First, the design questionnaire was excellent - especially for someone like me who doesn't know much about interior design. It was able to identify my design preferences by showing different living rooms and asking which ones were to my liking. In addition, its questions served as a great preparation for the home visit, so Stephanie came well prepared for our meeting. Stephanie was very creative, professional, and helpful throughout the process. When she visited my place, we decided on a design together, in an efficient process, where she was able to translate my needs and preferences to interior design decisions and furniture choices. After two weeks, she assembled a furniture shopping list, within the budget I requested. I purchased all items she suggested. The furniture items were sourced from many furniture stores and I felt she did an excellent job finding items that were beautiful, fit the overall design, and reasonably priced. I get nothing but compliments about my place (even from my Architect friend who is quite stingy with design related complements...). Well done Stephanie! As to the cost-effectiveness of the service - had I done this process myself (even with friends help), I would have surely spent more time, more money, getting worse results. Finally, the service was well structured and transparent. Good stuff overall.

She transformed the Studio 300 sq ft to have distinct living, dining, sleeping, and working spaces. She tamed the chaos and created a tranquil space employing textures, artwork, storage, and layout. Our daughter and her puppy love their place. We found the perfect BPC 2 bedroom and needing it move in ready in just 4 weeks, she created a livable contemporary design with custom artwork, sourcing new furnishings, which we never would have picked ourselves, but love, and coordinated all painters and any contractors. On move in day, we filled the pantry, hung our clothes and just started living. What a treat to not have had to worry and just enjoy our new place. Plus, I didn't have the first clue about plants - which ones "play" nicely together given our north facing space, and to add a layer of complication, which ones were pet safe for our three dogs who like to sample plants on a daily basis. We hired A Small Green Space for both the design and installation of our space. Emma was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She really took the time to take our needs, lifestyle, and design aesthetic into consideration when she created our outdoor garden (no easy task given the awkward layout of the space, windy conditions, and my need for outdoor art). She really takes the "living" room concept seriously as her designs are both beautiful and comfortable. Emma and her team have now planted our garden for three years in a row. Every year, it's something different. And every year, it's breathtaking. Being able to kick back in her beautifully designed space - with all its layers of colors, textures and scents - is our family's sanctuary from the stresses of the day. Can't wait till Spring!

When I questioned whether my primary bedroom's walk-in closet was included, they told me it was a separate design space. In the same response, they emphasized that my designer had made "exceptions" by helping with a bathroom paint color and a living room bookcase. As a paying client, I found that response dismissive. I expected my concerns to be addressed professionally, without having assistance characterized as favors. They also informed me that my designer's involvement had officially ended and that she would no longer be available for project correspondence. Although they offered to answer questions through their support team, this left me feeling unsupported after a significant investment. I expect Decorilla to follow through on every purchase I made through them and help resolve any delivery issues. Based on my experience, I would advise prospective clients to get clear written details about what each room package includes and what support continues after the design is declared complete.

She transformed my living room, bedroom, and balcony into vibrant, elegant spaces that now feel both stylish and personal. From the start, Eva took the time to understand my vision for each room. She then created beautiful design boards that pulled from a mix of sources (Article, West Elm, and others), presenting options that were bright, colorful, and sophisticated. Her taste is impeccable. What really sets Eva apart, though, is how seamless and stress-free she makes the process. She gave incredible individual attention, managed all the small details--ordering everything on my behalf, sending receipts, coordinating delivery--and even found contractors to help with installation. I felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Eva is a true professional with an incredible eye and a warm, collaborative approach. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Working with Alicia, the lead designer of Broooklinteriors made my life easier and way more…read morebeautiful! I found Brooklinteriors on instagram and was originally struck by how, unlike many designers, Alicia did not adhere to a single style across all her projects, but really understood the style of each client. I checked a bunch of her references (because I was very nervous about finding someone on social media!) and they all said the same thing: you get so much more than what you're paying for when you work with Brooklinteriors. I have found that to be true a hundred times over. Alicia helped us put the finishing touches on our home renovation project--sourcing and positioning cabinet pulls, fixing lighting problems, and designing and upholstering a window seat cushion. Then we moved on the furnishings--the fun part. After creating a inspiration board, Alicia researched and presented me with many options for dining tables, couches, chairs, and more. I was struck by all the interesting, often local, and affordable companies she sourced pieces from--pillows from two sisters who are based in my neighborhood, a USA made leather ottoman with a cool table that nests on top-- she introduced me to so many brands and craftsmen that I had never heard of! She found gorgeous art and accessories made by artists that we are very happy to showcase in our home. Alicia managed the ordering, schedule, and even a couple tricky returns/refunds for everything we picked. She is meticulous and her attention to detail throughout the entire process was super-human! Throughout the project, she was respectful of our budget--never suggesting or pushing anything outrageous and often finding pieces that were priced lower than I anticipated paying. She was also very open to feedback, if a piece wasn't quite right, she wasn't married to it, and would quickly find new options for that space. The overall effect is a home that truly represents our lifestyle and aesthetic, but with more unique and interesting elements than we could have designed on our own. I'm eager to do another part of my house so Alicia can work with us again. That being said, she never really stops working on a project--she thinks of me often for little additions (like art) that we may want to add to the space and pops by whenever I have questions about what to do next. I started working with Alicia at a time when our lives were pretty chaotic--I was starting my own business and moving into a new home, among other things--it was so nice to have Alicia leading the design. She made my life SO MUCH EASIER and besides that, she's just a lovely human being to have around.
