I wanted to have a zipper put in, so I could remove the hood when not needed. The person that does the sewing at that location (Jennifer) said, no problem. When I went back to pick it back up, I couldn't believe the job she had done. It was so beautifully and professionally done that it looked as though it was purchased that way. She accomplished a job so beautifully that no one else would even attempt. Awesome job Jennifer!!!!

I took it to the only dry cleaner I could find in NT and they said they could get my sweater cleaned and back to me within 2 days before I left town for only a 10% ($0.70) surcharge. Perfect! I picked it up and brought it back home and took it out of the dry cleaning wrapper. It's pretty clear that they scrubbed the wool because it's pilling only in the spot where the coffee spilled. Also the coffee stain isn't completely gone. I'm not mad about the $7 I spent to clean my sweater. I'm mad they didn't call me to tell me the couldn't get the stain out and they ruined my sweater.

My Black Suit needed to get dry cleaned before I went to Long Island for my friend's engagement ceremony (he was wearing navy, and we didn't want to match). I felt the cost was very reasonable, and my clothes were actually ready a day earlier than I was initially quoted. I've wound up losing a bit of weight, so my suits are a little bit "David Byrne" on me, and am likely going here to get them tailored as well.

I dropped my 2 shirts off on a Thursday evening and since I wasn't in a rush I kept it to the basics and was told I could pick up my shirts on Tuesday afternoon. The employee working was extremely friendly and walked me though the process. Another cool thing I liked about this place is that on top of giving you a ticket with the date on it, they also shoot you a text when the items are ready for pickup, super cool service! I stopped by after receiving a text and it was ready on Tuesday like I was told. I was super satisfied with the job they did and will absolutely be coming back here in the future! I found myself being summoned internationally for a 10 day work trip on a moment's notice. Of course, many things I wanted to take with me were sitting in my dry clean pile, as I had been working from home for weeks with no call for my higher end clothing. Drat! What to do? I called my regular cleaner about possible same day service or even two day service and was told that was a "no go." So much for my 20 plus year's of business. So, to Yelp I turned and happened upon Colvin Cleaners. They told me they regularly do same day service as long as the garments are there by 10:30 am and that I could expect them back at or before 3 pm. Eureka!! I drove like a mad woman straight there from the southern tier and arrived at 10:32 am. Despite my tardiness for the 10:30 deadline, the counter staff was very friendly, bright and cheerful and greeted me with a "how can we help?" They set up an account for me, checked in my items, and told me I could expect a text when the dry cleaning could be picked up, all in under 5 minutes! I decided to run errands while in Buffalo for my trip. Sure enough at about 2:30 pm, I got a text informing me my clothes were ready. I arrived, to find yet more bright happy and helpful service staff at the counter. I paid a very reasonable sum for my clothes and was on my way. This place is great and advertises that they employ green cleaning methods to boot! If you are in the Buffalo area, make this business your dry cleaners!!!!! You will not regret it!
