If I could give 10 stars, I would. We've been using Acord for all our roofing needs for the past 15 years. Brian is 2nd generation (at least); I started doing business with them when his dad was still running the business. We had a leak in a valley after buying our home and he went up there with a hose, in and out of the attic, etc. He spent a good amount of time figuring out what was going on, and how to best fix it. After fixing it, he said on the way out, "Let me know if it leaks again and we'll come take care of it." You've got to love a company that stands by their work! Over the years we've had a lot of minor repairs done both here and at our home in St Joe, put on a rolled roof, had flashing, shingles, and chimney masonry repair work done, put on a full shingled roof on our primary home, and had gutters completely replaced. They've done it all for a lot less than others bid and I've never had to question the quality of their work. Brian and his team have always been VERY responsive, calling us back right away, getting someone out to make repairs when needed right away, and always standing by their work. They've always gone above and beyond (e.g. coming in to spray oil-based primer over the stains on a 20' ceiling because I couldn't reach it with my ladder after they fixed the leak above. It's those little things that go above and beyond. If anyone ever asks for a roofer recommendation, we don't hesitate to recommend Acord. They've been around a long time, with good reason. read more

Brian made the effort to come by to discuss my situation and assured me that everything was done as expected (correct shingles), and that when insurance companies 'test' shingles, they will always say that they are 30 year. He informed me that had I called him, he could have had it verified. My recent roof was installed and I had to question the installers as to why they were not using plywood to protect my home the same way Acord did. It seems these installers were in too much of a hurry to do that and now they get to come back and fix the resulting issues. I needed a simple roof repair (2-3 shingles slipped down and needed to be replaced/reattached). The ridge-line had also looked ruffled and needed attention. While their work product may be alright, I'd never use them for the following reasons: * Took 3-4 days to get a call, was told that Brian would be over after he ate lunch * Brian arrived, and never called or updated me on the state of the roof * Brian sent an estimate later, but did not catch the ridge line ruffled shingles * The estimate was excessively expensive ($350) for 3-4 shingles and less than 1 hour of labor Ultimately, we were able to have the roof professionally repaired for about half of the quote. I recently had Acord work on my roof for the second time, and highly recommend their work. The first time was several years ago, when a valley above my door was leaking. My State Farm agent recommended them, saying they usually don't question what Acord recommends. The owner came out, found the leak, and fixed it on the spot for less than $100. He also told my my shingles had been discontinued, so if I ever needed a repair covered by insurance, most companies would replace the whole roof. That repair lasted until... Fast forward to the stormy summer of 2015. One evening after a particularly wild one, I heard water dripping in my entryway. Jared from Acord came out, gave me an estimate for a repair, and suggested I contact State Farm. State Farm wanted tarp on the roof, which Jared did right away. To make a long story short, State Farm came out and rejected the claim because he couldn't undo the tarp to look at the damage. Jared called them back and said he thought there was wind damage, and after some more insurance-company shenanigans (microscopic analysis of my shingles to make absolutely sure they couldn't be matched), I have a beautiful new roof (and covered gutters on my dime). The roof took about a day and a half, and I've never seen a crew of workers who were so much fun to be around. They laughed and sang in Spanish all day long, and their eyes lit up when I asked if they wanted cookies or donuts in the morning (cookies). Everything was cleaned up and hauled away. Same with the gutters, which match the house perfectly. There are probably a hundred roofing companies around here to choose from; believe me when I say this is a good one. read more

Very impressed! I had my roof replaced by Acord Roofing n August 2018. They did a great job and all in one day. During the entire operation I noticed that Brian and his roofing crew really worked together as a team and got the job done in record time. They also did a great cleanup job both during the operation and after they were done. We had several estimates and their's was neither the lowest or the highest but very reasonable for the service we received. Great family run business. They redid my old roof in the northland removing the cedar shake and putting on a similar asphalt roof. Heck after the tornado they did 2/3 of our subdivision. Excellent work. At my new house did a free inspection then I was looking to buy. Also replaced some vent gaskets, during winter as a preventative step. Best and most trustworthy around. They will be my first can only call for my next roof. read more
