I got my dear little Bean (aka Dobby) from here and I'm glad I did. Nassar and Betsy were SUPER helpful and answered all of my questions. When I went to pick him up, Nassar spent almost an hour going over every detail with me, which I appreciated so much. And when our new pup was having a bit of a hard time adjusting and not eating, Nassar literally drove Bean's best friend from Queens to Suffolk County!, to spend the weekend and help lift his mood and to encourage him to eat. I literally cannot say enough good things about this place! My pup had all of his vaccines and my vet said he was very healthy. If I ever get another puppy it will be from Nassar and only Nassar.

wish i could rate less.. i brought in my NONMATTED pomsky for a bath and trim and 20 minutes later they called me saying he needed to be shaved , i then said NOT to do so and that i would come pick him up and not to touch him. i said i do not consent to this he is my dog do not touch him. I then pick him up and he is half shaved and left botched. I never signed any waiver that they claimed i did. Needless to say i am heartbroken and furious. They touched my dogs hair against my will. I should sue..

I love coming here to get my dog groomed. Alex is a so helpful and she is so knowledgeable about dog groomers and knowing what best for my puppy, I've been coming here for a while and have seen the changes this place has made FOR THE BETTER ! Amazing new staff !! Love all that they do ! This place really cares and you can't get this type of care, compassion & patience at any big company store ( Petco). 10/10 experience Highly recommend to get your pup here and your pups monthly care here !

I was extremely hesitant about purchasing a pup from a pet shop, but my experience at Vanity Pups was nothing short of amazing! Lina, the manager, answered all of my questions and was very informative throughout the entire process. We had gone to the shop with the intention of only window shopping, but we ended up falling in love with our toy poodle and took him home that same day! Lina kindly explained all of the paperwork (where he came from, microchip, dog license, expectations for first two weeks, The Pet Doctor) to me and was patient with all of my questions once again. They washed and blow dried our pup before sending him home with us with a bag of dry food, wet food, peepee pads, toys, and matching leash and collar set. I'm a first time dog owner and Lina reassured me that I could call if anything ever happened. Thank you so much, Vanity Pups! My little pup, Pizza, is doing great at home- he's such a smart and energetic boy. Follow him on instagram @pizza_thepup

Brought my pup here for grooming. I picked it based on location, but what a nightmare. They cut a chunk off my poor baby's tongue. I know accidents happen, but this doesn't take away the pain my pup went through. Now lets get to the rude front desk employee #1 the front desk still tried to charge #2 she had the nerves to say "it's like biting your tongue." Really???? This girl needs to get fired. She's out of her mind. The owner was more compassionate. He offered to cover the vet visit across the street, but I'm still angry.

Good service I have a 9 months old labradoodle, 90lbs and he was ready in less than 2 hours, very good cut and clean he was happy, price was $ 123 with tip included, but he looks good and it was fast. Yes I recommend the place very good service and location.

I've waited a month before writing this review to see how my experience would unfold after purchasing my French Bulldog, Coco, from Vanity Pups, and I have to say: my experience with them has been absolutely amazing across the board! I can't find one single thing to complain about. WALKING INTO THE STORE: ---------------------- It's located in a super cute neighborhood in Flushing. Upon arrival, I was immediately and warmly greeted by a staff member. Meeting puppies is by appointments only, so be sure to make an appointment beforehand! I think they do this to ensure that they can dedicate proper time to answer clients' questions thoroughly and walk them through everything about owning a puppy. This shows they care about the puppy and do not take it as a 5 minute transaction just for the money. The inside of the store is super cute, clean, with puppies running around, and all the accessories you'd ever need and more. It's where I got my dog's bling (pictured below). SERVICE ---------------------- The staff is very nice and spends the time to answer all your questions. They even help you navigate being a new dog owner from A to Z, so you really feel supported and not rushed whatsoever. When playing with puppies I was potentially going to buy, I even overhead other staff members on the phone with past clients about their dogs, which let me know that they still keep in touch and are still available to help even after their clients had spent their money and left. PRICING ---------------------- I had originally inquired about another French Bulldog, which ended up being out of my budget (but it was the price I expected after having done research online). Nonetheless, they were able to accommodate my smaller budget and recommended more affordable little Frenchies. I was very pleased with the flexible cost as it was a little bit below what you would normally see in Manhattan and other metropolitan areas. They also provide financing (except during COVID-19, which is understandable). INFO ---------------------- The staff walks you through everything about the puppy you are interested in buying: - Which breeder the puppy came from (with contact info), who transported the puppy, how many were born in that litter, which shots were already given, which shots need to be given (and when), a health certificate from the vet saying that the puppy is healthy, what to feed the puppy, how much, how often, what to look out for in terms of health...etc - The puppies come with complimentary microchip, NYC dog license, food, collar, leash, dog tag, 1st visit to the vet (within 2 weeks of purchase), and neutering/spaying, full wash before purchase. - If the puppy had any health complications at the time of purchase or shortly after the time of purchase, I think they have some kind of warranty/money back situation, though I can't remember exactly. It was reassuring as I was nervous to buy instead of adopting (Frenchies are hard to find for adoption). It showed that they were confident in the quality of their pups and they had all the paperwork to prove it. I was stunned at how full the package was! It was everything to get me started and I felt supported 100%. ABOVE AND BEYOND ---------------------- The staff mentioned to me that the puppy would need to be spayed shortly after the purchase. When I realized I was only available weekends due to my full time job, they offered to pick up and drop off the puppy. I never expected them to do that, so I was shocked they had offered. This is above and beyond service. Thank you, Vanity Pups, for making my first dog experience a smooth and easy experience! PS: the puppy was already 30% potty-trained, which was crazy to me. I expected having to completely teach her how to potty, but she had a pretty good hang of it. Not sure if the breeder taught her a little bit or if Vanity Pups taught her. It's been a month since I've had her (she's 2.5 months) and she is now 100% potty-trained. Maybe I struck gold with a very smart pup?

