My husband reads everything before he signs.. the nurse told him not to worry about the answers because it's not like anyone really reads it.. we laughed..but really.. should it be that way? It's what we're used to. It's not like that at Pain Relief Partners. They read everything and even read between the lines. My neurosurgeon told me that I was beyond help and surgery was not an option. My condition was what it is going to be and it will get worse over time. She told me to visit a pain clinic and I might be able to get pain pills to help. I was scrolling to find information about the laser spine thing and wondered if they could help. I was having trouble walking around. I was suffering all the time and unable to sleep and focus and mentally drained and very depressed. I stumbled on the ad for this clinic and made my appointment. I am so impressed and so inspired with what I call my new lease on life. I am walking in the park again and functioning like a normal human being again. A few months ago I thought I was ready for the "chair" and I was so worried about it. I have some days with pain still but it's nothing like it was before and it most often goes away when I rest. One of the receptionists told me she had severe sciatica and that Dr. Scott had treated her very successfully so that was the reason, along with the 5-star ratings, that I went in. Dr. Scott took X-rays of my back, and a nurse measured the muscle tightness along my back which they forwarded to my email. I went in with severe sciatica being barely able to walk and in so much pain that I couldn't function. After the X-rays and muscle tightness exam he used some sort of a electro-mechanical hammer on my back which did nothing. I was released and told to put ice on my back. That's it: no adjustment, no instructions, no exercises. Nothing. I went home, put ice on my back as instructed and was in agony all night. I immediately went looking for another chiropractor. I found one and went the next day. They treated me and I immediately felt much better. As far as I can see Dr Scott did nothing to ease my pain. I picked the wrong chiropractor. She wanted an additional $180 for allergy skin tests, plus another $180 for the actual testing. If her rate is $180 an hour, then my initial payment of $300 essentially resulted in nothing more than a discussion of my paperwork! This experience feels unforgivable, and I believe that karma will catch up with her. Had she reviewed the paperwork properly, she could have provided valuable insights or recommendations that might have improved my situation. Instead, I feel cheated. This review serves as a reminder to future patients that they should clarify what is covered during the first consultation.
