He was recommended to us by my fiances mother who had him do some work in her backyard, including her fence. He was very responsive over email, text, and phone calls and willing to work with us on timing. He quoted us just over half the price that Lowes did. He did great work, the fence looks solid, straight, and exactly as we wanted. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend him.

Go with a different contractor! Tri-city paving paved my driveway 2 years ago. I had my driveway…read moresealcoated the following year as directed. I have cracks and depressions in different areas already! This was the first time we paved our driveway. It was just crush for years and we decided to spend the money to pave it. We got quoted from several different contractors and Tri-city was paving our neighbors driveway so we decided to go with them. They were a bit unprofessional yelling at each other when doing the job. Apparently there were some disagreements. They underestimated the amount of paving they needed and ended up having to get an additional truckload. I think they tried to squeeze what they had over a broader area than they should have. They left a very visible seam in one section and told us the sealcoating would take care of it. That is where some of the cracks have appeared. We had weeds coming up along the edge of pavement and a significant depression in one section after the first summer. This year we have visible cracks. My advice is to go with another contractor!

We even had the added challenge of a product color issue which they noticed after the sunlight hit it a certain way. This involved them removing quite a bit of siding and re-installing the problem areas. We went with oversized corners, and wide width window frame caps to keep it period correct, which again challenged the crew. Overall the project came out amazing, and his quote was extremely fair and competitive. Site was always kept picked up & tidy - highly recommended you give them a call.

Scott estimated that the project would take up to a month even with a 3-4 man crew. He indicated that once they started my project they would work on only my project until it was completed. Pricing was agreed upon as well as costs for overages such as replacing rotten plywood, etc. Even though they used more plywood than we agreed and I had a couple spots with wood damage, we were not charged any additional for the project. We made several after the fact upgrades (6" gutters instead of 5", hidden soffit, etc. We were only charged the difference in the cost of the materials even though some of my requests required additional labor. We were very happy with the attention to detail that the crew had. They went above and beyond on our front entrance and garage doors to match the Azek trim that we had requested. Once they started our project, they worked on it exclusively every day (except 2 awful weather days) until it was fully complete. It took 3 1/2 weeks to complete. The pricing was not the lowest, but was far more reasonable than most of the other quotes that I received and the crew was skilled and efficient and they took pride in their work. Our home looks great and we have received many compliments from the neighbors. We highly recommend Precision Exteriors to anyone needing siding work in the Capital Region!

DO NOT WORK WITH SPECIALTY CONCRETE SERVICES. We hired Mark Clasen's company to polish the concrete…read morefloors of our residence in Queensbury, NY. The job was performed before there were any interior walls installed in the construction process to ensure the easiest and most open access for the polishers. Mark ASSURED us that upon completion of our construction he would return to refine detailed areas around the walls and timber frame bases. The overall quality of the work was ATROCIOUS. The defects shown--surface dullness, clearly unpolished patches, edge inconsistencies, swirling--fall below what any reasonable customer would consider acceptable and are not simply cosmetic variations due to substrate conditions. They reflect inadequate workmanship or insufficient finishing steps. When Mark returned to the site, we had done research through platforms like YouTube to become more knowledgeable to standard practices of the trade, and made him aware of the obvious faults that needed to be fixed. He then told us that there was nothing that he would do to remedy the errors, went back on his promise to refine the exterior, swore at us, and left the property. This destroyed any trust we could have ever had with his company. We're now being forced to pursue legal action in Saratoga county.

I could not agree more with Nick's review. Even 3 years later, not one thing has changed and I was…read morein complete denial until I experienced everything he described. I went through it during the construction process first hand and I'm still dealing with them almost a year after signing my contract. I wish I had never done this. I was constantly stressed out and this was and is still a completely awful experience. Whoever gave this company 5 stars was clearly paid to, probably so they wouldn't have a 1 star rating. I honestly don't know how Frank can legitimately run a business like this. Not one person working for him will care about you, your family, or your situation. All they want is your money and they will say anything to get it. A perfect description, as Nick said, is over promised expectations and undelivered results. That should be their slogan. If you do choose to go with them, be prepared to: 1. Overpay for your house by thousands of dollars for pretty shitty work and low quality materials. It's what Frank calls "affordable". Do your research and the math on the outrageous upgrade costs. You will realize you're getting screwed. 2. Have zero communication between the site coordinator, operations manager, construction manager, and the construction team... you might as well kiss your blueprints goodbye because what you sign won't be followed and the things listed as standard features in your contract won't be included. I know this sounds crazy and you're saying to yourself, "how can that be?", but it really is true. 3. Have plenty of incompetent subcontractors working on your house. 75% of the guys are still learning how to do their jobs or are in training and the construction manager is never there to supervise anyone. This is because Frank is so cheap he's not willing to pay for people who actually know what they are doing. I am afraid for what is behind the walls, seriously. The day we closed on our house, we had no hot water and our dishwasher wouldn't turn on. How bad could it be, right? After being present for the necessary repairs, we found out that our hot and cold water lines were connected together and the water line to our refrigerator had never been done at all. The main electrical wiring to our dishwasher had been nearly cut in half and could have started a fire if the dishwasher was able to turn on. I thought you're supposed to have peace of mind building a new house... not so much. One more example, our neighbor's house was built 6 months before ours. Their sump pump failed a weekend when they were out of town. They came home to 2 feet of water in their basement, everything was ruined, including the furnace, and they did not have flood insurance. They had quite a battle getting that taken care of with BH. 4. Deal with their greedy real estate agent/site coordinator, Maryellen Blair. She is a complete bitch and has a serious conflict of interest with this type of home purchase. Unfortunately, she is the only tether you have to your house after you've signed the contract so get ready to deal with her for 4+ months. Be sure to have your own real estate agent with you for every single meeting. I would highly suggest one with new construction experience who will abdicate for you because Maryellen is a snake in this industry. I could not stand this woman, by the last walk through I wouldn't even speak to her, let alone shake her hand. 5. Be lied to...constantly. We were rushed into making decisions and signing off on things that were not correct. If we didn't, then we were told that we are holding up the building process. This is a complete lie because they already have their own agenda (and blueprints apparently) and the time frame in which you make your decisions has little effect on that when they are just starting to build the house. What they don't want you to know is they are rushing you so you don't look at the details. They are vague for a reason, which allows them to get away with shit behind your back and still make you pay for it at the end of the day. Clearly, I am very unhappy and I do not recommend BH to anyone. Everything I've had to go through has been a fight because nothing is ever done right the first time and no one cares about my house. I paid more than market value for it, so I've literally thrown my money out the window and I won't be going get it back anytime soon. No amount of remedies has made up for what this builder has and continues to put me through. I don't care about his reputation in the Capital Region because it is a bunch of bullshit. It is unfortunate that more people don't voice their experiences to warn others from going through this fate. He should not be allowed to lie to people and use and abuse them like they are garbage, it is absolutely disgraceful. Save yourself the aggravation and build with or buy from someone else...

I did the research and talked to 4 companies before choosing Pregent and then .... at least a dozen other houses got the benefit. When I was getting the quote from Joe, my neighbor across the street and one a couple houses down also asked for quotes. They fully replaced it, expanded it to be double width, and even put in a really nice Cambridge paver walkway to my front door. It totally transformed the look of my house. They got all the work done in two days and were really well organized in that they were able to simultaneously time it to stagger the different phases of paving and do multiple driveways at once.
