I always wanted to go to a place like Tahiti to see and enjoy the culture and the atmosphere. With so many options to choose from on the planning and execution of that plan, it should be easy and not rocket science. You can book everything yourself and be ok. However if there is a business that can book it all why not use it. So I did use this website. So here's my story. I booked everything as in flight and accommodation for the Over water Suite in Tahiti. Joe Medina was on point!!!! On the first day out of LAX the airline's plane had a maintenance issue to the point we couldn't take off. They put us up in the Sheraton at Terminal 4 at LAX. They gave us food vouchers to get us through the delay. Here's the issue we had. The Overwater Suite was booked already and this delay would have us arriving 1 day later. He's what I didn't know until chatting with Joe. I thought they could put the missing day on the back end of our stay, it doesn't work like that. So we station get flights of on our own because this was a trip of a lifetime!!! We were able to get a flight out of SFO same day. Here's our problem, the accommodation we're not fixed on, nor the transport set up to get us to the Island. That's when I contacted Joe Medina from Tahiti.com, he fixed it all!!! To include the additional day missed from the travel delay. I also wanted to do something special while there, like a snorkeling adventure, Joe set that up!!! He also got us a refund from the airline tickets and set up new flights to get us back home. I can't speak for others and how their experiences went but this is my story. Btw Joe made this happen while I used my phone through emails!!! In my book Joe Medina is awesome!!! If anyone asks me where I would go or recommend them for a trip to Tahiti I would say this site helped me achieve another trip of a lifetime!!! So try you may just like it. read more

My wife and I booked two weeks with Tahiti.com to mark our 40th anniversary and couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. While we normally book our overseas travel wholly by ourselves, we opted for assistance in French Polynesia to help with the puddle jumpers, ferries, and water taxi transfers. Lisa Corso worked closely with us and catered to our preferences and needs. For example, while we're past the age of truly enjoying the bumps of an ATV mountain tour, she instead recommended a 4x4 tour of Moorea with a driver. We shared the experience with several other couples, and it ended up being a fantastic daylong outing. Also, snorkeling-with-whales adventure was a magical vacation experience. When we ran into an issue -- namely, being charged for a hotel dinner that should have been included -- we sent a quick text to Lisa, and she and her team worked with the hotel immediately to have it removed from our bill. Finally, Lisa was super-helpful in getting us to quieter venues that didn't cater to large cruise ships. In turn, we traded a stay in Bora Bora for additional days in the Le Taha'a resort -- one of the most impressive spa resorts where we've stayed. We ended up appreciating the recommendation more than I could have imagined. read more

Candice helped us plan our honeymoon for Moorea and Bora Bora. She was such a knowledgeable person and gave us the best tips and ideas on where to go and stay. She was very responsive and helped us every step of the way. This was our first time using some sort of travel agency to book a trip for us and it was a great experience. Definitely use them and ask for Candice!! read more

BUYER BEWARE: Don't fall for the lower rates. They will make you sign a waiver saying all services / excursions are "at their discretion" so there is no compensation and they can remove anything from your package at will. They will gleefully point to that fine print if you try to submit a complaint. Honestly, I'm just incredibly saddened and disappointed. We booked our wedding in Bora Bora with them. The representatives will mess up your travel plans and take zero responsibility. Lisa Corso and Jeanine Gresham Cater were not only unapologetic, but were actually violently defensive and "wholly rejected" any accountability. We've receive no offer of anything to try to make this right. The level of service they advertise and how they actually treat you once they have your money should be considered fraud. Tahiti.com booked us on a "large boat transfer" and instead a local fisherman showed up in 5 person motorboat. (See pic.) Locals, even the hotel staff, warned us not to get on the boat as it wasn't built for open sea. Luckily, we heeded their warning, but one person from our party stayed. Later, she reported back that everyone was severely injured, including herself needing a tailbone x ray at the hospital. (See chat transcript) Even before the boat transfer debacle, Tahiti.com paired us with a wedding planner Nolwenn at Le Bora Bora who was absolutely incompetent, dishonest and kept botching our wedding day plans. She eventually had to be escalated to management and reprimanded. The issues continued throughout our entire stay even culminating in a travel emergency on our last day, where Tahiti.com reps repeatedly put us in real danger sending us on a wild goose chase through the local towns, and repeatedly having us meet and pay off local vendors (fishermen for boats! Unmarked cars as "cabs"! The fisherman's wife!) in cash from ATMs. Eventually, we gave up, returned to the hotel and paid thousands of dollars for extra nights at the hotel because of their incompetence. We've tried sending countless emails, texts, calls. This was our WEDDING. It was supposed to be the best time of our lives. They don't care. Protect yourself. Read fine print. Book elsewhere. read more

