Parking is on site, and on the busy days they actually have someone directing traffic. If you're looking for something different and a little less commercial, this is the place to go. Standard entrance is free. You only have to pay for the rides, etc.

We had our photos done and my father went over near the fire pit and struck up a conversation again with Anthony and from the little he told me he's incredibly knowledgeable about Christmas trees! He also has a great sense of humor joking about how he convinced my dad to get his photo taken- appreciate that Anthony! Although we didn't purchase a live tree this year, I would not hesitate to come back to Anthony's when I'm in the market for one and I highly recommend. Easy to find with flags marking the driveway, large area for parking, friendly staff, sleds for you to pull your tree after you choose the perfect one and the staff will prep and pack your tree. There was some sort of shaking device I assume helps clean up the needles before you take it home. They also had beautiful wreaths and a fire pit!

Nice little FAMILY run Christmas tree farm. The man that helped us said his father used to run the…read morefarm and now he has it. They have a little bit of a walk to the actual trees. So, they have a wagon that carts people out to the trees. It was a nice little touch. When you get out to the trees they have some handsaws that you can take to cut your tree. If you don't want to cut it yourself, then you put a little tag on the tree and they will cut and haul it for you. They had pre-cut concolors, which is what I wanted to buy. The owner brings the concolors in from someplace in Springwater. But my family wanted to hack one down, so we went out to the trees. They have white and blue spruce trees, and I think Douglas Fir. We cut a blue spruce which perfectly fit into our corner. The majority of the trees appear to have grown naturally. They don't seem to do a lot of shaping of them throughout the year. They are still pretty and natural looking. They wrap the trees in the baling stuff and even help load and tie the tree to your car. There's a small shop that they sell homemade wreaths in and some crafts. They also had some cookies and hot chocolate there. A great touch after a cold trip to the trees. Price... very reasonable. I think ours was $35. STILL wish we got the precut concolor though. They hold their needles so well. Maybe they will plant a couple for the upcoming years!

In planning to buy a real Christmas tree for the first time since I was a kid, and near my house…read moreI went to yelp for help and was very pleased with the results. Crossen Christmas Tree Farm is a wonderful small business, and if you are looking for a tree this year head on down for great people, great trees, and a great atmosphere. Crossen has a variety of types, shapes and sizes of trees. They have options pre-cut, and plenty that you can chop (or rather saw down) yourselves. They have trees painted purple and blue. Although I can't compare as I've never been to a Christmas tree farm, even when I was a kid we just bought our tree's from a parking lot, what really set Crossen apart was the friendly small town service. From the Merry Christmas's said by everyone, to the guy who properly tied our tree to our car providing the rope and everything, to the offers to help saw our tree, to the reasonable prices (this year every tree was $45), to the free hot chocolate, and Santa visit this place is one we plan to come back to every year and I highly encourage you to do the same!

We use to go further away to get the tree, but this is closer with a better selection. You do not have to worry about a lack of trees! They provide sleds by the entrance to the tree area of the farm, so you can pull it up to the tree shaker and wrapper easily. They also have precut trees, if you rather not cut it yourself. They have a standard price for all the trees. It was $50 in cash for us - credit is a little more (Dec. 2021). They also have a little store where they sell various things you may need from tree bags to stockings to wreaths and everything in between. They also have commentary hot chocolate for you to enjoy and give candy canes when you pay. Everything in there is priced lower than most other stores. I'd rather go here than Walmart for some of the items for the price! The staff are all friendly and even helped my dad tie the tree to the roof of our SUV. If you want to cut your own tree down, I highly recommend Crossen Christmas Tree Farm.
