Donations were welcome. The displays were gorgeous... you must be up for reading. I read fast! Because it is a smaller museum, I would plan for about an hour visit. Less if you read fast. Comanche words were scattered everywhere, tying in with authentic Comanche art, artifacts, or collections... a few of which photos were not allowed. One of my softball coaches from college was/is Comanche. I still keep up with her on Facebook and her involvement with The Comanche Nation. The Comanche Code Talkers of World War II will never be forgotten! They were amazingly resilient... "their codes were never broken!" Loved all of the local artists pieces. Plus my kid and I got to try on a buffalo robe. Very kind woman at the check-in area on 7.26.2025. Clean women's restrooms!

I thought we be there about a half hour and it was more like 1.5hours. There is so much to see, so much nostalgia from my childhood, soany toys I had forgotten about...it was great. The Hall of Fame is perfect for special events, receptions, parties and even school field trips. There are often free admission days during the summer so you can pack up the kids and show them all the amazing people that come from our great state - the motto is "Telling Oklahoma's Story Through Its People". We attended a sold out event for Oklahoma Craft Breweries and the event took place on the 4th floor. It was comfortable and modern, but also felt sold out...it was really crowded and lots of folks mingling and standing around. We wanted to try at least one sip from each of the exhibitors, but the constant dodging shoulders and excuse-me's kinda seem not worth it. I would say this event was a huge success and could either be split over two floors or held in a larger space. The catering was great and featured a wide assortment of small bites from chicken and waffles to bbq pork sliders and mini hot dogs.

They clearly value faith, connection, and relationships-- which I absolutely love! They even have an entire lobby and breakfast area with Christian books, movies, and snacks. There were a few things that made our trip a little less comfortable. First, we tried to contact the owners multiple times and never received a response back. They have signs posted saying that guests should feel welcome to reach out via text anytime, but every time we did... we heard nothing. The thing that I am having difficulty getting past was a stain on the comforter of the bed... there was a clear blood stain on the quilt, which made us feel uneasy. We texted the owner asking where we could find extra blankets, since we didn't want to use the comforter, and didn't receive a response back... This made me question the cleanliness of where we were staying. To be fair though, everything else seemed clean! I write this to be constructive and truthful. I'm not sure that we would stay here again, but I can tell many people value and cherish La Ville inn, including the sweet couple we met in the lobby during our stay.
