Working…read morewith Joshua was a great experience so much so that I will be using Atlas Empire again later this year for a bathroom renovation. Joshua and his team did an amazing job with the tear out or the carpet and the linoleum in the entire second floor and they floated the floors as well as laid the new flooring down in a total of 4 bedrooms, a game room, 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, 5 closets and a small section of hallway along with redoing my stairs. His painters are excellent. And they did this in about one week. And when there were any questions, and trust me I had lots of them as this was my 1st real renovation to this house, Joshua always responded with answers. And there were times that Joshua had come over himself and would help get the job done, and that's what I call GREAT customer service. Also when there were a few hiccups along the way Joshua and his team made it right. Thank you Atlas Empire and Joshua for such a great experience.

Told us he would be back out the next day to fix the drainage ditch portion and then work later on the rest when it dried out. When I got home the next day, to my surprise he had not only fixed the ditch but had smoothed out the front and side so that it all drains perfectly. It looks magnificent. Great workmanship. You can tell he enjoys what he does and he is super honest! We are looking forward to working with him on the next phase of our yard remodel.

From day 0 there were issues. We paid, they claimed we didn't so they weren't going to start the…read moreproject. Then the timeline was 8 weeks and most of the weeks they only worked a few hours. We ordered the fixtures through Ferguson and I had told them I wanted to order sooner than we did in case things weren't available, they ignored my request and then the tub we wanted was on a several month delay. So they gave us new options but didn't tell us that the new tub options would change the shower plans. So the whole purpose of redoing our bathroom was a bigger shower. That def did not happen despite me stating multiple times hey this looks smaller. Their sub-contractors often just wouldn't show up for days we either took off to be home or arranged for a dog sitter. The cost also kept increasing so what we planned for and discussed what a gross underestimate of what we ended up paying. My favorite parts though was the number of times a sub contractor used us to get paid since the contracting company wasn't paying them. The first time was during demo where the tile guys weren't going to haul off the tile until they were paid from a completely different job. Then after the project was over, another sub kept calling/texting asking about getting paid. Then one showed up to my house at 6pm asking about his money and showing texts where the contractors said they had negative balances in their accounts. So we had to show them we paid. They literally made this a project from hell and it's scary knowing they may or may not have paid people who know where you live.

A friend recommended Timber Creek Consulting to us for a remodel of my master bedroom, bathroom and…read morestairs leading up to my bonus room. Clint Noel first went over the project on the phone with us, gave me a ballpark figure of what it would cost, and then came to our house to meet with my husband and I to discuss the project in more detail. His subcontractors are excellent. We really liked the workers whom we got to know because they spent many days working at our house. The ones who did the tear-down, the finish carpenter, the painter, the electricians, master tile layer and many more were professional and very good. Clint is someone who wants everything done perfectly, and it shows in expectations he has of the people he uses. Clint also expects things to be done on the schedule he lays out for the project. There have been a few delays but that, I think, is to be expected especially when there are things that are out of his control, including the weather. He visits his job sites regularly, to maintain communication with the customer and his subcontractors, which ensures that you know he's involved in the project from start to finish. Clint/ Timber Creek Consulting Team Remodeling is the real deal! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone! I can't wait to start phase 2 of our outdoor oasis! I hired Clint and his team for this project as well. It's been such a pleasure to work with Clint and his team on my remodeling projects.

