I received an email and phone call about who was coming out. I lucked out bc my appointment moved up to today which I really wanted anyway. Ethan and Zach were very professional and nice to talk too. I had a few areas I put my stuff at and they were fast loading. The bumper they put on the door frame was amazing because I had a couch that was pretty good size and with that on the door frame there wasn't any dents. The shipper, knowing the mattress weighed over 200 pounds, sent the mattress out with 2 men who clearly could not handle the task. They ended up leaving the mattress in the garage. The shipper notified me that to perform the delivery, they would need to send out 5 men at an additional cost which was outrageous. I'm 61 years old and deliver these mattresses all the time with the help of another semi-older guy. I went online looking for movers in the area and found Muscle Movers. I called and talked to Ken and he told me he was busy on another move. I explained my situation and he said he'd try to work it in. This was on a Thursday and he and one other man got the mattress out of the garage and into the customers home on Friday. His fee was more than reasonable and the fact that he extended himself like he did, I cannot express my gratitude. It started bad and got worse. I read some of the previous reviews and was hoping they were just…read moresome "one offs" but I, unfortunately, was wrong. I called and spoke with Mike to get my original quote and it sounded reasonable. A couple of weeks before my move, I realized I hadn't gotten a time that the crew would show up on the day of the move so I called Mike to ask. Here came strike one, he couldn't find me on the calendar - even though I had a confirmation email. He'd called me back fairly quickly and said I was on another calendar or something to that effect. Day of the move comes and they start moving furniture, nothing gets wrapped in blankets even after asking. Expensive leather chairs are flipped on their side and have a metal hand truck shoved underneath them, and other pieces of furniture are just put into the truck with no padding at all. Granted, we were only moving 8 miles down the road but we were told everything would be wrapped in blankets. Strike two. When they got to the house, we saw the final packing job, things literally just thrown on top of other things and obviously shifted during the short ride over. The last and final strike, there were a few things that got damaged during the move, we were told by the lead mover that he had taken pictures and we'd hear from someone the following Monday, never heard from anyone. I finally called Mike to find out what they planned on doing about the broken items, he told me he was unaware there were any. He finally sent another guy, Ethan, out to asses and fix what he could. We have an 8 foot mirror that was not fixable. Ethan said he'd work with "Mike and Fred " and one of them would get back with me. I finally just gave up and told them we'd just scrap the mirror, I just didn't feel like getting the run around any more. Strike three. Save yourself a headache and just use someone else. One last thing, I do see where they respond to some reviews- regardless of what they say, everything is accurate in my review, they have zero credibility to refute anything here.

Throughout my entire move these young people were professional, courteous, honest and friendly. From the moment I emailed Bayside Moving and received a quick response and quote from Austin I was hopeful that this would be a painless move. We moved from Pensacola Beach further east along the Gulf Coast. On moving day, five young men showed up on time and started packing my furniture. They were professionally dressed, pleasant and fast working. I cannot remember the names of all the five men but appreciate their service. I opted to have the furniture delivered two days later to have time to arrive and prepare our new beach home for the furniture. There was a blip with time of arrival due to a misunderstanding regarding CST and EST, but I received a call from Cody letting me know and we were good to go. Cody and Anderson showed up, unwrapped furniture, moved furniture up and down three flights of stairs without once hearing a complaint or seeing them waste time. They went above and beyond and did a few extra things such as moving an existing washer & dryer down to the garage. I received outstanding service. Not one thing arrived broken. Not one wall scratched or wooden floor marred. I was so happy with this entire experience.
