To be honest, I was hesitant and concerned about ordering from restaurants or any other establishments because of this pandemic. Eventually, I made my decision and went for it-- following every necessary precaution. As I reached my destination, I noticed a female employee cleaning the entrance glass door. There was also a male worker cleaning inside, and I felt at ease. I want to personally thank Tess and Jonathan for their hard work, and making sure their customers are in a safe, clean environment. I am extremely happy to see that these two individuals are also following health safety guidelines for their own sake. My experience with the rest of this establishment's staff has been great too!! From the very first bite, you can tell this cookie is something special. It has that perfect balance--crispy on the edges, soft and chewy in the center, with just the right amount of gooey chocolate in every bite. It's nostalgic yet elevated, like the cookies you dreamed of as a kid but better. Smart Cookie BK: Thick cookies, zero nonsense, full-on flavor…read more Look -- in a city where you can get a gourmet donut on every corner and your coffee order needs subtitles, it takes a lot for a cookie to stand out. But Smart Cookie BK? Different. These cookies are big, bold, and come correct. We're talking thick-thick. Like, borderline scone-sized. You don't nibble these -- you commit. Here's what I tried: Chocolate Chip: A Brooklyn classic in the making. Golden brown, soft in the middle, with big melty chocolate pockets. It's like the Levain-style cookie's cooler, downtown cousin. Chocolate Chip Walnut: Same base, but with roasted walnut chunks that give it that perfect chew and grown-up edge. If chocolate chip cookies went to therapy and came back evolved, it'd be this one. Funfetti: Bright, buttery, and straight-up joyful. Rainbow sprinkles in a soft sugar cookie that tastes like a birthday party in Prospect Park. Thick enough to count as lunch. Zero regrets. Oreos Cookies & Cream: Absolutely stacked with crushed Oreos. Soft, creamy, and kind of ridiculous in the best way. It's the cookie equivalent of binge-watching cartoons with cereal milk in hand. Chocolate Nutella Lava: Don't even play. You break this open and warm Nutella flows like it's gentrifying your taste buds. Dense, rich, gooey -- it's giving decadence. Also? The vibes are right. Cute packaging, friendly folks and that cozy, no-fuss Brooklyn energy that says, "Yeah, we know these cookies slap. You're welcome." If you're in BK and not hitting up Smart Cookie yet -- fix that. These are the kind of cookies that make you text your group chat mid-bite.