Got my yorkie from them a little more than 2 weeks ago & I absolutely adore him. He had kennel cough when we brought him home and he's getting over it which is why i don't give them 5 stars. Despite some reviews saying their puppies come from puppy mills mine didn't I actually looked up breeder. The first couple of vet visits are covered by the store which is awesome as well. I deff recommend this place if you're looking to get a puppy.

Puppy mill. Adopt don't shop. This place needs to be turned down. No one should have puppies for sale unless they are being adopted.

Have people had good experiences here, I am looking to get a toy poodle or similar for my mom but I'm concerned about the horror stories I've read about purchasing dogs from shops that are sick etc can anyone please give advice?

I got my dog from here. He is happy, and healthy he is a toy poodle! We love him so much! I would buy from here again. Just be careful with grooming services and ask questions

You guys let me leave with her pain meds. You also stated you wouldn't have sent her home if you didn't think she was okay. Well you sent her home and she died. As for your very witty "We are not mind readers" comment, I clearly know that because you do not even have common sense to admit that you guys have screwed up. A pet dies and your reply is hope you get over it soon. For those of you planning on going here, my neighbor who lives across the street from me had the same breed dog who recently died under their care. BE AWARE AND GET A SECOND OPINION. Most importantly, he does not run unnecessary tests and put animals through unnecessary pain for money. My 14 year old Pomeranian recently got hepatitis and would've died without Dr. Kaye and his crew. They kept us informed of his status and gave us daily updates. Dr. Kaye would even come on his days off to ck on my dog to make sure he's ok. I could understand why other reviewers complaint about the bill. However, vet costs are generally pretty high, especially in New York. Besides, Dr. Kaye's rate is actually much cheaper than some other multi-specialty pet hospital (such as Blue Pearl). Also, both of my friend's dogs have been dr. Kaye's patient for the past 2 to 3 years and she's never had any problems either. In general, I'm really glad we have dr. Kaye as our vet. Unfortunately, people usually don't bother posting a review when they are happy with their vet experience. That s why I want to share my experience to provide a more balanced view.

Exceptional Dog Care Service Near Crocheron Park!…read more I can't express how happy I am to have found Doggy Do-Gooders! I've always been extremely hands-on with my dog, Kuma, a 13-year-old Pomeranian Poodle who's energetic yet reserved and a bit high-maintenance (white fur challenges, anyone?). For years, I found it difficult to trust anyone else to handle his care, but Doggy Do-Gooders completely changed my perspective. I discovered them through a friend's recommendation, and I was surprised to learn how conveniently located they are near Crocheron Park in Bayside. Their team--particularly Jason and Alix--has been fantastic. They come directly to us, which makes everything so seamless, and their care and attention to Kuma make them feel like part of the family. The service is incredibly personable. Jason has an almost intuitive understanding of Kuma's needs, from walking to overall handling, which gives me such peace of mind. They've even managed to work with Kuma's quirky reserved nature while ensuring he gets the exercise and engagement he needs. What I love most is their reliability and professionalism. They're always punctual, communicate well, and even send updates during walks (sometimes with adorable photos of Kuma!). These small touches make a huge difference, especially for someone like me who's always been cautious about delegating my dog's care. Doggy Do-Gooders is a true diamond in the rough. I wasn't able to find them on Google, but that makes them feel even more like a hidden gem. If you're in the Bayside area and looking for trustworthy, caring, and professional dog walkers, I can't recommend them enough. Kuma and I are so grateful for their service--it's been life-changing! If you want peace of mind and top-notch care for your pup, don't hesitate to reach out to them. They've completely exceeded my expectations!

We contacted them 3 months ago, and they confirmed they can provide the services. I have a friendly confirmation via email from the owner's wife. I called to confirm our in-home appt now 2 weeks before we leave. They were supposed to meet the cats at our home and take the house key. The owner is driving to my house the morning of our appointment, he gets lost and ends up in Hillside in Queens somewhere near the LIE. He calls me 5 mins before the appt to advise me he was confused and doesn't service my area. AFTER THREE MONTHS now you check the address and you go back on your promise and confirmation. Nice, What kind of business is this? Now my cats are left with no care thanks to them. Maybe they're getting old and heartless but you don't do that to people. We leave on vacation with the family and friends and now we have no one to care for our cats. I will make sure to let everyone know that is referring your company how horrible you are. Nancy first of all was gracious enough to take on the task of caring for Piggie who we dearly love as he is about 5 years old close to 6 inches in length and yes a chubby fish who loves to eat yet needs special custom care. Nancy was very detail oriented and out us at ease with her knowledge, experience and expertise caring for Piggie. She wanted to do everything hands on so she would insure it was done properly and that told us she really cares for those pets she takes under her wing. Piggie needs a special blend of regular fish food and crushed fresh peas which is a little bit of work but Nancy understood and didnt deem it a problem at all. We enjoyed our vacation knowing our pet was in great hand with Nancy. We felt very fortunate to find someone with her credentials willing to stop in daily to care for our fish. Her rates are surprisingly fair and affordable and she truly treats each pet as if her own and that to me is priceless. I could go on and on saying more good things that she is punctual, friendly understanding etc but I'm sure you get my point. 5 stars off the charts review and highly recommend Nancy and her company. We will be calling her again next vacation for sure. If you want peace of mind cuddle n snuggle pet care delivers!!!
