Currently they are non-responsive. The roof replacement went well. Gutter replacement was okay. Siding replacement has been a nightmare. The first crew did such a horrid job that DHI had to tear the siding off and install it again. The second crew put a nail through electrical wiring that knocked out power to our internet box. When I turned on my air conditioning I found that they likely also put a nail into my in-wall coolant line which I am having repaired next week for nearly $4000. I cannot confirm until they rip it out to the wall, but a small hole I cut in the wall had a new nail just an inch from the line (and nowhere near a stud where it should be). I reached out to my project manager, Casey Jolley, 3 days ago and no reply. I reached out to his manager, Manny Santos, also and no reply. I called the main office this morning and they could not put me through to anyone I could discuss the issue with. They promised me 6 to 7 weeks ago that the garage doors would be replaced in 3 weeks. Nothing. Not a word from them. Other minor repairs that could have been completed in the past year are still not done.

They told us we would have the bid in 2-4 weeks. We were told that a spot was held for us to start construction the beginning of September. After a month we had not heard back so we contacted them. It took until the beginning of September until we finally got the bid after we had contacted them multiple times asking for it. Once we got it they said that we were now bumped until October. We were also told we would get an itemized bid with pricing break downs but only received a bid with a total number. We then asked to meet with them to go over the bid which took another 4 weeks to finally get an in person meeting. The secretary wrote down the wrong time and thus the contractor wasn't there and we had to wait for them to come back to meet with us. At this time the contractor told us that they couldn't give us a price break down, "we just don't do that." was what we were told. At this point we were also told that we were now pushed back to December for a start date. This continued delay has cost us money as a business as we could not open that addition until the project is done and our peak season is September and October. The lack of communication was difficult alone. The lack of transparency is unacceptable. We will be going a different route as I don't trust a company that can not be transparent on their bid or clear in their communication.

Frank is very personable, explained all areas of interest which would raise flags, which items should be given immediate attention and others which were normal settling such as vertical/horizontal cracking. His suggestions of benefits such as additional attic insulation, drainage away from the foundation, etc., put us at ease that nothing serious was noticed, just maintaining good maintenance practices. Frank made sure all our questions were answered and stated not to hesitate to contact him for any issues in the future prior to hiring someone. Highly recommend 'PST ENGINEERING'.

Brian is 2nd generation (at least); I started doing business with them when his dad was still running the business. We had a leak in a valley after buying our home and he went up there with a hose, in and out of the attic, etc. He spent a good amount of time figuring out what was going on, and how to best fix it. After fixing it, he said on the way out, "Let me know if it leaks again and we'll come take care of it." You've got to love a company that stands by their work! Over the years we've had a lot of minor repairs done both here and at our home in St Joe, put on a rolled roof, had flashing, shingles, and chimney masonry repair work done, put on a full shingled roof on our primary home, and had gutters completely replaced. They've done it all for a lot less than others bid and I've never had to question the quality of their work. Brian and his team have always been VERY responsive, calling us back right away, getting someone out to make repairs when needed right away, and always standing by their work. They've always gone above and beyond (e.g. coming in to spray oil-based primer over the stains on a 20' ceiling because I couldn't reach it with my ladder after they fixed the leak above. It's those little things that go above and beyond. If anyone ever asks for a roofer recommendation, we don't hesitate to recommend Acord. They've been around a long time, with good reason.

The company who'd replaced our roof didn't replace the flat part. They said it didn't need to be replaced. It was a rainy day when they collected the check. As soon as they were gone, our family room ceiling opened up and gallons of water poured in. The roofing company agreed to replace the flat roof but they did a sloppy job. I had someone on my roof who was screening off areas where critters could access our attic and they told me that flat roof needed to be replaced, sooner than later. I contacted several companies recommended by people on the Nextdoor app. One company came out to give me a quote but never returned my calls. Another company told me they were only doing roof replacements. I appreciated their honesty. I was very specific when I called roofing companies; I didn't need a new roof. One guy came out and told me he could contact my insurance company and tell them my roof had been damaged from a storm. We'd not had any damage to our roof from storms and that's bordering on insurance fraud. I decided to check out Yelp recommendations and saw that Easton had a lot of good reviews. When I called, they were very nice and told me they'd send someone out. The guys from Easton were there on time and they gave me an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable so I called to schedule the repair. The workers were very nice, professional, timely and they were there everyday until it was finished. They cleaned up after the repair so I wasn't finding random pieces of roofing material. Everyone, from the woman who answered the phone to the guys who did the repair was very nice and the whole process was seamless. Easton completed the repair and after years of checking ceilings, I can finally relax. Another contractor I'd used to remodel our house often needed access to the roof. I didn't ask him to check the flat roof but while he was up there, he wanted to check it out. He assured me they'd done a very good job and then asked for their info so he'd have the name of a good roofing company if one of his clients was looking to replace their roof. When an outstanding contractor is impressed with the work done by another company and asking for the company's info, that says a lot. If we have to replace our roof, we'll definitely use Easton and if anyone needs a roof replacement or repair, I highly recommend them. They've earned those 5 star reviews.

The team who put on the new roof were all great guys and extremely hard workers.