We had an incredible experience booking our trip through Tahiti.com. Although my husband and I travel often, this was our first time using a travel agent--and I'm so glad we did. I was initially hesitant, but Candice at Tahiti.com went above and beyond to ensure our first visit to French Polynesia was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we started planning to the day we returned home, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The hotels were stunning, the tours and activities were perfectly curated, and best of all, the mental load of organizing everything was completely taken off our shoulders. It was one of the most seamless and memorable trips we've ever had. read more

All we can say is Wow! We nearly gave up on our dream trip after another well known travel agency couldn't make it happen within our budget and wasn't listening when we gave them input as to what we wanted to experience. We found Lisa as a last resort searching Yelp. Literally one quick call and she laid out a vacation with EVERYTHING we wanted AND within our budget. The booking was absolutely effortless. The trip exceeded our expectations! Not once was a transfer late getting us where we needed to be, the two resorts were intimate, top class service and food. The excursion we booked was also fantastic to get to see Moorea and experience local culture. Lisa and Tahiti.com know the islands inside out. We will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you Lisa and the team at Tahiti.com for making our dream come true! read more

This agency is abhorrent. My wife and I booked our wedding trip to Bora Bora through them and were left with incomplete services and put in extremely dangerous situations as a direct result of their negligence. We spent over $20,000 on our 6 night trip and wedding package for just the two of us. Tahiti.com and their agent's placed us in precarious situations asking us to withdraw hundreds of dollars of cash from ATMs and pay local fishermen to take us 90 miles by a small fishing boat with no life jackets or vests across dangerous and rough seas with waves of 6.5 feet on a trip that would last hours. My wife and I had to turn down the boat trip once we saw it as my wife has health conditions that make it impossible to take on this type of travel. Additionally, certain parts of our package were not received and we had to get involved every step of the way with vendors for months (something Tahiti.com should've handled entirely) and even then we still received subpar service and did not get the wedding we paid for. After all of this, their management refuses to provide any compensation for thousands of dollars being spent in addition to the $20K package fee as a direct result of their negligence. STAY AWAY from these folks and stay away from French Polynesia in general. While the water is truly beautiful, the food, level of service, attitude, and overall experience left us wishing we had gone elsewhere and we will never go back. If you want a romantic getaway/wedding/anniversary trip, don't go here and book with these folks as it will be a TRIP from HELL! read more

5/1/24 - My husband and I just returned from a 25 Yr Anniversary trip to Tahiti/Bora Bora/Moorea using Tahiti.com. I typically do research and book my own trips but given this is a very remote location we decided to use the advice of a professional travel agency (Tahiti.com.) My expectations were that Tahiti.com would provide: o Recommended best practices on hotels, locations, tours, etc. o Red flags based on the type of trip and expectations being set. o Logistics experience. o Responsiveness if a problem should arise. What I experienced was far different. Tahiti.com designed a trip with a 3-night stay in Moorea and 4-night stay in Bora Bora. There was absolutely no indication that the place in Moorea that was recommended to us was old, in disrepair and unclean (including urine stains on the sheets.) When I told them what happened their on the ground person was great. However, the person we had been working with at Tahiti.com didn't even respond till the next afternoon. By that time we had left the island, had booked a place on bora bora and were out of the situation. Then when I explained the situation to the Manager at Tahiti.com she took no ownership. She passed on the refund from the hotel who had already agreed to provide me. She did nothing but deflected. I would NOT recommend this Tahiti.com. Save Your Money and do it Yourself or use a travel agency that provides the value add You deserve. read more

We went through Tahiti.com to plan our honeymoon vacation and I must say that I was impressed. The only thing that I did notice is that not many people stay on one island the entire time. I've read about people doing a multi-destination trip after I returned and was pretty bummed out about that. They failed to mention to me that you could do a couple of nights on one island and a mother couple of nights somewhere nearby (less than 1hr. away) I would have loved to visit Bora Bora or another island but that was never mentioned. We visited the island of Moorea and with the island on lockdown due to the pandemic; being restricted to the resort got boring fast. I would use Tahiti.com again but under better circumstances since all of our excursions were canceled. A note to Tahiti.com, ask potential customers if they would like to do a multi-destination trip. Also, the US dollar is weak in the French Polynesia so be prepared to buy a $30 bottle of alcohol for double the price. read more

