I was in Copenhagen on vacation and this restaurant was right across from our hotel so we checked it out. Its also attached to Tivoli Gardens so you can access it from the park as well. They have a strange concept where you get a card and then you order your food at each station and they put the order on the card. Then at the end of the meal, you go to the cashier and pay.
Mom had a nice pepperoni pizza. Good size, thin crust, spicy meat. She liked it. I went with the mushroom risotto. This was very tasty but took forever to get. At the pasta station, they make the food while you wait. There were a few people in front of me in line. Then when I finally got to the front, the cook was working on several other dishes and seemed to be distracted. I also said I wanted shrimp and he cooked chicken instead. I think he was trying to be a master chef and that is not what is needed here. You need someone fast who is going to get through the line quickly. Once I did get my food, I really enjoyed it.
If you come in off the street, you may think the restaurant is empty but everyone was upstairs where the food stations and bar are and where the entrance into Tivoli was. If you were not going into Tivoli, you did have to pay on the bottom floor.
Interesting concept that is a bit flawed but the food was good. read more
