We decided to try Tri Shuttle after seeing the positive reviews, and we were glad we did! Unlike Uber, this is a small business, and so it's much easier to be in direct contact with your driver. Tien was our driver both ways. He was friendly, prompt, and a good driver. He texted to confirm our pickups both times, and when we were coming back, he had tracked our flight so he was ready to pick us up at the curb. Getting a rideshare pickup at the airport can be a big hassle, and you usually have to go to a separate area. Then you have to wait for your ride, which your driver may cancel for whatever reason. But with Tri Shuttle, you get picked up in Arrivals as if you're having a friend or family member pick you up. Their customer service and professionalism were excellent (if you use rideshare, you know those qualities can be REALLY hit-or-miss), giving us more peace of mind to enjoy our trip. Would certainly use again!

We booked 3 weeks in advance and paid in advance. They have no ability to solve the problem but keep asking us to understand their situation. Why do we pay for all these ridiculous nonsense. For our roundtrip airport transport, we confirmed twice over the phone that we needed a rear-facing car seat and a vehicle that could fit five passengers with luggage. The driver showed up without the correct car seat, and the car was too small for our bags. When we brought this up, we were told the driver "forgot." This created a stressful and unsafe ride for our baby. On our return ride, the same driver was over 20 minutes late, joked on the phone that "no one's coming," and when we asked for an ETA, gave no clear answer. When my elderly father expressed frustration, the driver threatened to leave us at the airport. This was deeply unsettling--especially since the driver knew our home address. After the trip, I spoke with Rich (the manager), who acknowledged both incidents were unacceptable and promised a refund and a free ride to make it right. Neither happened. It's not about the money--it's the principle. The broken promises and continued lack of follow-through make me feel we were lied to just to de-escalate the situation. I don't take writing negative reviews lightly, but this experience was unacceptable. This company may have good ratings, but if something goes wrong, you're on your own. I would not trust them again--especially if you're traveling with children.

Otherwise, his driving was a little scary; we were picked up not super early in the morning (between 9-11am), but he looked like he was struggling and swerved 2-3 times to stay in his lane. The van was also pretty filthy on the inside; there were nut shells on the floor and didn't seemed it was cleaned for several weeks. I would not recommend especially if your family has any food or pet allergies.

But a few weeks ago we reserved a ride to the airport, and after confirming the night before, we were ghosted the morning of. He was a no show and no response the morning of at 5 am as we scrambled to get an Uber at 5:30 and had to grab our car seat last minute to lug around Asia for three weeks. To this day I never received response. I needed fool proof , reliable transport in Los Angeles for traveling from the airport to Monterey Park , then from Monterey Park to San Pedro cruise terminal .