I had the an amazing experience with Tahiti.com, specifically Ms. Candice Webster. I had already booked a vacation through another service, however it wasn't for the dates I wanted because, of course, sometimes I think the world revolves around my schedule. Just kidding, in truth, I didn't realize the month I wanted would book as quickly as it did. So I had already paid a down payment on my current booking when I got an email from Candice with a really great Tahiti-bora bora package--for my desired dates. I contacted her quickly, and she worked with me and my incessant bugging to put together a trip I..I mean my husband and I...would be happy with. She even let me request a specific bungalow!!! She gave me lots of helpful information, even without having to ask, and was an all around joy to deal with. If I ever win the lottery and get the opportunity to soak up some more Tahitian sun, I'd only book it with these lovely people. read more

I just returned from 10 days to Papeete and Bora Bora with my 6' tall, 15 year old grandson and 22 year old granddaughter. Candice was our travel agent and we were not at all satisfied with the lack of service. She did say, and we understood we were booking late in the season, but never did we have a room(s) with separate beds for the 3 of us, despite that being our request. Further, the first hotel had a sofa which we pulled out to make a bed and the mattress was filthy. Despite checking in before 8 PM, we did not have a clean mattress or linen for the couch until after 10:30 PM. Both grandchildren are certified scuba divers and active snorkelers. My granddaughter wrote a specific email to Candice prior to the trip asking if snorkeling gear would be available at the hotels as we like to travel light. Her response was that she recommended bringing own equipment but that gear would be available at the hotel. Not true for first hotel; kids had to walk 2 mi into town and purchase gear at single store that carried gear (and fins were way too large). Last summer our holiday was at the Fairmont on the Maldives - the Customer Service and accommodations there were incredible as opposed to this holiday in Tahiti. read more

Just got back from our wonderful 7 day dream vacation on the island of Moorea. Thank you soooo much to Nate at Tahiti.com for planning all of the details after I let him know what kind of trip we wanted. It could not have been more wonderful! We stayed at an overwater bungalow at the Hotel Sofitel, and loved it! The excursions, ATV tour, snorkeling with manta rays and sunset dinner at Moorea Beach cafe gave us just enough to do on a very relaxing trip. Every detail from transfers to transportations was planned for us by Nate so we didn't have to do a thing besides show up! We are already trying to figure out how soon we can go back and will definitely use Tahiti.com when we do. Thank you again for a magical experience! read more

I was looking for a site to book our honeymoon and my coworker highly recommended this company. They used them for a few of their family vacations. So I decided to check them out and ask for information and a quote. I think they got back to me that same day if not at least within 24hrs. Candice has been my contact and has been a pleasure to work with so far. I'm not a phone person at all, but she is very quick on the responses and quotes via email. We haven't booked them just yet, but so far it's been a good experience working with them. :) I'll update if we decide to go with them. read more

We used Tahiti.com because they specialize in Tahiti. Amalia was wonderful. She gave us all the information we could want, good itinerary and a great price. She's got great multi-island and Bora Bora packages but we opted for two weeks in Moorea so we could focus on water activities, not moving around. We're so glad we did. We adored Manava Beach Resort, the boutique hotel Tahiti.com found for us. We stayed in an Over-Water Bungalow (OWB) and used the free kayaks on six different days. We were delighted with the warm staff, the gorgeous bungalow w. terrific AC, the most fantastic breakfast buffet (such variety), two short but lovely beaches, and the location: walking distance to town, shops, Bordeaux and baguettes. The mountains behind Manava Resort are so fabulous that we got an eastern "J" OWB; bungalows #411-416 have wonderful mountain views and shade, which helps when it's 85-90 F. Amalia got us great connections for air and ground transport. Air Tahiti Nui was lovely, served both dinner and breakfast on both flights round trip from LAX to F'a'a'a Airport on Tahiti island. Then we took the scenic 40 minute Aremiti Ferry 2 to Moorea island. Aremiti's restaurant is good; great AC, rooftop view the best. On Day 1 we arrived at Manava Resort at about 10 am and enjoyed a tour of the stunning property, a rest gazing out the lobby's panoramic ocean-view windows, free use of a day room to change, and a dip in the pool. Then our room was ready at 1 pm. On Day 2 we took a "Lagoon boat tour" to get an overview of Moorea; great idea. Mako Blue Lagoon aka Hiro's Picnic Tour was fantastic: https://www.facebook.com/Hiros-Picnic-Tour-1580552082157481 We were so glad we chose Hiro's out of a dozen Lagoon tours. Our boat had only 12 people; the better-known boats were mobbed with 40. The trip through Cook & Opunohu Bays was stunning and informative, the shark & ray feeding was over the top, the snorkeling off Motu Fareone (western-most of the two off-shore islets) was good, BBQ lunch the most delicious fish and chicken grill ever. Mako made pareos (sarongs) for us by hand. We loved the Motu islets so much, 2 days later we took a taxi to Tip Nautic boat rentals on Les Tipaniers Hotel beach, rented a motor launch, then snorkeled and puttered around the Motus all day again. We landed at Motu Coco Beach Cafe on Motu Moea (eastern-most islet) (have hotel make cafe reservations 2 days before) and had a fantastic fish grill lunch with our feet practically in the water. We waded around in the shallows where people were partying off their boats, then motored back and watched the sunset from the long dock at Tip Nautic. This went on every day for 13 days! Every day at Manava Resort we had a beautiful sunrise, a beautiful sunset, and if it rained, a beautiful rainbow (see photo below). Thank you, Amalia and Tahiti.com; we're recommending you to all our family and friends! read more