This company left me in a bind, cost me thousands of unnecessary dollars, and left me with an…read moreunfinished house that I will now need to hire someone else to finish because he refuses to answer my pleas to do what he promised he would do. It is going on 6 months now for a job that should have been 8-12 weeks according to him. Leo and Vadim started out very nice, responsive, and communicative. He made me feel very good about using his company and the quality I could expect from his workers. He was very confident in his abilities and what he could do for me and my property. I had concerns about his estimate price and the lack of details. In several meetings before we made a deal he assured me he would take care of every concern and keep coming back until I was satisfied. He said he would put everything in writing. I had total confidence in him. Turns out his estimate was ambiguous and open to interpretation. It lacked details and I brought it to his attention. He assured me this is the way this type of estimate is done and he would make sure everything we discussed was done. He added, he would keep coming back until I was satisfied. After the work started I stopped by a few times and noticed things his workers were doing did not seem right. Things such as demo'd materials sitting on the front lawn (killing the grass in a very large area), walls and ceilings being painted without the sheet rock repairs being made, outside wall siding and eaves being painted without the rotted wood and other defects being repaired, broken window sills that water will penetrate, windows without sealant that will let water penetrate, a new roof that has many low spots and visible water retention after it rains, exposed sub flooring where he installed new floors, it is visible where he pieced scrap wood together to make patches, the sheet rock tape is coming undone from the walls where they appear to have immediately painted over the attempted sheet rock repairs in a room that once had a huge hole in it, they used copper water pipe to install gas lines from the water heater to the washer location, I cannot feel any air coming from at least 4 of the ac vents throughout the house (this was supposed to be a new ac system), they used the 2x4 wall (less than 1.5 inches of air space) as the return air, They left construction debris all throughout the house and yard and told me I was supposed to clean it up, he promised a kitchen package including a stove, oven, and dishwasher then told me he couldn't install the dishwasher and he would give me $200 off of the price, The vent-hood/microwave combination is installed about 12 inches above the gas cook-top, the vent-hood/microwave cord runs along the wall exposed to the gas cook-top, the duct for the vent-hood directly exhausts into the attic around combustible materials, some of the cabinet doors do not open and some that do are difficult to move, the sink light is now missing and has a round plate screwed on to cover the hole, the new disposal sounds as if it will fall out of the sink at any minute, the bathroom closet door is missing but the door track is still there but just painted over, one bedroom is missing a ceiling fan he promised in the estimate and in its place is a fixture that is so loose on the ceiling it will most likely fall down at any minute and is also installed about 2 feet from center of the room, I could go on and on. I still do not have warranty paperwork for the new roof, the new a/c, the two appliances he did install, the foundation work he said he completed, or anything else I should have a written guarantee/warranty for. This review was much longer with more details and examples but I had to edit it because it was too long to post. If you use Leo or Instamax, be sure to get detailed estimates in writing, and a signed contract with a detailed timeline before you give him any money and before you get yourself into a situation where time is not on your side. He took advantage of me in those situations and he could very well take advantage of you too. If I can find a way to post the photos here I will be happy to share his work with everyone.

ASSESSMENT ANS ESTIMATE: This is one of the best interactions I have had with a contractor for my…read morehome in a long time. Daniel was super professional and the outcome and process were outstanding. When we were taking bids, some roof companies went on and on and I felt like I was being held captive -- others gave me lower quotes over the phone without seeing the roof! Daniel came out in person, was thorough, explained everything and answered questions but respected my time. He also understood the complications of insurance claims and worked with us on that. I had taken a lot of notes from the more expensive companies and learned that Daniel's company was using exactly the same materials! Daniel was not the cheapest but far from most expensive and he established a trust with us. PRE INSTALLATION: Daniel was super responsive to my follow up texts. At one point I asked if we should go with two solar fans to vent the roof. He said he would be happy to do it BUT we don't need it. What other contractor would turn down an up charge? Daniel came the day before installation to do prep. He notice my lawn was a little long and explained that if the lawn could be shorter it will help ensure 100% nail clean up. I tried to get my landscaper in later that afternoon but that was a no go. Daniel then tried to start up my long-neglected lawn mower and saw it wasn't working. So Daniel came back in his truck with his own lawn mower and mowed my lawn! INSTALLATION AND FOLLOW UP: Installation went really well. It was clear Daniel took care of his workers. Daniel supervised the entire project. Every time one of us left the house, Daniel was there providing safe passage with wood to make sure we did not step on any nails. And now it's been months and I have never seen a left over nail. We have had torrential rain many times and no leaks!
