Jesse at Valvoline was great today! I pulled in, they did a normal check of lights, filters, air tire pressure, etc. They offered some products and services as a courtesy, to which I respectfully declined, and was still treated with respect and professionalism. He opened my glove box to check my air filter. Items fell out and he put everything back in as I originally had it. I don't mind paying $70 for an oil change when I was in and out in a LITERAL 15 minutes. You can't get a quicker oil change in town. Anywhere else you go, such as Mills or another dealership, costs me around that same $70 mark, and they have my car for an hour at minimum. DO NOT GO HERE! My subaru ran fine before taking it here for a routine oil change. They took out my air filter (normal procedure) & suggested I get a new one but I declined for today. They did not mention any issues and sent me on my way. I drive around the building to leave and my car will not go over 5 mph & it's shaking/revving. I drove it right back in & the employees immediately admitted my car was not doing this the first time I drove it in. The manager came to take a look & proceeded to tell me the reason this was happening is because of a huge hole in my air box. bullshit! if the hole was there before & was the reason for the car not driving right, I wouldn't have been able to drive it there in the first place! I strongly believe these people made this hole on accident and refuse to take accountability. My car ran perfect until Valvoline employees touched it. No refund, no help, no sympathy. My car is not drivable and I now will owe 200 plus dollars in separate repairs that were not needed until I got an oil change here. Fuck you guys! Below is the picture of the hole. wow. what a horrible experience. i'm 16 and went in to get my oil changed on my 2014 chevy cruz ltz. they told me that 70 dollar oil was the only option. they dug through my passenger side compartment and took out a filter and said i needed to buy a new one and i declined and told them to put it back in. then i left shortly after and paid for the 70 dollar oil. on my way home i was cold and turned on the heat and heard a very loud buzzing and air sound throughout the whole car coming from the passenger side. i immediately turned around after calling my dad and i went back in. they looked at my passenger side filter and took out a couple leaves then told me to blow the heat again. it was the same exact loud blowing buzzing noise. then after explaining that the noise did not occur before the oil change she told me that my blower motor broke and i would have to go to autozone solutions to get it fixed. she said that if the noise was caused by the oil change they would pay for it. i started bawling and the lady continued to lecture me after i said multiple times it was not doing that before. then they opened the door and told me to leave and to go to autozone solutions. they did not give me my money back and they did not apologize for what they did to my car. i called my dad and he told me to park outside of the shop and to wait for him and then the lady told him the same thing and we left very upset. i'm shocked that they weren't more sincere considering this happened to my car WHEN I GOT AN OIL CHANGE THERE. very disappointed. read more
