I recently went to a consultation with Dr. Tamara Fountain to see what she could do about my under eye bags. She told me all i needed was a good med spa and, while she didn't know her personally, she was impressed with Dr. Amy Taub's work. I looked up Dr. Taub and was excited to see she was right in my backyard at Advanced Dermatology. I called to make an appointment and they told me she wasn't seeing new patients for at least the next year. Never deterred I called their other location in Lincolnshire and they fit me in for a consultation later that month. During the consultation I met with Dr. Taub's lovely and very informative assistant and then Dr. Taub herself. They gave a recommendation for filler (which I've always been afraid of, but figured worth a shot) and scheduled me in the Glencoe office for a few weeks later. Apparently she is only in Glencoe on Thursdays, which is why it can be tough to get an appointment there. Appointment day arrived. I was a little scared of the pain, but figured it couldn't be worse than childbirth. Thanks to Dr. Taub and her amazing staff it didn't hurt at all. They also blow cold air on your face during the process, which felt really good after being outside on a very hot day. I left a little sore with very minimal bruising...and could already notice a big difference within 5 minutes. Dr. Taub didn't use all the filler i had purchased because didn't think i needed it and said the under eye area is very sensitive, but scheduled me for a quick follow up next month to see if i needed more. It was a very quick, painless and successful appointment. I was so impressed with Dr. Taub and the entire staff that I plan to go there for other cosmetic dermatology needs in the future.

I've had both Botox treatments and facials here, and each visit has left me feeling absolutely delighted. The staff are incredibly skilled and professional. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is calming and inviting. Susan or Alexis have always been warm and welcoming, which instantly puts you at ease. They make scheduling appointments a breeze, and I appreciate their flexibility in accommodating my busy schedule. As for the treatments, I've had Botox done, and the results have been amazing. Dr. Klein is highly knowledgeable and took the time to understand my concerns and goals. The procedure was virtually painless, and the results were fantastic. I felt and looked refreshed, and the natural-looking outcomes were exactly what I was hoping for. The facials are equally outstanding. Alexis is an expert in her field, and each facial is customized to address my specific skincare needs. My skin always feels rejuvenated and glowing after a session, and I can see and feel the difference for days. Additionally, the spa itself is immaculate, and they follow strict hygiene and safety protocols, which is of utmost importance to me. Overall, New Age Med Spa is my go-to place for these treatments. I've seen many injectors before, but with Fiona I felt completely at ease, like I was in the hands of someone who genuinely cares. She's pleasant, articulate, and has the eye and precision of an artist. Even more importantly, she wasn't pushy at all--she never suggested things out of my price range or tried to sell me on extras I didn't need. That kind of honesty is rare and refreshing. I cannot say a enough good things about Dr. Banerjee or Dr. B. I had a consultation several years…read moreago and agreed to fillers and PRP. I never followed-up because life got in the way. I scheduled a consultation in February, after the Doctor listened to my concerns, she recommended a Halo Laser treatment to promote collagen growth combined with BBL for dark spots spots due to aging. While she made recommendations that would give me the best long term results, she completely respectful of my right to make the decision. I was extremely anxious about a laser treatment because I had a fraxel laser treatment a number of years ago that resulted in scarring that was slow to heal. I was worried about downtime and potential damage. Dr. B told me downtime was 5 days and I am a slow healer so I was skeptical. I asked about the number of procedure they had done and they definitely had the completed significant number so I chose the Halo Laser with BBL for my face, neck and chest. I recommend Halo because the procedures are doctor supervised and the treatments were performed by a laser technician that had done over 100 procedures. My face, neck and chest were numbed and I thought the procedure was minimally painful, and the discomfort was tolerable. Included in the treatment plan were medications that would minimize related ancillary issues, i.e. cole sores, swelling. Additionally they included products to speed recovery. Over and above, I got a text message the next day, SUNDAY, to check on me and asked for pictures to see my progress! The practice followed up for the next days. I have had procedures with other doctors and couldn't even get a call back so I thought this was exceptional. True to their word, I was able to be on a Zoom call three days later. My tenacious brown spots disappeared or were significantly lightened. My eye area looks better and it takes several months to fully appreciate the benefits of collagen growth. My friend said I looked refreshed, relaxed and overall better. I highly recommend the Halo Laser and BBL treatment and this is the place to go.

