I have waited to write a review with hopes that Mike would work with us to come to a solution. That is not the case and I am here to at least help other consumers. I have reported this document falsification to the FDACS (Case #2601-01483) and the BBB. As a Veteran, I am disgusted by these deceptive tactics. Update March 19th 2026 ​False Timeline: Manager Carey Smith told the BBB I was outside a 96-hour window . I have timestamped texts proving I reported damage 2 hours after they left. ​Billing Fraud: They billed me for a 13-minute drive as 47 minutes of labor (8:00 AM start for an 8:47 AM arrival). ​The Response: When confronted, the manager admitted they use 'estimated' weights for claims and told me to talk to the Government about their 'Fraudulent Process' ​I have already escalated this to the Florida Attorney General (MVAP) and FDACS. Veteran customers, beware. This company recorded a "final" weight of 3,311 lbs and forced a "final" signature at 8:47 AM--the exact minute they arrived. When we…read moremoved from PCB back to Canada, our stuff had to be put on U-Haul trucks, locked up for a week, then moved onto the actual truck bringing it to Canada. With the added "transfer" we were not looking forward to the results. When we unpacked back in Canada, we saw just how professionally and perfectly our stuff had been packed and loaded by the Van Horn staff. Out of 12,000 lbs of stuff, only one wine glass was broken. That was it. Nothing else damaged at all. Basically unheard of! Thank you to the amazing packers and loaders at Van Horn for taking such good care of our stuff. After the 7th past and no movers we called Allied to find out when our furniture would arrive. Allied told us the truck had not yet left Panama City Beach because they didn't have a driver and it would be another week before we would receive our furniture. They didn't even have the courtesy of calling us to let us know. We had to leave multiple messages before finally getting a call back to let us know what the status was. Our agent has yet to return our call after leaving him 4 messages. If you use Allied do not plan on getting your furniture until a week later than their scheduled delivery date.
