Amazing amazing roofers!…read more Jacob got in touch with me right away when I put out a Yelp SOS after the recent Nor'Easter ripped off a piece of my roof. He had one of his guys here the next day and they climbed on the roof, showed me photos of the damage, and a couple of other things our roofer in 2010 never took care of. Jacob was fair with his pricing and promised to have someone out the following day once the rain had stopped. The next morning his crew showed up right on time and got to work. Four hours later my roof was fixed and in better condition than it was previously. All in all very easy experience and Jacob's workers are pleasant. They also left no mess! Highly recommend Jacob and his team to take care of your roofing needs (they do gutters, too!).

David the owner responded…read morewithin a few hours of our initial call (late in the evening on a Sunday) and showed up exactly when he said he would (the next day for an emergency tarp) we found him to be very reliable and considerate. We had to coordinate with our solar company to remove the panels before David could start and he was wonderful about sticking with that schedule. His crew took care when removing the old roof and had even laid out tarps to make sure the majority of the old nails and such were picked up and not left for our children or dogs to step on. we had an excellent experience with this company and highly recommend them!!

Do not use this roofer. David is unreliable, unresponsive, and unprofessional…read more I am active duty military and after being restationed I kept my house as a rental property. I am reliant on responsive professionals to help me whenever maintenance issues come up. After my roof leaked, I found David who came to the house to do the repairs. A few months later the exact same leaks occurred again. After multiple text messages, phone calls, and cancellations he finally got out there and charged me several thousand dollars to do additional repairs. He "guaranteed" the roof would not leak again. Less than 6 months later the same exact leak occurred again, this time an emergency leak, he told me the best he could do was go out 6 days later to assess. He said he would bring his brother because he couldn't figure out what the problem was. Except he never showed up, lied about showing up (my tenants were home all day and have cameras), never called after promising, then rescheduled 6 days later. Then it rained again and leaked again. Then when he was supposed to show, he finally told me me after being 8 hours late (and multiple missed calls and texts) that something came up and his phone was dead. He then told me "maybe" he could get there after another 6 days. This would be 3 weeks after the original leaks occurred. He told me he has other customers and basically I was not his priority despite the severity of the leak and the fact that he "fixed" the leak two times before. He will not answer your calls, text messages, and will cancel on you multiple times and give you every excuse in the book. I finally had enough and found someone else to do the repairs. Save yourself the hassle and heart ache and avoid this roofer at all costs!

Makes the house look much better and everything was cleaned up, no debris was left. You wouldn't even have been able to tell any work was done. I recommend using them if you need gutters. The price was reasonable. I also checked the gutters the next day and realized they put like a gutter guard mesh screen on them, which was a welcome surprise. We have had issues with the old gutters getting all clogged up with leaves and had to have them hosed out. Hopefully these screens will solve that issue.

After we spoke about the possible solutions/plans, Jeff did not rush me to proceed with his recommendations and gave me time to think about my options. I asked for siding and window price to the day they came to price out and specified agin I was probably only gonna use for roof. Price came back for total job called him told him I would like to use him for roof then they started to avoid and not call me back, I think they realized they underbid the roof job hoping for the rest, gave me run around for 3 weeks would never call back and finally I got hold of them and asked if they wanted to do the roof and they said no. My recommendation don't ask them for a quote and be specific that you may only use them for that one job because if you don't have them do the whole job they will not call you back and play games very unprofessional.

Dennis hopped up on the roof during the estimate, I appreciated that, the other vendors just eyed it from the ground. I got three estimates, one company was more interested in doing my masonry, the other company was trying to give me the hard sell, "what do you need to think about?" A1 had copies of their Insurance & license in their packet. The other guys, "yeah, we've got that." Dennis knew a ridgeline vent wouldn't work on my install. The other companies said I had to install it. Everything I read said you don't mix an attic fan with a ridgeline vent. The last company, (Brothers Aluminum) said, "We're a GAF gold installer, 25 year GAF warranty, what do you need to think about." He was so arrogant that when he left I called GAF tech line. They said "A1 Roofing is right, Brother's Aluminum is wrong. You don't mix a ridgeline vent and attic fan. We have a technical bulletin on our website." Go with A1 Roofing, I shouldn't have to become an expert on roofing systems, and neither should you. A1 Roofing knows what they're doing.
