I have been wanting to stop by Boot Barn and finally did. I needed some real boots, a good hat , and a possible shirt if it was cute. I did not want to get a costume and something that would actually wear and last a long time. Evan was the first gentleman that assisted me and was incredibly helpful. I told him my regular shoe size and he informe how a cowboy boot was different than your sneakers. He explained how it should fit and where it should not be too tight in certain areas. Evan was patient and I found the experience very educational. I did emphasize my need for comfort as I am not a frequent wearer of cowboy boots. We ended up with Ariat Fat Baby boots. The square toe box and more feet support made it very comfortable. The lower height of the boot made it easy to slip into versus having a higher one since i have thick calves. The Fat Baby style top hit right below my calf and made it very easy to wear. As for the hat, Evan showed me the largest size available, but my head is really big. Plus they were out of the brand I was looking for Idyllwind Laramie hat. We went to the men's section as it could be unisex for some fit and after trying about 4 hats we found my proper head size and a black felt hat from Cody James brand. Now for a short to go with office slacks and blazer , but still be Western enough wear when hat and boots are on. Mona Lisa was very honest about the style and sizing. We picked a lovely pin tuck cream colored sleeveless blouse. It was 92% cotton so it was breathable and not see through. Western wear is not just ranch stuff. There were so many cute tops and dresses, I wish I had more time to look around. At checkout, Jackie was wonderful in making sure who helped what got the credit for. As for the cost, it wasn't cheap and it wasn't crazy expensive only because I knew decent Western wear could be in the middle-depending what you want and what you need it for. I told them my budget and they found the items that would make sense. This was a decent starter pack. For my first time here, I would say the experience was very pleasant and Evan, Mona Lisa, and Jackie were professional and friendly. I would go back because they were so nice and helpful. read more

COWBOY UP!! The day I ran into this store--yes I ran because walking wasn't an option... it's 115 degrees outside on a Vegas summer heat warning day. My car is overheating making it 200 degrees.. it's the day before my birthday so I said "pull over I'm going to Boot Barn"! Lol Welp... an hour later I came out with two new birthday presents for myself and a lot of walking around inside this large and beautiful country vibing store! I'm glad I made the detour. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming! The store smells like fresh leather from their wide variety of cowboy boots! And blue jeans and fringe never go out of style in this place!! There's something for everyone here--really nice western styles of clothing and accessory departments for every age group and gender. And so many boots!! It was a perfect place to cool down and again I was so happy I stopped by. While paying for my items I joined their rewards program and received 15% percent off right away too along with a nice welcome email. The cashier associate was rude and unhelpful throughout my transaction. She was speaking with other cashiers while assisting me, which came across as inattentive and unprofessional. She did not acknowledge or thank me at the end of the transaction, and her overall demeanor gave the impression that she did not want to assist customers. I found the experience very disappointing and expected a higher level of professionalism and customer service. Walking in I was flabbergasted at the size of this store. So many options I was overwhelmed looking for my first pair of boots as I was in town for the PBR. Evan helped me out with a few options and he was amazing! He gave me 5 really good pairs to choose from, he asked the right questions to help narrow down my desired boot style. I went into Boot Barn knowing I wanted a pinch front crown hat, came out with exactly what I wanted. The lad who assisted me is named Aiden, a reyt chap aswell. Helped me choose the colour, size, shape and let me try it on all throughout him shaping it for me. A top bloke who is a master at his craft, would suggest looking out for him if you want to nip in... especially for a hat.... It was a rodeo king brand hat in 7x fur felt and in ash. Love this hat and only had it about an hour and a half. Don't know how people can dislike this joint, it's immense. Online, a Stetson in 6X felt is 380 dollars, mine was 330, with complimentary shaping. Right, if you're thinking of it, go for it, won't regret it. I loved walking into this store, the smell of leather cannot be beat, unless it's chocolate chip cookies in the oven. I have been here before and purchased a pair of boots, now I am here on a mission to get a pair of pants. The women's department has a very wide selection to chose from, unfortunately my body shape is not easy to find pants for. I was greeted by an associate by the name of Candice who was eager to help me find the right fit. After trying on about 12 different styles, we found two pair that worked. The inventory of plus sizes is a little slim. Candice did let me know that if we found a style that was right for me but the length was too long, I could always order online and have them shipped. I placed an order online for one of my grandchildren for a new pair of boots for Christmas and I see that if I placed the order and had it shipped to the store that I would receive a $25 gift certificate. So of course I chose that option and when the boots arrived, I was notified and went to the store to pick them up. The young man at the counter retrieved my online order as well as helped me purchase three additional pairs of boots using the $25 certificate that I had received plus an additional percentage off for the remaining three pairs of boots. When I first came to this store, I was overwhelmed by its size and selection--especially the cowboy boots. The left half of the store is the men's section, and the right side is the women's. Nearly all of the men's jeans are designed to be worn with cowboy boots, and tend to have a slim fit, which is the standard country-western style. I mainly shop here for apparel to wear when I go country dancing at Stoney's. To that end, there is no shortage of shirts to select from. The men's side of the store has only two fitting rooms, which can result in significant wait time. Fortunately, one of the employees said I could go to the women's side, which has four fitting rooms. At the point of sale, I had to go through the hassle of declining to enroll in the rewards program, which I wasn't interested in. Last month, during my travels in up-state NY and central PA, I lost a MUCH LOVED Scala Wool Western Hat. Searched online, but figured I could find a replacement at a store in Las Vegas during our New Year's vacation. It was not as easy as I expected. Surprise... Surprise... on our last day in Las Vegas and on the way to the airport, I spotted this Boot Barn location. Found a Cody James (their private label) Wool-felt hat to replace my Scala and saw several western boots I liked. The Customer Service in the Hat Department was VERY GOOD!!! If we were not pressed for time to make our flight, I could have easily spent a grand on two boots and an additional hat. The experience at this Las Vegas location has made me convinced to check-out their Boot Barn location in Collierville, TN and wherever I travel around the USA. read more

