The lady Sofia was elegant and demure and did my nails exactly how I wanted them. Originally, I would have given five stars and back every two weeks. However, two days after I paid $100 for solar nails and tipped accordingly a nail popped off. I gave it Credence- things happen. One day later another nail popped off like lee press on nails. I did go in however to get the first one fixed and they did do it with a bunch of questioning and no apology. First visit here. Loved it. This is my 5th nail salon I've tried here in Bowling Green. So far, my fave, hands down! Pros: The lovely girl who did my pedicure was very thorough especially with the cuticles, nail shaping and polish. The leg massage was very nice and the massage chair good. The foot bowls are lovely. The environment relaxing and there are tons of stations available. This will be my new regular pedi spot I think! Cons: Typically pedicurists paint to end of the big toe nail to make the paint job last. Here they didn't and it looks a bit unfinished. You currently have to call to see if you can walk in. The lady who sat me down was a smidgen pushy regarding upsells. After the cream applied to the legs feet they felt a bit greasy. A wipe down with a hot towel would be welcome. Elisia gave me the most amazing pedicure. She was thorough in every aspect. The cleaning of cuticles, shaping, massaging, and painting was literally the best I've ever had. She was kind, patient and gifted. My nails looked amazing. I got a French pedicure and the lines were pure perfection, perfectly applied, and sized. She was not just a technician but an artist. Called for an appointment, showed up on time. I waited for an hour and had to ask how much longer would I have to wait. No one could answer me so I left (it wasn't even that busy, they just don't have any staff). I went to BG Nails, was in and out within 45 min. They prefer you make an appointment. So, 2 days ago, I called and set an appointment for today at 11 am. I work full-time so was going to use my lunch break (and a little more than) to get my nails done. I arrived 10 minutes early. Sat in a chair for 30 minutes to soak off my powder. At 11:45, I was still sitting so I had to leave with no polish or dip on my nails. Gentleman apologized and said that they get behind because people want "ombre" - well maybe he should ask this up front and allot the correct amount of time. I will not return. read more

I called Friday afternoon for a Saturday am appointment. I was coming in for a wedding and a little apprehensive about trying a new salon so close to the wedding. The reviews were really good, but reviews aren't always accurate. These were. This is an awesome salon. Professional, super clean, relaxing and peaceful. The quality is outstanding. So happy that Yelp led me to the Nail Bar during our fall getaway weekend! I was in Ky for homecoming and needed to fix my chipped mani. After reading several reviews for the area I decided to give TNB a try. I called for a last minute appointment and was accommodated without any issues. The customer service is definitely above average, immediate greeting upon arrival with service at scheduled time. The shop feels modern, clean and inviting. I felt like it was the perfect backdrop for a little pampering during a jammed pack weekend. The only reason not five stars is that the price point is a little expensive for the area ($15 basic mani) and due to closeness of booths I noticed nail dust from the neighboring station on my purse after my service. Worst nail experience I've ever had. The service was not good. These are the worst looking gel nails i've ever gotten. Asked for a tip on one broken nail to match the rest of my nails and the lady made them completely uneven. They're already grown out after three days because they didn't paint near the cuticle and some nails are jagged on the edges. Do not recommend. read more

I've been here many times and every time they never get the nails the same length. There is usually one nail that has a noticeable difference or the shape is slightly different. Aside from that once she shoved my hand into the curer and my nail rubbed up against the side, so instead of adding a layer of polish like i asked for she took glitter and added it, even though I asked for no glitter. In the end she made me pay extra for the glitter added. I will not be going back, but all of my friends have had positive experiences here. Their decor is nice and they always have soothing music on. So I've been coming here for three years.. I stuck with them through the covid appointment mess. I walked in at 12:30 do get a fill in and a pedi. It's 2:30 right now and I walked out with only my feet done and a two hour wait for my nails. Who in their right mind waits 4 hours for services. When I asked I was told there were people in front of me to get their nails done when I got there at 12:30!!! This is NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE services. The woman in BEHIND me had a guy do her feet so her nails were done EXACTLY afterwards but Bc a woman who doesn't do nails did my feet I have to wait TWO HOURS MORE! I do not recommend this place. I'll add the woman beside me was seated at a used chair with wet towels and had to me moved. I will find another salon after this! read more

