The proof is in the pudding. If Karen M. can work her magic on my au naturale tresses then she…read moredeserves a crown. After several years of no chemical treatments, I decided to get a hair smoothing type of service that would help me loose some of the curl. Ultimately I decided on a Brazilian blowout. As one would imagine, the cost of this type of service is pretty expensive ($200-350). So, I went in search for a Groupon offer from a stylist with a good reputation. I found that in Karen. Karen answered all of my questions beforehand. When I arrived for my appointment, she explained each step of the process and discussed the maintenance requirements (specific products). End results were amazing! Three weeks later I can say it is totally worth the investment with or without a Groupon. There's much to be said about a great environment, attentive shampoo technicians and a competent stylist. Karen M. = rock star!

Karen was awful!!!!!! She treated me like a child, trying to…read moreexplain things and nearly made a person feel "stupid" also- she kept adding costs. She was very rude and always made me feel like her last priority! She let me sit there with my hair in the shampoo bowl like a wet dog as she "squeezed" someone else in for a haircut...I sat in the bowl the entire time while she finished her other clients haircut, I understand hairstylist try to multitask but don't just leave a client like that. She also didn't know what the hell she was doing with my highlights, she was careless and basically burned my scalp with the water (I let her know it was hot) and told me I was "sensitive" I'm sorry, but No one should be treated that way! I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER AT ALL! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!
