath and doesn't go until she knows your breath is right. A couple tips: 1. Screw back earrings hurt going in because of the threading. 2. Be prepared with your own earrings because you'll want to make sure they stay in the new piercing for a couple months as the piercing heals. 3. Call ahead even though walk-ins are welcome so they can tell you if Lisa is currently there and available. They'll also tell you a good time to swing by. read more

She's done my septum, nostril, two side by side tongue piercings, a dermal, a 12 piece corset piercing, conch, a surface piercing on my wrist, and my daughters lobes twice. Walked in for a consultation that I had already scheduled, and the person had double booked the same time with a piercing. I started to tell him about the idea I had and before I even finished a sentence he just said no I can't do it. I was only asking for script on my forearm. I also tried getting some other ideas on how I could do it since he's supposed to be a tattoo artist but he was all shoulders like it was an impossible task. I was out in less than 3 minutes.