Amalia at tahiti.com helped us have our dream honeymoon! I've never used a travel agent before, but it this case I'm so grateful we did! Everything Amalia arranged for us worked out perfectly - or even better than promised. We stayed on three islands, and it took all the travel stress away to have someone waiting for us to pick us up and whisk us away to our next transfer or hotel. We got lovely honeymoon perks from the hotels, like flower crowns on our arrival and a bottle of champagne in our rooms, but Amalia also added special perks just from Tahiti.com, that were great. The best one was a fancy, three course dinner in the privacy of our overwater bungalow porch, with a private server and a flower extravaganza. It was so special! Amalia is lovely, and was also wonderful to work with during the planning stage. She was very patient since we asked her to give us a lot of different itinerary options and kept changing our minds. She was also very responsive and quick to get back to me with answers to my questions. We got the perfect honeymoon of our dreams, and I would highly recommend Tahiti.com and Amalia! read more

Amalia was a wonderful help with planning our honeymoon/family moon haha! My husband and I have always wanted to visit the French Polynesian islands. Thanks to Amalia and the wonderful deals at Tahiti.com- we leave in just a few weeks! My review is solely based on the customer service and the seamless process. I do not think I could of handled our itinerary after a wedding. I changed my mind at least 20 times and Amalia was always very helpful and gave us the best tips. The trip was originally supposed to be only my husband and I. However, once we learned that kids fly free- we decided to bring our 4 year old son along! For two years in a row, I've booked trips to Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Mo'orea through Tahiti.com, and they've been amazing and smooth experiences. Nate was patient and thorough, helped design a package and itinerary, and set me up with small (but delightful) perks via the website. Yes, you can book somewhere else, but are you liable to get spa credits and bar credits? Unlikely. Documents were clear and easy-to-follow, and every location was familiar with our booking. We booked our Tahiti trip with Nathan. He was very responsive and helpful. Everything was discussed quickly over email, with him replying within a day. Thanks to Nathan's arrangements, all these went smoothly and there were people picking us up and guiding us at every transfer location. Everything also went perfectly at the hotel with our booking. Nate helped me plan out my honeymoon. 12 days, 3 islands. He made it very easy for me by doing much of the coordination. His responses were very timely. Nate gave very good advice about traveling there so I felt like I made the most of my time. I really did feel Tahiti.com did deliver the experience and travel. We did not have to worry about inter-island travel coordination because there were already representatives waiting to pick us up. It seems like wherever we went, all of the vendors/staff knew what we arrived for. I also loved that activities were already included so I felt like it really immersed us into the local life there. We had an absolutely incredible time and we are so glad we booked with Tahiti.com! The perks we got were invaluable, especially the included breakfast and dinner in Bora Bora. That saved us hundreds if not thousands of dollars and the food was superb. Nate's help in planning our trip was incredibly valuable. We definitely feel like the room types and the time spent in each and the order we traveled in was absolutely perfect. In Moorea we loved our plunge pool and the resort was awesome. Being able to walk to visit dolphins and sea turtles was so special. We loved our daily breakfast looking over the infinity pools and the lagoon. We took advantage of the paddle boards on offer and we also booked some great activities. We rented a tiny "car" (it was more like a buggy) and drove around the island and up to Belvedere. We booked a clear kayak tour where we paddled around the island on a private tour visited a motu and drank passionfruit and coconut rum while we watched the sunset. We had many opportunities to feed and pet sting rays and snorkel with sharks and every type of fish you can imagine. We took a dolphin tour as well and got to see all kinds of sea life including hundreds of wild spinner dolphins. We also used our Tahiti.com spa voucher for a couples treatment that included the best massages my husband and I have ever received. We both agreed, they were unbelievable. Our transfer to Bora Bora went smoothly. We boarded our flight which stopped off at one other Island then finally arrived at the Bora Bora airport and then we got on the boat to The Intercontinental Thalasso. We were so sad to leave Moorea, my husband and I were both so impressed by the resort there but when we got to Thalasso, we were totally blown away. Every interaction we had with staff there was above and beyond. From the moment we arrived we felt so special. The resort was more beautiful than either of us imagined and our room was truly heaven on earth. I would live there forever if I could and I would go back in a heartbeat. The water was so perfect, the weather was excellent, it only really rained once and it was as we were leaving on our last day! We were very impressed by the dinners at Thalasso. We enjoyed every meal we had there but the most impressive was definitely the Tahitian Buffet and show. I was so thrilled to hear that the cost was included in our half board! I have been to shows and buffets on other vacations but this one was the best I have experienced. The variety and quality of the food was stellar and the dance and music were so entertaining and energetic. In Bora Bora we went on several tours and excursions but I think the highlight for both myself and my husband was getting tattoos from Marama on our second to last day. We now have permanent daily reminders of how wonderful and romantic our honeymoon was. read more

