If I could give Sedam Tire 500 stars instead of 5, I would…read more Last Friday, my wife, my daughter, and I were driving to Niagara Falls for a short family trip when one of our rear tires suddenly went completely flat around 4:40 PM. We were stranded on the shoulder of a quiet rural two-lane road, far from home, and honestly didn't know what to do. I called Tesla Roadside Assistance, but they told me it would take about 90 minutes for a tow truck to arrive. After that, the car would have to be towed all the way to Rochester and left there until the next day. Since we were only on a 2-night, 3-day trip, it looked like our entire family vacation might be ruined. Then we found Sedam Tire, only a few miles away. Even though it was already near the end of their business day, the owner, Greg, and one of his staff members, Travis, actually came out to where we were stranded. The damaged tire was in a very difficult position near the edge of the pavement, but Travis literally got down on the ground and worked on the tire while sweating heavily in the heat. He worked incredibly hard to make a temporary repair and put enough air in the tire so that we could safely get the car to their shop. Once we arrived, they stayed and helped us replace the tire so we could continue our trip to Niagara Falls that same evening. What I will never forget is something Greg said: "I don't want anybody stranded." That one sentence tells you everything you need to know about Greg and the kind of business Sedam Tire is. And I especially want to thank Travis. Watching him lie down on the roadside, working on our tire and sweating through the whole process just to get our family safely back on the road is something I will never forget. Greg and Travis could easily have told us they were closing and that there was nothing they could do. Instead, they went out of their way to help a family of complete strangers who were stranded far from home. Because of Sedam Tire, what could have been a ruined family vacation became a wonderful trip that we were still able to enjoy. This was far beyond normal customer service. It was genuine kindness, compassion, and humanity when we desperately needed help. Greg and Travis, my family and I will never forget what you did for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you ever need tire service anywhere near Perry, NY, I cannot recommend Sedam Tire highly enough. Five stars simply aren't enough.

Not only did they replace our wheel with an almost exact match on our 14 year old car, they straightened our bent rim so that we could try using it as a full-sized spare once we get home. They were friendly and helpful and we felt in very good hands. In about 1 hour, they found, mounted and balanced the new wheel, straightened the old rim and sent us on our way. So straightforward and honest - they were looking at every option to keep the price down and get us the best value. These guys know their stuff and I would highly recommend them!!

Who is the brainless turd who decided that mixing steel nuts, steel lugs and Alloy rims on a…read morevehicle would be a great idea ?? Add onto that the idea that putting a pretty yet flimsy chromed cap onto those lug nuts works fine until the cap loosens from the nut, therefore changing the size socket or lug wrench needed to remove it. I just needed a mechanic to work over an hour and a half to remove and replace not only the nuts but the studs also for three of five lug nuts on my wife's Cherokee. My other option was to tighten the two that I had managed to loosen, and skip doing the brake pads on that side until our return from Florida. The thing is ...... those rims had new tires mounted less than two months ago and should never have been that difficult to remove in such a short time. Fortunately I had a mechanic who refused to be beaten and he had tools that I didn't, along with the experience to make the difference. . . . Beach's Automotive, New Rd.
