My husband and I were excited to use a local company to help with some roofing and gutter…read morerestoration, but sadly it seems like that will never happen. Scot, our contact, was gracious and responsive at first. It took a minute to juggle our schedules and plan a visit, but Scot was able to come over on a Friday and take a look. He did a great job taking photos and showing me exactly what needed to be repaired and some other issues we could fix at different times. He was super friendly and we left on what I thought were good terms and an agreement that I would get an email with a link to the estimate we discussed. A week or two passed with no follow-up. So I emailed. Another week or two passed and again, emailed and no response. I was more than annoyed now and ended up calling the main office where I got rerouted to their Colorado office (talked to another Scott, maybe this is a qualification for working here?) who apologized and saw our info in the system and would pass along for an urgent response. Another week went by...nothing. Called the office again and this time got voicemail. I left a voicemail, but honestly, I know this isn't going anywhere. Very unprofessional to ghost a client, I would have much rather been told the job couldn't be done or they were overwhelmed rather than hanging on for a reply for months at this point now. It hurts me to write a 1-star review for a local company, but someone here needs to stop dropping the ball.

Our overall experience with Great Roofing is as follows- we are glad the job is done so we can be…read morethrough with it. We had our roof replaced on our home which is our primary residence. We selected Great Roofing because it was recommended by our close friend and home inspector, and we were impressed by the customer service for the proposal process. We felt confident in our choice. Overall, the product seems to be acceptable. What I'd like to discuss is the service experience we had beyond the actual installation. Leading up to installation, we felt very prepared for what to expect the day of. I left with our young dog for the day since the noise was too much for him. Upon our return, the crew was cleaning up our yard and did a great job. I was surprised to see the job completed so quickly. After the crew left, I let our dog out in the back and noticed he was paying a lot of attention to the tree in the back of our yard. I went down to check on what he had gotten in to and was horrified to find out it was human vomit and my dog was eating it. So here's the thing- it's a pandemic, vomiting is a COVID-19 symptom and furthermore, it's disgusting and unprofessional. I immediately texted our project manager to find out what happened. His response was lackluster at best. He shared we could take our dog to the vet to "ease our mind" (with no offer to foot the bill should something be wrong) and tried to explain away that his dog eats worse and gets sick more often and is fine??? He also told us to hose it down- like that is my job to clean up someone else's vomit. I was very disappointed in the customer service at that point. Our dog is young, has many allergies and sensitivities, and does NOT eat "more gross things" like our project managers dog does. Also, it really didn't seem like a good explanation as to why a crew member vomited in our yard. I even checked with our backyard neighbors to make sure one of their grandkids hadn't gotten sick while playing, though vomiting that far over the fence would have been unrealistic, I figured I'd double check. I was mostly concerned that our dog could potentially contract COVID since we didn't know the story behind the reason for illness. The weekend comes and our dog is sick for the entire weekend- refusing to eat and otherwise ill. We handled our stuff because clearly GR was not willing to offer support. When our project manager returned to check the crew's work (3 days later when he said he'd come the next day) his remedy was to hand me a $20 to get our dog a treat and basically move on. Not helpful. Upon further inspection, it turned out the crew did not do the entire job. They did not add a chimney cricket and there were some sloppy shingles on our roof that required additional work to nail down. On a 3 day old roof. So the project manager told me a crew would return to finish the job the right way. Fine, no big deal. The crew returned with NO warning, blocked me into the garage and did not give me the opportunity to take our dog somewhere else for the time being. When it came time to leave for a dinner reservation, they were accommodating in helping me get out, and I really don't blame the crew for showing up without warning as that seems to be another person's job. However, our project manager AGAIN didn't seem to understand the issue of inconvenience. Overall, as I said, our roof is structurally find (we believe) but our experience simply did not have to be this way. I'd recommend the roofers who, all-in-all were kind and considerate, but I'm not sure I can give a strong recommendation to the service we experienced during setbacks and bumps in the road.

Instead of finishing the job, Quincey Barrett ripped out the old doors, left the home in shambles, and vanished with the money. The house is now in a far worse state than when it started--it is unsecured, unfinished, and $25,000 has been stolen. This is not a "bad contractor" experience; this is professional fraud and property abandonment. URGENT CALL TO ACTION: If you have also been a victim of Quincey Barrett, do not wait. Go to your local police station and file a report for construction fraud and theft by deception. We are working with the authorities to ensure there is a paper trail for this criminal behavior. You should also report them to the State Licensing Board immediately. Save your family the trauma and the money--stay as far away from Quincey Barrett as possible.