Well I do all my shopping for work here! I'm a flagger. But recently I was injured and have to wear orthopedic insoles, I went in and had no idea where to start insoles in hand, and then Shawn showed up! What a Godsend. Headed in to boot barn on 12.3.22 not even realize that NFR was in town. The parking lot was packed with almost nowhere to park. I went in knowing exactly what I was looking for. Thankfully they had a greeter at the door and she was able to point me into the right direction for children's/ youth area. I made my way back and didn't see the jacket I was looking for. So I asked a nearby associate who told me that what they had our was it. I didn't realize that boot barn had so many locations in town and I must have looked at a different store. As I was walking out another associate stopped me and asked if I found everything I told her no and she advised me that if I went to a register I could get the item shipped to my house "for free". I asked her if I could just do it myself and she said yes but the shipping won't be free. I said okay that's awesome so I walked over to the super long line and waited about 20 mins with my 6 year old before I was called to a register. The girl that was behind the desk tried to help me figure out why the same kids jacket had the same listing online but with 2 separate prices. We ended up going with a cheaper of the 2 listings. I was given a handheld device to enter all of my information onto and to my surprise she told be that shipping was $7 unless I spend $100. Honestly at this point I was annoyed and my son was over this trip and I had driven to the wrong store, waited in a 20 minute long like for free shipping and now I'd have to pay?! I could have ordered the jacket in my car or from the confort of my own home. Anyway, I told the girl what the other girl in the women's area had told me and she said she told me wrong but if I want to skip the shipping price I could drive back to the store to pick up the jacket. I went with that option however this option is available to anyone ordering on the website. The jacket will be sent to the store between 2-7 day and I'll be able to pick it up from the store. I wish all of the associates are in the same page with the whole shipping situation. The overall appearance of the store was beautiful. Everyone that worked there looked amazing and the store was well lit and organized even with how busy it was. I will be back to shop when I have some more time and it isn't a busy weekend. read more

Be aware of their return policy. Clothing must NOT be washed, worn or have the tags removed. If you do, they will not return that item. I bought a $75 Ariat shirt there. I always wash new clothes before I wear them. I didn't notice a one inch razor cut near the shoulder (most likely from an employee cutting open the shipping container). They won't take it back.
