The show was in the back room which was brightly lit, laid out with about 20 lightweight wooden fold-up chairs but no tables (so ok to hold a drink in your hand but you wouldn't be able to eat a meal back here). There was a physical bar in the room but no drinks or staff. There's also a unisex restroom in here. The rest of the bar is low lighting, but clean and had a few tables in addition to the bar seating to enjoy a meal. Service was great and they had a handful of good beers on tap.

Recently discovered this business and I am very glad I did…read more This year, I needed help getting 2 very specific items for my wife for Christmas. Due to the pandemic, I did everything over the internet. The gentleman I dealt with was only concerned with helping me get exactly what I wanted. With incredible patience he provided me with specific information, checked inventories and made suggestions. After I made my final decisions, he explained all of the options available for assembly and delivery. The day after I made my decisions I physically went into the the store to pay for my selections. All of the paperwork needed was prepared and waiting at the front desk. This entire process was fast, easy and a perfect example of stellar customer service. I will definitely be going back here many, many times.

Ace itself is rarely the most economical option when I need something for home improvement. Also…read moreI'm a cheapskate. With that said, I am a happy patron of this particular store and always go there first if I need something. When you get there it doesn't seem like they are definitely going to have what you specifically need because it's in such a small space (compared to say Home Depot is Lowe's) but they do such an excellent job of curating their stock that I have never not found what I was looking for. I don't even know how they do it but it's really impressive. When I'm shopping for something I am really adverse to employees approaching me (I fall for an up sell really easily so it just makes me anxious). The staff here though are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It has the feel of a neighborhood mom and pop type of store and I attribute most of that to the staff. It's clear that everyone there actually wants to be there and it makes for a great experience. The only negative is that the Ace Rewards is one of the most useless rewards program I have ever encountered but that's not up for to the store so I'm not holding it against them. Getting a five dollar coupon for a specific item I'm never going to need if I spend a hundred bucks is kind of silly though. The worst customer service I have ever received has consistently been at Home Depot and Lowe's. Between waiting for a couple employees to finish their conversations when I need help to asking where something is and getting an "I dunno" it makes me really happy to have an option where I am positive that will never happen. If you need something for home improvement go there first. Even if it's not the closest, it's worth it for the great shopping experience.

I know. What's a girl like me doing in a place like this you ask. Since I'm not the handiest girl…read morearound you don't often find me in a hardware store. However I have found myself here twice in the past week. The first time was to try to find pruners that can be used standing. While we were not able to find those, sadly, the owner (I think) and his employee went out of their way to see how they could help me. Then, a few days later, I find myself on a mission to find a certain kind of plant food. I had already checked at Home Depot while buying bird seed, but they had not had it come in for over a year and were not sure when it was coming in. I called Walmart, Loews, and two garden stores in the area too. They did not have any in stock either. On a whim I stopped in here again, asked the employee if they had it, he took me to the aisle and there it was!! I scooped up the two boxes they had. This store looks small from the outside, but it is quite large once inside. It is next to and connected to the Schuele Paint Store, more or else on the corner of Summer and Main. Rather than travel to the suburbs, I will go here first now, they are helpful, pleasant, local and easy to get to.

I found out that was not the case, and my Painting company directed me to a different Sherwin-Williams that took care of me over the phone in a heartbeat. Call Dan at the Williamsville store, he will treat you right! And the did. I wanted to support my local East Aurora store but honestly I don't like supporting lazy workers and the painting folks confirmed they don't like EA store either. Lost my business, lost my respect as well. Lesson learned.

We really wanted all the doors in that hallway to match and so we began searching. I heard about this place through a friend. We went to their showroom to look around and after that visit it was clear that they do beautiful, quality work. Some of the custom doors can get pretty pricey, so we just ordered a basic shaker door and some trim to match the doors we already had in the house. They were easy to work with and had fair prices. We were able to stain the doors to match other doors in the house so we were pleased.
