That said, I found the selection at the time to not be impressive. I look almost exclusively for Jordan's, particularly retros, and did not find a single one in the men's or toddler sections (which is unusual in my experience at factory stores). The women's section wasn't MUCH better, but I did find a pair of recently released Jordan 4's that I picked up for my wife. Something important to note, is that if you find a shoe that you like that isn't in your size, you should ABSOLUTELY ask an employee to check the back.

I told my friends that I wanted to take a look and they followed me into the clean, organized store. My favorite section is the Clearance area. I found several pairs of comfortable footwear and asked my friends' opinion. We agreed on a pair of flip flops styled crocs. As I was walking towards the cashier, a friendly staff reminded me that the Clearance items are Buy One, Get One half off! I asked my dentist if she wanted a pair like mine... and I offered her a pair of shoes for her birthday. She eventually decided on a pair of Adidas! The cashier was very efficient and helpful. He scanned my email bar codes and found that I could get an additional $5 off because of my Rewards earned in their system! Yay! That's a total of $15 discount, plus the half off on the second pair of footwear! This was a productive visit! Thank you!

He also told me there were kid sized athletic shoes in all black that were comparable to my women's size 8.5. I have buying shoes all of my life and not a single salesperson in a shoe store has ever enlightened me of the fact that there are kids shoes I could fit into. I wanted a shoe that was a slip-on style in all black and Gerardo found me a pair that fit me perfectly. He also recommended an excellent pair of insoles for my high arches that were the most comfortable pair ever. By helping me find a great pair of sandals and shoes in one place, Gerardo saved me a lot of time. When I contacted their customer service, they blamed me for the wrong address (which I never entered; I gave them my current shipping & billing addresses) and suggested that I file a claim with FedEx. FedEx is not at fault. The Walking Company is, but they refused to take responsibility. Instead, they kept my money, refused to give me a refund for the sandals that I never received, and had the audacity to offer me "20% off on my next order," even though I made clear that I will never, ever order from them again. They took my money and gave me nothing in return except lame excuses. They are not to be trusted.
