If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Back in March 2026, my wife contacted Vance Delivers about scheduling an in-town move from Hutchinson Blvd to the 24000 block of PCB Parkway just before the Walton County line. We would be moving from a 10x10 storage unit with furniture to fill up 2 rooms to a 2 bedroom apartment. We were offered a price of $800 with $300 of that due that day as a deposit. It was a good price based on what we had researched so I immediately sent the requested deposit via Cash App. The move would happen on April 3rd.
The day before the scheduled move, Vance reaches out to my wife and requests a picture of the storage unit. We obliged and then a few minutes later received a reply back "that was too much stuff to move for $800, especially going up 5 flights of stairs." My wife replied back that the unit has an elevator and that we were upfront with Vance during the initial discussion on what items we had and the size of the storage unit. Vance ultimately replied that he was in Orlando and was looking to schedule his staff for our move the next day, but that he was now not going to perform our move for the price he originally quoted. My wife responded how unprofessional that was, especially since it was less than 24 hours before the scheduled move. She requested a refund from Vance. After some back and forth about the situation, Vance agreed to refund us after 7 business days, as it would need to go thru his business insurance.
We started contacted Vance on the 8th business day and 2 subsequent days since and have yet to receive any response back from him. I recommend that NO ONE use Vance, as he is obviously a scammer who uses bait and switch tactics. I will likely never see my $300 deposit back, so these reviews will be left to warn others not to use him. read more
