I've had cleaning done here and the OP location is in fact, open for business! I also just contacted them as well!

After looking at reviews of several businesses we found they all seemed to be written by the same person....no details just "they were great." Remembering that Urban Valet provides cleaning services for the annual prom gown give away, we decided to try them out. The staff was very friendly and helpful as my wife explained exactly what was needed. In addition to the cleaning, her gown needed to be altered slightly. Staff explained the process and fully reviewed her requirements. The items were promised to be ready by the next Wednesday. On Wednesday we arrived and everything was ready as promised. Both gowns were beautifully prepared and well covered to ensure they could be easily transported. My daughter's gown had a jeweled waist which is not easy to clean but was perfect. I was more than pleasantly surprised when it came time to pay. For a wedding gown, an evening gown with alterations and a man's two piece suit with tie the cost was less than $100.00! I don't know about other locations but the Hamburg site has a very unique feature. In addition to walk in service they offer Drive Through service as well. I have never experienced such a service at a cleaners but intend to use it in the future. If you ever need cleaning and/or alteration services for everyday or unique items, choosing Urban Valet is the right choice and they will not disappoint.

I love the text alerts, they always get my dry cleaning done ahead of the ticket time and the web portal is pretty sweet (you can create a profile to track your clothing, store credit card info, etc.)...I've been going there for about a year, so clearly I'm willing to pay a little more for those things. I would recommend them for sure and definitely check out their website.

My family has been a customer here for as long as I can remember. My mom has been bringing her dry…read morecleaning here since she was 35. I recently brought in a dress that had great sentimental value for a cleaning. I dropped it off they said no problem we will have it ready by Monday. I go in on Monday to pick it up and they have completely ruined the dress. It was black and white and the young lady taking care of me proceeded to tell me she has seen this happen 20 times to black and white garments and that she suggests I not buy black and white garments in the future. She then said "oh no charge for this" like they would have had the audacity to charge me. They sent me away with some pre-typed up document explaining that dry cleaning chemicals can cause bleeding of colors and that was it. No compensation or apology and now my sentimental garment, although it was not an expensive one, is ruined. I do not doubt that dry cleaning can ruin a garment but if this place has seen over 20 black and white garments ruined then you would think when I dropped the dress off they might give me a heads up because I probably wouldn't have left it with them. Terrible customer service very disappointing and they have just lost a customer of 35 years.

Sue at Village Tailor did an amazing job with my dress, and I'm tough to impress. When my wedding…read moredress came in, I wasn't crazy about it. (A lot can change in a year, after all.) Fortunately, Sue knew just the changes to make to turn a "meh" dress into one that I actually love. I can't wait to wear it, and once I do, I'll add in before/after pictures so everyone can see just how wonderful her work is. I brought my dress to her with 3 weeks until my wedding, which was cutting it close for any tailor (for that big of an alteration), but especially for one as booked as Sue. She accommodated me after walking in without an appointment, and had my dress ready in 2 weeks. Not to mention, friendliness is a huge part of service in my book, and Sue is kind, sociable, and just overall a wonderful seamstress. Admittedly, I never really saw the point of people getting their clothes tailored (except for big events), but now I will most definitely be getting clothes altered -- exclusively at Village Tailor! Side note: Sue's prices are a tad high, but I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for, so I think she was worth every penny. And one more thing: she only takes cash, so be aware of that. :)

I went to Village Tailor as a way to support a small business but realize now I should have checked…read morethe reviews. I dropped off my daughter's homecoming dress on 10/9/26 and was told it would be ready on 10/17/26, the day of her dance which I was ensured it would be no issue. The woman who pinned the dress was pleasant. I showed up on the 17th at 11am and the dress was still hanging with pins in it and the seamstress working there was on the phone with the owner (Sue) saying she took another dress ahead of the green one. Once off the phone, I said that I was here for the green dress and since it wasn't ready, how soon I should return since I was told it would be ready by 11am. My husband picked up the dress at 12:30pm...the hem job was awful, the line was crooked on one side, the other side was sticking out, the slits on each side of the dress were very poorly closed, and there was an obvious mark on the front of the dress (this is a brand new dress and it was dropped off with the tag still on it). I specifically said multiple times not to close the slits, even at 11am when that topic came up. I went back with the dress and the seamstress said she would fix the dress by reopening the slits and adjust the hem job. I go back a 4TH time where the owner (Sue) had come in on "her day off" as she stated, to fix the dress. The dress was "fixed" (still not great and the seams were no longer straight because she had to undo the initial work by the seamstress, but we are now a couple of hours away from the time the dance will start, and the stain was still an issue (which I realized when I got home it appeared to be a pen mark which makes sense because the area where they check ppl out has pens and makers, etc). All I wanted was for her to take ownership of the dress having a mark on it to which she asked me how many times my daughter tried the dress on...insulting to say the least. At this point, I said you know I would like my money back, this was the 4th visit in the same day to her shop and it was nothing but excuses and the experience was just plain awful. She at that point raised her voice and said "fine no one wants to pay anymore"...I responded with, I DID pay and I always pay but this is no way to handle customer issues considering 4 visits later, I had to take what was given to me because we were literally out of time. I hate giving poor reviews, but at the end of this process and the owner getting irate with me, things only got worse.
