Just moved to the area from Tampa Bay area where I went to a nail salon for 5 years for dip powder,…read morepedicure and eyebrow. I was fortunate to have an upscale nail salon near my home there that provided first class services. I am happy enough with the service I got here but definitely not up to par with what I am accustomed to. Charges were different from the published price. My husband also gets a monthly pedi which every place I am aware of both in Northern Va where I also lived for 50 + years and Tampa Bay where we lived 5 + years priced basic pedicure that included removal of calluses it is $15 additional for this service there mot acceptable in my opinion. I believe my charges were also incorrect as a brow is listed at $10 pedicure basic $30 with callous removal $45 and dip color at $40. I was charged $133 and we gave a $26 tip as the service was acceptable. I had hoped this would be a place I could depend on for this service but that will not be the case. I will be trying other salons until I can find one that is comparable to what I expect.

Pros: The lovely girl who did my pedicure was very thorough especially with the cuticles, nail shaping and polish. The leg massage was very nice and the massage chair good. The foot bowls are lovely. Cons: Typically pedicurists paint to end of the big toe nail to make the paint job last. Here they didn't and it looks a bit unfinished. You currently have to call to see if you can walk in. The lady who sat me down was a smidgen pushy regarding upsells. After the cream applied to the legs feet they felt a bit greasy. A wipe down with a hot towel would be welcome. We had envisioned a relaxing experience where we could unwind together while enjoying some pampering. However, our visit turned out to be quite disappointing due to what appeared to be a lack of experience among the staff members. From the very beginning, it became apparent that the technician assigned to my pedicure was not fully confident in her skills. Throughout the entire session, I observed her repeatedly seeking guidance from her colleague, which not only delayed the process but also raised concerns about the overall quality of the service. I couldn't help but feel uneasy knowing that my technician required constant direction in performing what should be a straightforward procedure. Unfortunately, the situation took a turn for the worse when my husband ended up sustaining several cuts on his feet during his pedicure. This incident was alarming, and it left us both feeling uneasy. In an attempt to remedy the issue, the technician applied alcohol to the wounded areas, which only added to his discomfort. It was difficult to watch him endure that level of pain, especially during what should have been a soothing experience. As for my own pedicure, there were moments when I had to call my technician's attention to certain aspects of her work, and she ultimately had to redo several parts to meet the standard we expected. While I appreciated her willingness to correct her mistakes, the entire experience felt disjointed and less than enjoyable. Given the combination of our unfortunate experiences--my husband dealing with painful cuts and my own technician struggling to provide a satisfactory service--it's safe to say we left feeling more stressed than relaxed. Regrettably, we both agreed that we would not be returning to this establishment in the future. The whole visit was a far cry from the rejuvenating escape we had hoped for, and it left a lasting impression that has made us reassess our choices for self-care in the future.
