There was no bad review. Agnes is so nice, she made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in - I'm sure she can sense how scared I was. She was very knowledgeable - she knows her brows! I came in thinking I am just getting a simple microblading, but after further discussions with her, I ultimately went for the combo brows and I am so glad I did! She took her time mapping my eyebrows - Ladies, you need your technician to take their time, no rushing! She showed me what she's done, made sure that before she proceeded that I was happy with it. There's some pain, but it is tolerable - do not be afraid! The procedure itself took 3 hours, but it didn't feel that long because you spent a lot of time chatting with Agnes! After the procedure, she gives you a paper, she writes down your next touch up appointment. You want to keep this. I read this and re-read this paper over and over again. I wanted to make sure that I don't screw it up - Agnes has done her part, it's now all on me to make sure I don't screw it up! I had my touch-up today and I can report to you dear readers that Agnes was happy that I did not screw it up (me too!). I followed the piece of paper that Agnes told me, it tells you what to do after your treatment and what to expect - very informative! I could have gone for a $300 microblading, but would I get the same compliments I get now? All my friends compliment my eyebrows - I was one of those women that over plucked their eyebrows. The day of the fill they didn't show up because they scheduled it wrong on their end. I had an important event coming up, so I had to get them re-filled somewhere else (the place I went to was a lot more professional, by the way, just pricier). Despite of this, I gave them another chance and scheduled another fill with lashes by Isaac. When I get there, they start saying I should get a new set instead of a fill because I had gotten them filled somewhere else. I found this particularly ridiculous since the only reason I had gone somewhere else for the fill was because they didn't show up to the appointment. They ended up doing the fill because my lashes were still pretty full. I went for a fill after two weeks, and again they start saying I should get a new set, which seemed kinda suspicious, most places do multiple fills before a new set. Regardless, I agreed. At the end, they told me to schedule the next fill through text, instead of scheduling me when I was there. When I texted, turns out they were going on vacation and couldn't do a refill until almost a month later (I have the texts saying so), of course they didn't tell me this when they insisted I get the new set, if I had known I wouldn't have gotten it. I waited the almost month, and didn't go to another place to get a refill, because before they had used it as an excuse to try to get me to do a new set instead of a fill. I show up yesterday and they ask me if I went somewhere else, I said no, and they still said I needed to get a new set. I was stunned! They said it had been too long for a fill, but I had wanted to come earlier, it was them who couldn't schedule me in because of their vacation. At this point, I told them to just remove them. As infuriating as their lack of organization and grifting are, that's not the worst part. I get home and look in the mirror (I did think it was odd they didn't hand me the mirror there), turns out they damaged my natural lashes!! I have (or had) very full natural lashes, they left them short and stubby, and sparse. I cried all evening. It's so ridiculous. I then posted a review on google reviews, so that one else has to go through what I went through. They replied with a bunch of lies to avoid accountability. They said I had been getting my lashes done for years, and that that caused the damage. Which is a lie because I got my first ever set on February, with them. They also said I had seen multiple technicians in between appointments and before and after them. Which is all lies, I only saw them and one other technician, and that was only because they didn't show up to the appointment, which is super unprofessional. I guess they lie to deceive possible customers. So not only are they unprofessional, they damaged my lashes, lied, and refused to take accountability, they also started gaslighting me after all the harm they had already caused. I'm horrified that this quality of human beings exist.

I had done my research online about permanent eyebrows and decided on Shauna after all the positive reviews. It bothered me are that she did not explain to me that 2 sessions are needed to test how the color you choose will look on your skin once the tattoo heals and the scabs fall off (BTW the pictures she posts on her website are taken right after she's done with the tattoo, the color and shape changes a lot after it's healed and scabs fall off). After showing her a picture of what I wanted my eyebrows to look like she dismissed it and drew something completely different on my face simply because she doesn't like the actress in the picture I showed her. This made it harder to achieve the look I wanted and after the first session my brows didn't look like what we had agreed on. I ended up with big gaps between strokes and had to continue filling in my eyebrows with a pencil because the color was too light. On the second session I explained to her what I did not like about the eyebrows and after going back and forth I finally ended up with the color I wanted and the shape I wanted. I was expecting that after the first session and seeing how the color reacted on my skin she would know what color to use to achieve what I had asked her for, but she didn't. I had to choose the color for myself. During this second session she was very short with me, didn't apply enough freezing so I had to endure the pain, to which she said "sorry, you just have to suck it up". Yes, she is very clean and has many certifications, there's no question about that, but after my experience with her I will keep looking for other alternatives when the time comes to redo my brows. It's also $300 every time you need a touch up. I have a friend that goes to an Asian salon that charges a fraction of that and her eyebrows look very good too - but they don't speak English there, that's why I went with Shauna.

The process was literally painless, since she numbs the area before doing anything with the needle. Also beyond my expectations, Shauna gave me a follow up call a week after each session to ensure the healing process has gone smoothly! I mean who does that? My dentist surely doesn't....neither have any of my previous tattoo artists. To my utmost surprise....this was by far the most superior service I've ever received! It's clear that Shauna not only cares about her work but about her clients - ensuring that they are satisfied with her work. I've had so many compliments on my brows since then and no one believes they've been inked. They are so natural - I absolutely love them (unlike those deep and dark straight lines from other places). However, of course if the consultation didn't go well I would cancel the Microblading appointment. My eyebrows were drawn on uneven in the consultation and I wasn't fully happy with them. I asked when I needed to cancel by to get my refund and they told me Monday, I cancelled 2 days prior (Saturday) to the 72 hour notice deadline and they still refused to honour a refund. Now I've spent $100 to have a conversation about my eyebrows and haven't them drawn on unevenly.