NOTE: ALL OF THE FOLLOWING IS DOCUMENTED through text…read moremessages, phone calls, photographs, home inspections, signed contracts, and additional records. Recent reviews accurately reflect the fraudulent conduct of CPR. The company, owned and operated by Quincy Barrett (CEO) and Brandy Barrett (CFO), misrepresents services and caused us and other clients to lose thousands of dollars. CPR engages in repeated deception, creating a pattern of inconsistent and false statements. Communication is routinely delayed or nonexistent. Quincy Barrett goes silent for days and weeks at a time when updates are requested regarding the contracted project. Signed contracts are breached, and "lifetime warranties" become void when Quincy Barrett fails to meet contractual obligations. Quincy leaves before projects are completed or even begun. The project that was said would take two weeks to be completed did not even begin until 5 months later. The funniest yet is that the project remains unfinished one year and one day after the contract was signed on 12/12/24. CPR provides proof of current insurance coverage and then knowingly cancels the policy prior to the start of the project. When asked about insurance coverage for multiple property damages and a homeowner's bodily injury caused by materials left in the yard, CPR provided evasive responses and no resolution. The homeowner is instructed to cover the damages out of pocket with the promise of reimbursement, RIGHT... Documented damages include the central AC unit, windows and screens, security cameras, all landscape lighting, and most of the landscaping. Quincy Barrett pressures homeowners to authorize loan disbursements using false statements. When contacted by the loan company, he falsely stated that only one piece of siding remained to be installed for completion. CPR abandons a gutter, roofing, and siding project in an unfinished and unsafe condition, compromising the integrity of the home. The most documented deficiencies include gutters installed incorrectly, large sections of siding not installed, siding was installed on half of the porch ceiling instead of soffit, missing water barriers on exposed areas, no insulation in open sections of the home, an unfinished roof, multiple electrical outlets left exposed to the elements, and open gaps in the siding that have allowed vermin enter a previously sealed home now. Due to Quincy Barrett's failure to properly oversee the project in his role as project manager, custom window framing was not installed and may not have even been ordered. Security camera footage showed Quincy Barrett personally managing approximately one hour of the exterior project, which consisted primarily of walking the property and unloading supplies. A refund for the nonexistent custom window framing was eventually issued. However, CPR initially failed to provide the refund due to insufficient funds from the company account. Quincy Barrett claims the account was impacted by fraud. The refund was ultimately issued only after a cashier's check was demanded. Following the submission of the first review, and only review until today, 12/13/25, a 2:00 AM text message was received containing a screenshot of the review and a threatening message. The nature of the threat, whether physical or legal, is unclear. A request for clarification received no response. Responses provided by CPR now will consistently satisfy their claims, regardless of factual documentation. The conduct of Quincy and Brandy Barrett demonstrates a pattern of misrepresentation, nonperformance, and intimidation.

Their quote was competitive, and while they're not the cheapest option out there, they use top-quality products. My roof actually ended up as an upgrade from what I had before. From the first call to the final cleanup, everything was easy. Timely estimate, great communication, and a crew that was both friendly and efficient. I have a large roof, and they showed up early, knocked the whole job out in a single day, and cleaned up so thoroughly that my landscaping might have actually looked a little better after they left. Whether you need roofing, gutters, or siding, I can't recommend E.M.A. Construction highly enough. As long as they're in business, I won't be calling anyone else.

I wanted to replace it with similar siding because it seemed to be very durable. Replacement was necessary because the original siding was improperly installed and the planks were falling off the house. I repeatedly had planks replaced and paint never matched original siding properly. So I chose to replace the entire siding. My research identified James Hardie as an excellent siding; and it seems quite durable, has a decent warranty, and looks nice. I chose EMA Construction to install because of their long term experience with James Hardie siding, and previous customer reviews. So I am confident I have a good product that was properly installed. Eddie provided the estimate and stayed in contact with me during the project. The installer team was excellent. They commenced work as expected and completed on schedule.. in spite of several rainy days. One area of the house required custom cutting of the planks lengthwise and at a slight angle. The team did an excellent job custom fitting the siding to this area. The total install, including flashing, caulking, and siding fit are all excellent. Total results and cleanup was also perfect. The install team (Nico, Blake and Eric) was professional and friendly and explained what they were doing throughout. I would hire them again should the occasion arise.
