UPDATED REVIEW (9/23/11)…read more Hello again all... I am back to report on my experience! So far, I have had four laser hair removal treatments, and they have all been as wonderful as the first. As a matter of fact after my first treatment, I extended my bikini line area to a half Brazilian and have been doing that ever since. I am already considering another additional area on the back of my neck. I have always been too self conscious to wear my hair in a ponytail because I have such a bad hairline on the back of my neck. Anyway, as for the Brazilian area, I've had NOT ONE ingrown hair since I began these treatments months ago!!!!!! I've had almost no regrowth, besides a few (really- like 8) strands of hair in random places down there- but that is normal since your hair grows in cycles. Those hairs were dormant until now, but they will get the 'zap' during my next treatment. I've also allowed a little extra time pass between appointments just to make sure there was no regrowth and there wasn't. This treatment truly works. My only suggestion is to avoid going for laser treatment within the few days before your period. Apparently your body is MUCH more sensitive then, and it may not be as comfortable. It wasn't the worst, but it was better all the other times. This was the absolute BEST decision of my life and worth every last cent. I do not have to shave anymore...ever!! My "lower-lady area" requires no maintenance now. Ladies... did you hear that?!?! Go to New York Laser and sit down with Ofra. You are then brought into the treatment room where Marta expertly performs your treatment. A follow up phone call is made a few days later to see how you are doing. I had brown sun spots lasered on my hands, arms and legs. There was minimal discomfort and I had great results. I am a repeat customer and plan on returning for future treatments. Ofra and Marta make you feel very comfortable in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere and deliver great results!

It's hard to review a hospital since the quality of care depends on who is there and your state of…read moremind. On Friday I took my father to the cardiologist and he found water in his lungs. He said he had to immediately go to the hospital to get it drained and he recommended I go to St. Francis. My father being stubborn refused any hospital visit at first but finally we got him to go. When we drove into the parking lot I thought I would walk my father to the ER but the walk was too much. A staff exiting noticed us and helped us into the nearest entrance which was not the ER. He got us a wheelchair and even wheeled us to the ER. That was very nice of him considering he was on his way out. At the ER the triage nurse took a look at the cardiologist's papers and listened to the story while examining my father. They were patient with him even though he was getting cantankerous. The whole process took 20 to 30 minutes and we were let into the ER. My father was placed in a bed in the hallway. There were lots of beds in the hallway. They looked very busy. A doctor came and examined my father and ordered a chest X-ray and blood tests. The nurse expertly inserted a needle in, drew blood and left a space for the IV to go in the future. My father was not happy about the needle but they were reassuring to him. They gave me a chair and we waited. An X-ray machine came to us and they did a chest x-ray right at the bedside. The doctor came and said that the water was not in his lungs but around. She prescribed some strong intravenous diuretic. When he had to go to the bathroom, he refused to use the urinal so they used this contraption I've never seen before that wheels him to the bathroom and allows him to sit on the toilet. He had to go every 2 hours and was pretty demanding. But they stopped what they were doing to help me get him to the bathroom. They gave me a chair to sit next to him. They asked if I wanted anything. He was admitted but there was no room so we waited. A cardiologist came and patiently explained what was wrong (he has afib) and his options. He's stubborn so a pacemaker was out so the doctor prescribed him a beta blocker. I ask for food for him the first night but it never came which was one of the few complaints I had. I asked several times but I never got any menu for him till the afternoon of the next day. I managed to get him dinner, and breakfast. The food is probably the best hospital food I've seen. It is however tasteless (no salt because of people with high blood pressure. Finally, on Sunday we were discharged and we managed to get lunch before we left. They took care of everything and the process was smooth. Overall it was a good hospital with good people trying to give the patients the best care.
