It's just a humble hot dog, but it's all about the nostalgia, man. Their concessions are so cheap! I live in the city and I forgot time after time how over priced it is in the city. We got 8 hot dogs, 2 large drinks, and a large popcorn for $33!? Can you believe that! I couldn't. We got a DEAL! Theater is great quality. They have maintained the vintage feel of the liberty theater and it also is a nostalgic feel. Screen quality it great and they show awesome movies. I always love going to Liberty theater.

Movies look great, but I spend them wondering if my ears are really that bad or if this particular copy of the film has a damaged soundtrack. Then I remember that the sound system is at fault, and I wonder how I ended up here. Again. This is the theater on Ft Sill. During the week it is used for meetings and graduation ceremonies. On the weekend it shows second run movies at a reasonable price. Popcorn and candy are available, and most of the seats are not broken. I've never been to an official event in this space, but I'm guessing the only difference is a lack of snacks. Unfortunately, the cost of a movie here is more than I want to pay for the experience. Ticket prices for the first run theaters in Lawton are priced within a dollar, and have better sound. This is the theater closest to my house, but it is my last choice in town.

When we walked in, there was an odor that took me a moment to place. It smelled like vomit. I'm sure it was from spilled drinks, of which there was a bit of. The seats are ok comfortable. I don't think I could sit there for a two and a half hour movie like my husband and nieces did a couple weeks ago, but I handled the hour and forty minute one. The theater seated close to 100, give or take a few. I think that's reasonable. Enough for quite a few to go, but not so crowded or noisy that it's uncomfortable. Where we were parked could not hear the audio very well. My partner and I stood in line for TWO HOURS TO THE MINUTE for a radio, ice cream and popcorn. Time we finally got our order and returned to the vehicle to watch the movie, I saw all of 7 minutes of the movie. Some staff member are very polite and hospitable, other were very rude. I watched a woman argue that her child did not receive the souvenir cup that she ALSO stood in line for TWO hours for. ABSOLUTELY refused to help her in anyway and sent her away.

Half priced on Tuesdays and free showings during certain times of the year AND they have an attached gelato bar that is to die for! This makes it possible for a family to actually go out and do something for an affordable price! Customer service is top notch, popcorn is always buttery and hot, drinks are crisp, and a family run buisness under ownership for almost two decades.

We got to see some great blockbuster movies this past summer when the baby was still a few months old and we didn't have a babysitter yet. When you first drive in, bring cash because it's like a dollar cheaper. I believe the first several rows in front are for nonsmoking. You can tune your radio to the station but before the movie starts (at sunset) they play some golden oldies. We tried the drive in with the suv backed in and laid blankets down with some fold up chairs. I think my husband got it right when we took the truck and backed in and set the fold up chairs... Sitting up higher gives you a better viewing of the screen. We went and bought a hand held radio with batteries. Some people stay in the car with the engine running.... But we have seen several cars battery die. They have a very strict rule of no outside food. Some people really complain about that and try to sneak it in. But it's a family run drive in, they probably don't make a lot of money from ticket sales....so not sure why people try to beat the system. Their menu items aren't that bad. It's better and bigger than a regular theater. Chili hotdogs to rootbeer floats. It's always gonna be a two for one showing. Some people don't stay for the second movie so during the 'intermission' people will drive off. It's a great time to get a better spot if you came in late and got a crappy spot. Is it the best cinematic experience? No, but it's a fun switch up for the kids, and an awesome way for new parents to still get to see movies out of the house. Sidenote: Summer's can be hot and lots of mosquitos. Definitely invest in bug spray!!!

We decided tonight to get out enjoy a nice movie under the stars. Our son graduates High School tomrw and we wanted to celebrate with The Mandalorian Movie. First off, the only person who can eat anything they have is my husband. We paid for storm trooper popcorn buckets and didn't even want the popcorn and asked for them not to be filled so the kids could have them to keep as keepsakes for their rooms. We bought the souvenir cup and the one we ended up with grogu was misfiguted. My son took it back in they told him they can take it back. I get that, they could have made it right. We spent $36 to get in and over $70 on the two buckets, two souvenir cups, and a large popcorn bucket for my husband and his dip n dots. I do not know when the quality of the screen and picture got so terrible. We were in the front row and could not make out the characters in the movie. It was extremely dark. My husband went as far as finding a trailer and fast fed to part we were at and the picture was so colorful, yet chiefs was dark and hard to see. One character is red and you could even tell. We ended up leaving 40 mins in bc we were so miserable and couldn't tell what we were watching. Between fuel coming all the way over and concession, we had $200 in this night for graduation and nothing sadly to show for it.The screen and quality needs an overhaul.
