The moment you walk in, you're enveloped in a sense of calm and warmth that goes far beyond just the aesthetics--it's a soul-level welcome. Kelli is nothing short of amazing. Not only is she a master of her craft, but she's also one of the kindest, most genuine, honest, and thoughtful people you could ever meet. I left feeling like I had received so much more than just a beautiful haircut--I felt deeply cared for. Every moment in her studio is a reminder of how special and rare it is to find someone who truly pours their heart into their work and their clients. I can't recommend New Moon Beauty & Wellness Studios enough--it's an experience that goes beyond beauty. I look forward to returning for some of her other services.

I have been blessed with incredibly thick hair. When I called to make my appointment I didn't know…read morea whole lot about Cowan & Co., just what I had seen on their various social media. I requested a hair cut with someone who had experience with thick hair, and I got scheduled with Amber. She did a great job with my hair. She was so professional, and really worked with me to figure out what I wanted. I don't know if this is a Kentucky thing, but the one thing that kind of weirded me out was that the shampoo was optional/ separate from the haircut. I've never lived somewhere where they didn't automatically shampoo before cutting. One thing I would like to suggest to the Cowan team, is to focus a little more on hair cutting techniques vs styling. They are great at styling hair, but the blunt cutting does not grow out well, and asking customers to schedule appointments in 6 weeks for "touch ups" is a bit of a turn off.

She absolutely worked wonders - transforming a matted birds-nest mess into a stylish graduated bob that you'd never know was an emergency cut! Her services include hair extensions, makeup, waxing and tinting and party eyelashes, and she does individual or group appointments.
