There were so many different activities and places for the kids to play imaginatively. From the Burde blind to the stump jump in the massive treehouse with the hidden swings underneath, it is a child's dream playground. I can't wait to keep him back here and discover all the little things. We enjoyed seeing the animal ambassadors, especially Blue the turkey and it was a really good lesson to my kids about not domesticating wild animals. I wish it was easier to see some of the animals and some of them are mislabeled, especially on the side by the playground. Special tip; if you have a library card, the Howell nature center has a free pass with the Michigan activity pass. You can reserve for up to four people in your family. This is an absolutely amazing deal and we had a blast. Additional tip- pack a sack lunch and enjoy the picnic tables up at the steep hill by the fox and the deer. It's very peaceful and scenic and a wonderful place for the kids to run around safely, see the animals, and have a nice picnic lunch in the semi shade.

To understand why I went there I was actually pretty good it's just I just use tobacco and Mild disrespect. which I wouldn't think it's that bad. Mid-course Corrections is basically a legal way to abuse your child your kid will get hurt and some way if that guy broke his arm there and had to be sent home I see with my own eyes. your kid will get mentally scarred and verbally abused and physically abused if you want your child to get hurt abused have nightmares after 2 weeks after it then I think it's a great place to send them I'm being sarcastic you don't want your kid to be hurt abused or any kind of discomfort you go to bed at 2 a.m. and wake up at 4:30 I mean seriously .Sleep deprivation and constant pain I was sore so bad took me a week to recover I couldn't even stand up out of my chair after it I had to get assistance with my parents just to get out of my chair. if you love your child and you want your child back get a psychologist to help them understand why are they doing that instead of yelling at them it's a lot cheaper. If your child has to get sent back there they have to wear a backpack full of lead it's at least 50 lb I never wore the backpack but this one kid had it was sleep with it and go wherever he went I feel bad I feel so bad for him. in conclusion don't send your kid here if you wanted to get hurt cuz they will get hurt

My son…read moreparticipated in a 7-on-7 football program, and during one of the final games, he was seriously injured when another player struck him in the face with an elbow. As a result, both of his front teeth were knocked out. One of my biggest concerns is that the coaches do not require children to wear mouthguards. This is a basic safety measure that is standard in schools and organized sports for a reason--it helps prevent exactly this kind of injury. I strongly believe that if proper safety rules had been enforced, the severity of my son's injury could have been reduced or even avoided. Even more concerning was the lack of follow-up. After such a serious incident, no one from the center or coaching staff reached out to check on my son's condition. That level of disregard for a child's well-being is unacceptable. In my opinion, this place prioritizes running programs over ensuring the safety of the children participating. I would strongly urge other parents to think carefully and ask questions about safety policies before enrolling their kids here. If you or your child have experienced a similar situation, please feel free to reach out to me at urloans10@yahoo.com

I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw. The school offers high quality experiences not only to children, but also to parents and staff members. The campus includes beautiful indoor and outdoor classrooms that are thoughtfully set up with activity offerings for children. I observed the intentionally of the teachers to create a curriculum that matches the unique interests and skill levels of the children in their care. The growth of the children is then lovingly documented in learning stories and evidence that is displayed throughout the campus. I walked away inspired to incorporate in my own classroom many of the things I saw. If I were raising young children in the Highland area, I would certainly enroll them at Building Blocks.
