It's a nice way for me to evaluate vendor services and offerings without the heavy financial risk. Usually, I end up finding great vendors to add to my loyalty list. This time, however, was an exception. I went to Hardee Brothers one Saturday morning to drop off two pieces of cleaning, mentioning that I had purchased a Groupon for $20 worth of cleaning. It had taken me a few weeks to make the time to go in since they are not open on Sunday and their weekday hours are too early for me to make post-work. When I mentioned the Groupon, they asked for it and I showed the digital version on my iPhone. "No," the women said, "You have to print it out." I questioned this since it did not state that on the Groupon. She pointed to a man (I think he may have been the owner) and said "He makes the rules." I questioned He Who Makes The Rules, and was told in a very rude, and condescending manner that he would only accept the print-out and that "it says it in the fine print" (it wasn't. I checked a second time as soon as I left). I said, "So you want me to drive all the way home, print it out, and drive all the way back?" Yes, I was told. Not, "Just bring it in when you pay", or anything even remotely flexible. Well, I drove all the way home all right, but I will NOT be driving back. Groupon was kind enough to refund my money. (Hello, Hardlees! Take a lesson on customer service!) If you're going to offer a Groupon, be sure to have your customer service game face on because customers are checking you out!

The price we were quoted was on the high side but we have been told to expect that as this is the best place to come if you want the highest quality of work. Jasmine treated us wonderfully and we left feeling completely confident in her abilities. They told me they regularly do same day service as long as the garments are there by 10:30 am and that I could expect them back at or before 3 pm. Eureka!! I drove like a mad woman straight there from the southern tier and arrived at 10:32 am. Despite my tardiness for the 10:30 deadline, the counter staff was very friendly, bright and cheerful and greeted me with a "how can we help?" They set up an account for me, checked in my items, and told me I could expect a text when the dry cleaning could be picked up, all in under 5 minutes! I decided to run errands while in Buffalo for my trip. Sure enough at about 2:30 pm, I got a text informing me my clothes were ready. I arrived, to find yet more bright happy and helpful service staff at the counter. I paid a very reasonable sum for my clothes and was on my way. This place is great and advertises that they employ green cleaning methods to boot! If you are in the Buffalo area, make this business your dry cleaners!!!!! You will not regret it!

Then it came winter time and all of my sweaters smelled and I signed up for free pick up and delivery! No Remembering to drop off or pick up THATS THE WORST PART OF DRY CLEANING (at least for me). I also enrolled into automatic pay at the end of the month. They just email me my invoice and it's withdrawn from my account. Some months it's $0 and there's still no charge. My husband and I did have a mix up between ourselves about picking it up vs having our beloved comforter get dropped off. I called them a few weeks later asking about it and I got the best customer service I've gotten in VERY long time. They re cleaned my blanket and dropped it off!
