I walked in to chat with someone about an idea I have to cover up a scar on my leg. I spoke with two of the kindest men working that day and one of them is doing my tattoo in a couple of weeks. His name is X and his work is pretty epic. I'm so excited and can't wait to get started. The other young man I believe is (wizardcleave?) Highly recommend this place of business! The people who work there are incredible. Good energy and totally down to earth. They answer all my questions and thoroughly make sure I understand the process. Sundays they've got Pokémon day and boy, let me tell you, it is AWESOME! It's family friendly too! My 8 year old kiddo joins and they have tables set up and it's just an enjoyable experience for the whole family that day. My child is determined to get her ears pierced and I believe I'll be choosing this establishment for her. It's clean, spacious, and extremely professional. Amazing shop, I stop by about once a week and hang out. Great events, great product, and really killer tattoos.

Great inventory, totally customer-focused. The proprietor X is a great guy, treats everyone with courtesy and respect!

This is a really great comic book store close to the beach I discovered passing through town. Store may look non-descript from the front but it saves it's wonders for once you get inside. Great selection of new arrivals right at the door and newer comics are on display on the wall grabbing your attention. Really great vibe and friendly atmosphere as soon as I walked in. X who was there at the time with friends gave a warm greeting and totally customer forward with out upselling in any way. I perused for a bit and they have a great stock of popular titles, graphic novel collections, and a solid selection for a sleepy beach side community. When I asked about a title they didn't carry, X not only told me about what other local comic book stores might carry it but even gave me a card to one place. I truly appreciate someone who is all about the love of the game and not just out for himself. He was a really great resource in terms of introducing me to titles I was not aware of. Something I like it to do is buy based off the cover that catches my eye. X was great at not only telling me what the story about it was, but also mentioning other titles I might be interested in. Based off my criteria: the place has a great atmosphere and vibe; lots of diverse titles and other comic-adjacent art to inspire; and great folks working the store and cultivating love for the medium. Stopped in recently for the first time of I'm sure many to come. Went in to grab some summer reading for my daughter and was amazed with how welcoming Estevan was with us. In my experience it appears most comic folks aren't too keen on ladies coming into their shops. Estevan was the complete opposite, sharing a bunch of his knowledge with my daughter about different genres and inviting us back to chat or ask questions anytime. And I even got to chat about coming back in for a tattoo for myself. Can't say enough good things about Sacred 8 Studios. read more

I got my tattoo here by X. The whole session was great. Super sterile. He opened everything and placed all of the colors on the tray right in front of me. During the session he went through almost a whole box of gloves. He was changing them constantly. I really appreciated the cleanliness of it all. He's a real cool dude. The last tattoo I got was 10 years so I was a bit nervous. But once we got started everything started to become quiet therapeutic. We had great conversations and he allowed me to take as many breaks as I needed. My tattoo is beautiful and I've already started having plans for another one. Highly recommend this place! read more

Great comics and collectibles. X has my tattoo artist for the last 10 years and has become a great friend. His comic and tattoo shop is honestly an amazing place to check out. There is a great selection of books and X is very knowledgeable on most of the stories and can give some suggestions on good books that you might like.
