R&R was the 6th mechanic I'd tried to get an inspection from over the previous 3 weeks - every other place told me they couldn't do it that day, or I'd need to leave it at least overnight (or three days in one case), their inspector was only there 1 or 2 days a week, and so on. Some of those places I'd tried multiple times without any luck. I'd gotten a recommendation for R&R at the previous place I'd just tried, and was told that it was likely they would take me right in. They did, and though it turned out I needed a new headlight, they ordered the headlight and fit me in first thing on Thursday, the morning after the headlight arrived. Done and done. I figured that whoever got me in for the inspection instead of giving me a list of reasons they couldn't do it would get my business from here on out, and I still feel that way. So 5 stars to R&R.