I went here everything was excellent i was a walk in and i got my nails done by a guy and they were amazing. Second time I had come as a walk again with my 2 friends and the manager (i assume)told us they only do by appointments and that they were all booked up although it said on the door walk ins welcome. Third time i made an appointment and i had a different person and my nails came out nothing like i had shown and the person doing them was doing it super rushed and sloppy in my opinion. Came here for a pedicure for myself and 4 others including my 7 year old nephew and had a great experience. They are very friendly and have a very clean salon. Our nail technicians were very attentive to "problem areas" on our feet without making it uncomfortable for us. Would definitely recommend this if you're in the Bowling Green area. read more

Really impressed and I am hard to please when it comes to nail salons. Helen is meticulous, gel manicure is lasting longer than 2 weeks and pedicures are very relaxing. The salon is very clean and peaceful. I love how they play British gardening and cooking shows on the tv. This was my 3rd time visiting and once again left very impressed. read more

My coworkers and I (approx a group of 6) were treated to gift cards by our employer. We scheduled an appointment for 2:00PM and arrived a little early. As we were trying to decide on what services and colors we wanted, the older gentleman (not sure of his name) kept asking our party who was getting just nails. I told him that I was just getting nails, but that I was trying to decide on a color after a few of the other ladies had already answered that they were getting both mani/pedi. I asked him if there was a problem that we were trying to decide what we wanted and he said "No, but you are going to waste all your time picking a color". I ended up getting a manicure(if you can call it that) and shellac. The younger gentleman I had seemed to rush through the procedure because one of his regular clients walked in which resulted in a few of my ends not being capped and there are a few rough spots on the sides so we will see how long it takes to chip. One of our coworkers asked the older gentleman to get some extra skin off one of her toes and he replied, "I already did, didn't you see me", which resulted in her deciding not to have services performed there and got up as he had previously scolded her for putting her feet in the water. And yes, she told him that he was being rude. Even the other employees were trying to apologize for his behavior. I would like to think that he is not always this ugly, but I doubt that is the case. This place looks like a very nice salon, but the management is poor. We arrived at 4:45 pm for pedicure and manicures. The business closes at 7 pm, so that allowed plenty of time for both. They sent us for the pedicure first. They had inexperienced employee TRY to do the pedicure. After we had sat there for 1 hour and 15 minutes, a gentleman came over and finished our pedicures quickly. We were next for the manicures since we signed in at 5 pm. We waited another hour and for the manicure. Several employees left, knowing we were still waiting leaving only 3 employees and they had a lobby full of patrons. The gentleman who did my daughter's nails was amazing. His name is Andy and was the only good thing about the experience. I was asked to sit in the front chair. An older gentleman was doing my nails. He was RUDE and very mean. He kept huffing and puffing. I reminded him I had been sitting there 3 hours. It was not as if I walked in at close for a manicure. It was after 8:30 pm before we were finished. The pedicure was poor and my manicure was horrible! My daughter's manicure was nice. I returned the next day and requested Andy to fix the mess the older man made of my nails. I will never return to this establishment. read more

Absolutely horrible! I had a person SO OLD she didn't have the eyesight or even the dexterity to hold the manicure tools or file in her hands. I was extremely disappointed. Super long wait time and there were only three people getting a pedicure. The whole procedure took over two hours and I just got a basic pedicure! She failed to trim, file or properly prepare my cuticles. She often dropped or lost control of the instruments. As she used them she barely applied any pressure or effort, and so it was like she was just going through the motions and nothing was getting done. I had to ask her to re-do two toes on the trim, and she botched three nails and had to repaint. I honestly could have done better myself. One odd thing she did was scrub and scrub my legs with sugar scrub and a brush for so long the skin got rubbed and raw. It actually hurt. She put scalding hot towels on them right after they were rubbed raw. Absolute insanity! I kept telling myself to tell her to stop and to just get myself out of there, but one of the other three people there was a young girl, so I didn't want to make a big scene in front of her. Never ever going to settle for such abject incompetence again. This place was a scathing disappointment. Oh, one last thing, this person could not clearly speak the slightest utterance of English. The entire time I could barely understand a word that she said. read more
