I don't think I've ever worked with a groomer who has so much respect and understanding for each individual dog. I have a very fragile senior dog (deaf, poor vision, neck sensitivity from damage before she was adopted, back/hip/shoulder arthritis), and an emotionally unstable butthead (I say with affection but he's high-anxiety lol). Stephen took his time with each of them to understand their personalities, let them go at their own pace, and feel comfortable with him before he started anything. He let me senior lay down in his tub and soak in conditioner to help her skin. Her coat looks healthier than it has in years. He then sat on the floor for a long time talking to my anxious boy until he felt comfortable enough to crawl over to Stephen for a nail trim. Super Paws was the first to respond and I was pleasantly surprised to find they take walk-ins, no appointment needed! The others who responded either did not, or they were simply too far away. They messaged that walk-ins, like me, are Tuesday through Saturday, between 9 to 2 pm. So we appeared on their doorstep Friday late morning. Both Marco and Alex, husband and wife co-owners, instantly welcomed us in, scooped up our 20 lb mutt in their arms, and together, did the nail trim so quickly and gently, that I was stunned. But, what really made our experience such a stand-out was twofold: their service was $10 cheaper than our usual vet's office, plus they clipped AND finished the sharp edges with a grinder. Well done! In fact, my vet was going to charge even more to grind the nails. Outrageous. This first visit went down seamlessly, and our dog barely noticed all the fuss. It was so quick, and so professional, I know for sure we will be returning. And kudos to Marco and Alex for being such a delightful, dog-loving team. They handled her so gently. I told them about the tumors in her mouth/neck and the fact that she hates her face being touched so they used a soft towel to hold her head up while they trimmed off all the buildup and dirt around her eyes. No one opened the door or answered my calls or texts. While I was standing outside, I received a message saying my appointment had suddenly been changed to 1:30 PM. I drove back home and then another 20 minutes again for 1:30 PM. Same thing -- no answer, no response. I'm extremely disappointed and upset. This was a complete waste of my time.

Our two yellow labs, Luke and Marley, took an immediate liking to them and acted as if Brian and Ludy were old friends of theirs. Muddy Mutts did a great job grooming our babies. Their coats felt so soft and clean and they smelled wonderful. Brian and Ludy also trimmed their nails, cleaned their ears and took care of their anal glands. They even sent us photos of our dogs as they were getting bathed, which of course I had to share on social media as they were so darn cute! Unfortunately, since the change in management, our most recent experience was very disappointing. My senior Chihuahua had a 1:00 PM appointment, but it took approximately 2 1/2 hours before they were able to get to her. For a senior dog, I am not comfortable with her spending that amount of time waiting in a crate, particularly when she had a scheduled appointment. I was later called and told that because of her anxiety, they were unable to blow-dry her. I understand and appreciate not wanting to cause her unnecessary stress. However, when she was returned to us, she was still very wet and shedding so much loose hair that the car was covered. We actually had to stop at a car wash afterward to vacuum all of the hair out. What makes this especially disappointing is that we have trusted this business with our dogs for many years. I understand that management or ownership changes can bring adjustments, but the overall experience and level of service were simply not what we have been accustomed to. I sincerely hope they improve their scheduling and handling of senior pets, because we would have liked to continue being longtime customers.
