The management team consistently caters to a high end crowd that want's to escape the lack luster shoe carnival, out of your size rat race, pushing & shoving of crowds, poor quality craftsmen's material and the lack luster help. At Brown's you join a chic group of customers who want quality over trends as well as selections that narrowed down to comfort, fashion forward, and quality. What's not end management will order for quick pick up in store or at your door. My favorites are "Pikolinos " ( real calf leather) a statement tennis shoe that is very versatile and of high quality. Picked up second order of " New Balance." Efficient service.

Every National Chain needs a "Second Opportunity " to reprieve themselves as it relates to…read moreresonating welcoming service that is customer friendly, but the main reason is that I pass this "chain" on a regular basis -- it was tax free weekend-- they offered a wide variety of sneaker selections at a reasonable price, and I needed some white slip on kicks - Skechers slip ons to be exact. My first encounter was with a grumpy old baby boomer who greeted everyone with a half hearted " can I help you except me -- where I responded I guess I came on the wrong day and his response with an irritated voice " it is what it is." I did ask where were the lady sneakers he threw up his hands and motioned half irritated from " that wall to there," I then wondered why do I bother because money spends any where. Yet, I took a deep breath wondered over to where he pointed -- got my sketchers and headed toward the cashier -- to a delightful gen-zeer who allowed me to breath and thank goodness -- I was leaving and how was your day?

We came in this morning at about 11:00, spotted these Timberland City Blazers my husband fell for. Waited 10-15 minutes for someone to help, and every time we flagged either of the 2 employees, mostly playing on their phones, they'd duck and hide or go into the back. We walked around to look for the boots at other stores for about an hour, and after we couldn't find them, we came back to see if we could get some help a second time. Stood around for another 10 minutes this time, before leaving again to find them at Jordan Creek. To no avail, we came back to the store a third time. We stood around for 5 minutes and we were *finally* able to grab someone. When we waved him over, there was no greeting, just "what?". Absolutely ridiculous. We bought the boots because we couldn't even find the same color online, and we'd done our fair share trying to find a similar style/brand elsewhere today. After this, we'll never be back.

As for the product, most of the kicks are far from deadstock. Half of the inventory is worn and already has began to discolor. Sooooo... not only would you pay a marked up price, but you'd also pay extra to find someone to restore the sneaker to a, near deadstock, appearance. On the plus side, they do have some Yeezy's (in plastic) at some reasonable prices and some pretty cool retro toys in the corner. But as for the sneaker game..... nah, stick with StockX.
