I called the cleaners and then took it back a second time. Still it was covered with "white" fuzz. The man told me that the white fibers are coming out of the black coat. (This did not even make sense). He said he cleaned it and then used a roller and he couldn't get it off. I told him that the first time he cleaned it he must have washed it with a white cotton item. He first told me he cleaned it and the second time I came in he told me about the person who cleaned it the first time. He refunded my 10.50 after I asked but when I expressed that he ruined the coat and should be reimbursing me at the least 40.00 toward a new coat. He said "You WON'T be getting 40.00. I won't be going there again.

I…read morewas unable to wear my original wedding gown due to a last minute disaster and found myself scrambling to buy a gown off the rack the week before my big day. I was able to find something in my size but the gown still needed to be taken in and up to fit me properly. I called Ilana at 5pm on the Tuesday before my wedding on Saturday looking for a miracle. Despite her being in the middle of busy wedding season, she graciously offered to help me and told me to come on in. Ilana was so kind and warm in person and her attention to detail was noticeable. She fitted my gown to me perfectly, had me try the dress with and without a bustle and even had me come in for a second fitting before finalizing the cuts - who gets a second fitting when they come the week of their wedding?! Last, I chose to wear my gown with a wrist strap. The wrist strap on the original dress was made of plain ribbon and Ilana asked me if she wanted her to cover it with fabric, given the time I said not to worry about it. When I put my dress on on my big day, the wrist strap was made of the lovely fabric of the rest of my gown - I was overwhelmed by Ilana's generosity and attention to detail to ensure my gown was perfect even though we were working on a very short timeline. The price included every single piece with alterations, which was great! We chose to pay extra for zubaz lining inside the coats. I did not like that they have a kinda limited color selection. We were looking for tan/brown/beige and I think there was only like 5 shades to choose from. We finally found one we both loved and when the groomsman all went in to get fitted initially, they did try to convince my husband to pick a different suit! Eventually they called us again and said the manufacturer wasn't making the suits we wanted anymore, how convenient. We picked out new suits and they got ordered however, when they came in and nobody called to tell us so we never knew to go in to try them on for additional tailoring- we had to call them. When we went in to try them on it was about 1-2 weeks before the wedding. The inside lining we ordered extra was not sewn in yet and there were still final alterations that needing to be made with some of the arm and leg cuffs. They said come back and pick them up the week of the wedding. We went back again maybe 3 days before and still needed more alterations. The whole thing was just cutting it super close to the wedding and the amount of issues with the alterations and another one with our ring bearers suit was just so much added stress that probably could have been avoided. I asked someone on FB who can I get to wash my clothes because I can't walk up and down the steps lugging bags back and forth to the laundromat, I was immediately referred to LAST CALL Laundry Services. That was about 6 years ago. Since then, Last Call has laundered my clothes regularly especially when there's too many clothes and I'm overwhelmed. They come pick up my funky clothes and bring them back 2 days later hot, fresh, clean and folded. Everything is done so perfectly and I feel like Samantha, when they arrive back.. as If I just twinkled my nose and they're all clean and folded and fresh.. and it's so easy, Knowing I didn't really do it on my own. Latasha Bullock and Co. really have something special here. and it's a essential service I'd recommend to any single man.. with disabilities. Last call washing my clothes makes it easier for me.