Dr. Oh took the time to review my images and then sat down with me to go over her thoughts, answer my questions, and talk about how she recommended we move forward. I was so impressed and put at ease by this interaction. I finally felt like someone was giving it to me straight and like I had a voice into my care. Following this appointment, I transitioned to this being my primary OBGYNE provider. When we started trying to conceive at the end of 2018 and had difficulty, Dr. Oh again was so gracious, patient, and sympathetic. She helped us navigate some preliminary testing to check if anything was amiss as we continued to try. When we finally, thankfully were able to conceive on our own, Dr. Oh came in to the room for our first appointment and celebrated with us. We could sense her genuine excitement for us after trying for almost a year. I have experienced these doctors in some challenging medical situations. Not only my ovarian cyst, and trying to conceive, but also a subchorionic hematoma, difficult delivery, and now progesterone shots for my second pregnancy. Dr. Heiberger commanded the room with a firm but calm demeanor when I was delivering my first son and had complications. The nurses have gone to battle for me in this pregnancy with the specialty pharmacy to make sure I get my weekly progesterone shots delivered on time. I can't say enough good things about this place. I chose to leave an honest review instead so others don't end up in the same situation I am in... Like many women, I have always been unhappy with the state of my stomach. Diet and exercise couldn't seem to give me the flat stomach I desired so I turned to cool sculpting as liposuction seemed to be for more extreme cases and was much more expensive. Upon my initial consultation a really nice woman told me I had a similar body to hers and since my problem area "wasn't too bad" that I should see desired results after one treatment. I proceeded with cool sculpting, and not only was I unhappy with the outcome, the healing process proved very difficult. I was told some "slight tenderness" was in order, but what I had was weeks of lumps under my skin that painfully needed to be rubbed out on several re-visits. It felt like someone was pressing fire onto bruises. I didn't notice anything in the way of results so another very nice woman explained that two treatments were needed, and the woman who told me I only needed one was "let go" for giving me misinformation. I spent $2500 on the first treatment which I was being told would be completely wasted without a second treatment of $2100. The second treatment brought more of the same. Extreme pain to the point that I couldn't sleep on anything but my back, calling into work because I couldn't put on pants due to the painful lumps, dizziness, nausea, and this time a swollen stomach for over three weeks that left me looking 8 months pregnant. The woman who preformed the cool sculpting had me meet with the owner Irfan who insisted my case wasn't normal, and they would contact the rep for the cool sculpting to see what could be done. Since my treatment, the second nice woman has also been let go... I lost ten pounds through diet and exercise from the beginning of my first cool sculpting to the end of my second, and I am left looking larger than I did before I had the procedure done in the first place. It's like I am permanently swollen. After months of back and forth and meeting with another doctor (think about ten extra visits in total for complications and viewings), I was told the only thing they were willing to do was another round of treatment for free. If something caused you the worst pain of your life and to be larger than you were in the first place, would you want to put yourself through that again? I explained I understood I signed something saying that results may vary, but no where did it say I would have REVERSE results and such an incredibly painful healing process/recovery. I'm now out $4600 I saved YEARS for with zero compassion from the owner who viewed my horrific situation himself. In fact one of his emails even said, "If the treatment was so painful why did you opt for second round of treatment," and referred to my pain as "alleged" even though he met me with personally on one of my many visits. I found the entire interaction condescending and unprofessional. He acted as if offering me $300 of my $4600 was so incredibly generous. It wouldn't even cover my missed wages or gas for all my follow up visits. Also, I opted for a second round of treatment the same way women opt for another child. Sure giving birth it is painful, but the results are supposed to be worth it right? I was told I wouldn't see any results without it. My mistake for trusting this practice. Do yourself a favor and save your money. They have zero bedside manner, and if your procedure goes awry, don't expect any kind of compensation or compassion. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy.
