Cute BBQ join in the town of Canton. We shared the family deal $49.99 for lunch, which included two pounds of meat and 3 sides. The pulled pork was so good and the sauce was perfection. The sides were good, but the meat was definitely the highlight. Staff were really helpful and suggested getting the deal as it was more cost effective. Lots of leftover for dinner! read more

Update: returned 6 months later and they had a new staff working, the man was not kind at all! It was actually really disappointing to come back after our first great experience and get mediocre food and bad service. The brisket was dry and the lemonade tasted like cleaner. The only thing that held to the test of time was the cowboy beans. read more

Just ate at this local barbecue joint here in Canton Texas fantastic meal. Everything was great. Very unique coleslaw that taste great cowboy beans. Awesome. The brisket was just right. The sauce was not used as much but when I did, it was very tasty. I will be back soon!!! read more

Tried this new spot in Canton. Inside is on the small side. Only a few tables against the wall and two bar tops. Overall finish is nice. But won't hold many people. I had the two meat plate. Had turkey and jalapeño sausage, with the backed beans and Mexican corn, and some of their homemade pickles onion and jalapeño. Wife got the Texas Twinkies and coleslaw. The turkey was good with a good peppery bark. Sausage was good too. Twinkies were ok, bacon could have been crispier. Jalapeño was pretty spicy too. I know some peppers are hotter than others, crap shoot. BBQ sauce is a thicker sauce on the sweater side. We will try this place again. read more

The barbecue is authentic and full of flavor. They offer so many items on the menu. The potato salad was the best I have had.

After braving the heat at First Mondays Market Days we decided to try this place for lunch, and it exceeded our expectations! We opted to share the pulled pork, brisket, sausage, slaw, and mac & cheese and everything was fantastic. The staff was incredibly welcoming, adding to the great experience. It's hard to choose a favorite between the pulled pork and the sausage---the sausage in particular stood out with its perfectly melty pepper jack cheese (not spicy,just right). We tried it for the first time and had a good experience. The service was friendly and the food portion sizes were good. I had the 2 meat plate (sliced brisket and sausage) with potato salad and baked beans. It also came with a jalapeño, and some home made pickles and onions and a piece of toast. My wife got the loaded baked potato. Everything tasted great. The dining area is small, but fixed up nicely. I would recommend giving them a try. read more

Very friendly staff. Meats are great. I tried the pulled pork, brisket and sausage. The pulled pork was the best. I wasn't a fan of the side selections. I tried the Mexican elote style corn. It was okay. I may have to try the jalapeño macaroni next time. Place is small so don't bring a big group or take it to go. read more

I ate here today for the first time. I am very pleased. Their brisket and sausage are very good, easily the best in Van Zandt county. My side of Cole slaw was delicious. The Mac & Cheese was good, but lacking something. Right now, the help is new, so I heard orders getting mixed up. But the people are friendly. I'll definitely be back. read more