Tahiti.com was such a pleasant surprise. My wife and I just took our honeymoon with nearly everything booked through the site. It was great, Nate Ricketts helped us every step of the way with information about each stop, detailed information about flights, hotels and day trips. We stayed on Moorea, Huahine and Bora Bora. Each island was a bit different and great in its own distinct way. We went on a snorkel adventure on each island, all booked with Nate through Tahiti.com. Every one was an amazing experience! Our tour guides were fun and knowledgable, going above and beyond to make our experience unique. We stayed at the Intercontinental in Moorea, Maitai Lapita in Huahine and Sofitel Private Island in Bora Bora, each spot was unique and totally lived up to expectations. As I mentioned, Nate helped us with everything. Our flights, hotels and several trips were booked through the site, but really great part was not having to worry about transfers. They scheduled for us to be picked up from the airport and every step of the way until we were heading back to the airport in Tahiti two weeks later. Such a great experience. I had a great experience with this travel agent. Booked 10 nights and my wedding through them. Amelia helped me decide which islands would be good based on our interests, dietary restrictions and the beat resort to have the wedding ceremony at on my budget. We were able to make payments over a ten month period which was great. I was able to upgrade parts of the package later on. I went back and forth with her over 100 emails during the course of the months leading up to the trip. Every detail was taken care of for us. I normally schedule everything on my own when we travel but this was just to many connections and not knowing the area I figured it best left to a travel agent. They actually saved us money by knowing which resorts had deals going on like buy 4 nights get a fifth free so they put us in two different resorts on two different islands and we were able to stay ten nights instead of eight for the same price. When my husbands drone got taken at customer the representative Tahiti.com had there to greet us at the airport with flowers quickly changed the ferry tickets and had someone take him to the town hall to obtain permission to bring it into the country (if you are bringing a drone pack it in your suitcase, they only stopped us because they saw him physically carrying it). We did 5 nights in Moorea and 5 nights in Bora Bora and everything that was promised in our itinerary was just as we expected. We worked with Candice and she was great to work with. Between all of the flights, transfers and excursions everything was perfect and my wife and I had an excellent time. We even had time to relax in the spa in both locations which was a nice touch. I highly recommend using Tahiti.com for booking your trip to this part of the world. read more

My wife and I just got back from a wonderful trip to Raiatea, Tahaa, and Bora Bora that we booked through Tahiti.com. Our trip included a yacht charter and a stay at the Intercontinental Thalasso hotel in Bora Bora, with lots of planned activities at the hotel. The whole experience was hassle-free and perfectly suited to the way we like to travel. Many thanks to Carrie for her advice, instructions, and for putting it all together! read more

Terribly disappointed. For weeks I had been working with Tahiti.com on quotes for a trip to Moorea. The help I received was fantastic at first. I was being helped by Amalia and sadly I never heard back from her after weeks of communicating. I sent multiple emails and never received a reply. After my third attempt to get a hold of her, I finally gave up. Very disappointing service. read more

Purchased a Bora Bora package after comparing with AAA and Costco. Definitely will be doing repeat business here! Nathan Ricketts, was very helpful. There was one excursion that was canceled due to weather conditions, by the time we got back, Nathan had already emailed me a refund credit! Never seen that before... keep up the good work! read more
